CHAPTER 59: **special update cuz I just cannot study anymore…for navu and my jaanu…**
**hope u enjoy this part...after some drama...time for some comedy**
Jai watched Bani from the widow for a while, she looked so sad. Even though Jai couldn't see her face he could read her body…and it was stiff and tired. He kicked himself for taking this stupid "payback" too far. Bani was right, ofcourse, he had gone way too far. He had even realized it but by then it was too late. He still remembered the bottomless pit in his stomach when Bani was in the hospital fighting for her life. If anyone had told him then, or even now, to imagine life without Bani by his side…he would have knocked the lights out of that person. How could he do that to Bani…his Bani…he didn't know how. But now, it was time to fix his mistake…and from the looks of it…that was going to take serious work.
Jai saw Bani come into the house and waited for her to come up but she didn't. He figured she was in the study or something thinking…he wanted to give her space. It had been over one hour and still no sign of Bani. Jai ventured downstairs to locate Bani, but to his surprise she was no where to be found. He looked every where but no sign, for a second he thought she had left or that something had happened to her. He was almost in a state of panic, when he heard the door to Avivas room open and out came Aviva and Rano. They looked at him and he walked over to them, knowing very well why he was out there….
J- Tumne Bani ko kahin dekha?
R- Jiju…woh humare saath Avi di ke room mein hai.
J- Oh…lekin kyun…bohot raath hochuke hai…aur…
Av- Jiju woh kya hai naa ke…hum saab (Jigs, Anu and Rano) baatein kaar reha the jaab Bani aayi. Bohot upset thi, aur saaf saaf nazar aah raha tha ke woh roh rahi thi. Usse bath kaarni thi, well she vented to us.
J- Woh tik toh hai naa? (worried)
R- Haan, didi tik hai…umm…woh rohte rohte soh gayi. Aap chahe toh hum didi ko jaga sakte hai.
J- Um…nahin…tik hai…obviously woh tak gayi hai, usse aaram kaarne doh.
R- Ok jiju…good night.
J- Lekin..woh…Bani…tik………..
Av- Jiju…Bani tik hai, as well as can be expected…aagar aapke zarurat ho toh hum aapko bula lenge. Now good night!
R- Haan, yeh saab drama ke baa dim sure u r tired jiju…
Rano giggles and goes back into the room. That night the girls all sleep in Avivas room. Jigyasa and Anu are still shaken from the drama that Jai had displayed. Rano and Aviva were just sitting there listening to them rant and rave about Jai scaring them, and how much they love the guys…blah blah blah…lol. That way if Bani woke up im the middle of the night, they were all there to help her…
Jai returned to their room, which now seemed so lifeless and empty without Bani or her presence there. He got changed and laid down on the bed, but as he knew, no sleep came to Jai…none what so ever. He laid there and just tossed and turned the whole night. Finally at 5:00am he couldn't take it anymore…he had to do something. That's when it dawned on him, plan A on how to mannao Bani. Now energized Jai got dressed and went to wake up his accomplices for his plan. First came Sahil…..
J- (wispers) Sahil………Saaaaaahil……(no response; Jai gets closet right next to Sahils ears) SAHIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (and shakes him…guli jaanu..u know like Jai did to the ice cream guy)
S- Huh…kya…kya hua…kya hai…
(Sahil sits bolt up on the bed and is looking around to get his bearings…he has no idea what is going on. Jai cant resist and burst out laughing)
S- Bhaia…AAP!?!?!?
J- Haan…chalo…get ready..
S- Ready (still groggy) lekin kyun….(guli…the dance style…just like ice cream guy)
J- I need your help…chalo jaldi….
S- Ok bhaia, no problem ill be glad to help you…ok kaal subha baath karenge…ok…good night..(lays back down)
J- Sahil…subha hogayi hai….
S- What…kaise…(looks at the clock at his side) Oh god bhaia…subha ke 5:30 baje hai…kya aap bhi naa.
J- Dekho…aaj tumhare saagayi hai…jaldi utto…I need help…varna tum toh jaante ho…what I will do…
Sahil groans and that is Jais signal that Sahil will now get up and get dressed. Jai yelled for him to be out and in the car by 6..no later. Next Jai headed to Tassos room. Jai walked in slowly…Jai wanted to scare Tasso just like he had scared Sahil but he decided against it. Jai went over to Tasso and called him a few times, no response…then he puts a hand on his arm and shakes him to get up…not too fast…just a lil…Tasso stirs and next thing Jai knows Tassos hands go around Jais arm and pulls him almost onto the bed…
T- Kya Aviva…mujhe soone doh naa…(Jai still too shocked to say anything)…shaadi se pehele yeh saab tik nahin hai…tum mere kaamre mein kaise aaya…aagar tumhara Jai jiju ne dehk liya toh. Ek baar usske haath ka thapar kaa chukka hoon…I don't want another…Jai Walia Slap…zindagi mein ek hi kafi hai.
