He won't say anything to Pia - or if he does, he will say "what do you think" leaving it open to interpretation by both the audience and Pia and Pia will take it mean something else.

He is still very angry/upset about the baby so he will not be admitting any feelings for Bani either to himself or to anyone else. And he has just made his next biggest mistake (the first being to go to her at all), by telling her he doesn't remember what happened. Pia is going to milk that statement for all its worth.

Also, someone has definitely overheard the conversation b/w them and will use it either to convince Pia that Jai has feelings for her and to go after her jiju, or will tell Bani giving it the "they did it" twist.
