An epi which should clear much doubts about who loves whom.
The King and the Middle Fairy (MF): The King basically tells the MF that whatever happened that night was a mistake and that the only ones who can complete them are their respective spouses the Queen Fairy (QF) and the Former Crown Prince (FCP). Maybe the king could have been more forthright in telling her her place in his life, but remember the MF is only half in age, less mature and desperately in love. Maybe the king was being both fair and prudent in not ticking her off. The MF did compare herself to the QF saying that if earlier QF had given him a shoulder to cry on when she had hurt him, she had repaid the complement on 10/3 but conveniently overlooked the fact that unlike her, the QF had never attempted to seduce him when he was down.
FCP and MF on the beach: A long winding speech by MF on their state of relationships which did not make much sense either to FCP nor to me but did remove any doubt about MF being the natural daughter of Kiran Dixit. But what struck me was the fact that she was forgiving FCP for his mistakes – now what exactly had the FCP done to require her forgiveness. The other interesting thing is that it seems that they too had a ONS the previous night and just like the King, the FCP too does not seem to remember anything about it. Felt a bit sorry for FCP- he is as passionate and intense a lover as the King and in spite of everything he still wants his wife back. But unfortunately the object of his love is sadly lacking.
Chaandni Ratein: The King's smile and the lovey-dovey looks he gave his queen should remove any doubt as to who he is in love with. With the heart to heart chat with the MF over, there was no more hesitation or embarrassment in dealing with the QF's attentions. There was no intrusion from the past, not the QF's past sainthood nor the King's sin. The QF's ear rings were lovely, I wonder if they would be sent to the MF for repairs. Well, as someone on IF pointed out the King and QF may as well enjoy the good times till they last before Hurricane Pia strikes them.
The Two Witches: The king was absolutely zapped when the Wicked Witch (WW) told him of an attack on his empire "yeh sab ho kya raha hai". The poor fellow has been robbed of his brains ever since the three fairies walked into his kingdom. And yet the Queen Mother still calls her bahurani Laxmi. So, Nattu is the mole in the Walia Camp as many had rightly pointed out but that he is the second witches (SW) son no one had predicted. I don't know what is SW's grudge, what her objective is and how she plans to achieve her goals and frankly speaking I don't care. I do know two things for sure: The king is completely innocent and as long as the QF is by his side nothing much can happen to him.
Hurricane Jigyasa made QF forgive the king for PRgate, it would be interesting if Hurricane Barnali makes the QF forgive the king for Piagate. And just as the King was proved innocent of any wrongdoing in the PR scam, I am 200% sure that he would be proved innocent in Piagate too.