J- (in his deep voice) Main Aviva nahin hoon…(Tasso is all "huh"…still eyes closed) aur agar tumne mera haat abhi nahin choda toh ek kya…duz aur padenge.
(Tasso lets go with a start…literally falling off the bed)
T- Oh…jiju aap…woh…maine samja…
(Jai kneels down to Tassos level)
J- Paata hai ke tumne kya socha…aab jaldi get ready..hum bahar jaa rehe hai…be ready by 6..
T- Magar…aabhi toh sirf 5:34 baje…
J- Kyun….koi problem……..(he has that ill kill u look)
T- No…absolutely not…main toh baas abhi gaya aur abhi aaya…
J- Good…..
Leaving Tasso to himself, Jai heads to Adityas room. He knows that he will be able to get Adi to wake up with no problem…he has and idea…Jai creeps into Adis room…Adi is sleeping so peacefully…aww…Jai gets an evil look on his face. Jai get a tissue from the tissue box on Adis table. He takes one end and rolls it into a little roll, kind of pointy and what not. Jai sneeks up to Adis side, silently, and takes that edge and sticks it up Adis nose…Adi takes his hand and smacks himself….hard I might add…trying to get that thing away from him. He is thinking it is like a fly or something. He sits up and sees Jai rolling to the floor with laughter.
Adi- Kya hua!?? Saab tik hai…
J- Oh…god yaar…I needed that laugh/
Adi- Jai…TU!!!!???
J- Ok now jaldi…I have a plan…be out by 6
Adi- Come on yaar…fine…
Adi knowing its useless to argue with Jai just gets up and goes to get ready. At 6:05am Jai walks out to the car. He sees Adi is coming out right behind him. He looks to the car and laughs at the sight. In the back seat, there are Tasso and Sahil…sleeping…but not just that…Tasso has his head on Sahils shoulder and Sahil has his head on Tassos head. Adi comes and sees this and starts laughing. They make a plan…
Jai gets the car started, but that dosent bother either man sleeping in the back. He pulls out of the drive way and takes some speed…then winks at Adi…suddenly Jai puts his brakes all the way. Tasso and Sahil are jolted awake not knowing what happned…
S- Kya hua…kya hua…!?!
Adi- Woh kuch nahin Sahil…saamen ek kutte aagaye the…kuch nahin…
T- Oh…man….
J- Tum log soh jaao…kuch nahin hai.
Tasso and Sahil nod their heads in agreement and then get back into their same positions, on each other. Jai and Adi are watching all this. After a minute Tasso and Sahil shoot up and look at each other…fumbling for words…then they just go to the corners and fall asleep again. Jai and Adi exchange glances and burst out laughing at those two. After 10 minutes Adi is ready with his prank. He get the radio ready, he puts on the station that is playing "who let the dogs out..woof woof woof"…lol…then he looks at Jai and counts to three….1………2…………3……….with that he turns the radio on full blast and again jolt Tasso and Sahil awake…as soon as they are up Adi turns of the radio, but his and Jais laughter can be heard.
S- What is this bhaia, tik se soh bhi nahin pati..
T- Kya jiju…vaise…hum kahaa jaa rehe hai.
J- Grocery store…
Adi- S-T- KYA!?!?!
Adi- Lekin Jai…itne subha…
J- You will see………..
They guys return home and it is almost 7:30, they are running late. Jai had never shopped for groceries before. People always did it for him, but this time he had to do it. There were so many choices…dear lord he thought. Take him to a jewelry store and he could pick out the perfect piece in a matter of minutes…when it came to choosing milk…it took him 20minutes.
*at the store*
J- Yeh hai kya, so many options…main kaunsa loon. They have whole milk, half n' half, low fat, 2% milk…what the…yeh 2% milk kya hai bhai…
S- Bhaia…iska matlab ke bottle mein sirf 2% doodh hai, baki ke 98% pani hai.
Adi- Vaise if its for coffee, kyun na tum creamer use karo.
J- Ok…where is creamer…
T- Right here jiju…kaunsa chahiyeh aapko…french vanilla, irish, hazel nut, mocha…
(Jai looked at him with a blank face; they ended up buying 3 different types of everything…come one…JW can afford it *wink wink*)
*back home*
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! (picture something blowing up…lol…I didn't what else to put)
The girls are rattled awake from their sleep by a loud explosion. It takes them a minute to get their surroundings. They all look at each other..
Jig- What was that.!?!
R- Paata nahin di…shayaad bahaar se aaya.
A- Haan, shayad…umm….explosion…that's what it sounded like.
Av- Lekin explosion…itne subha…its only…(looks at the clock) 8:00am
B- OMG………(wispers) Jai……
They girls all grab their robes and run out to see where that sound came from. Each of them have their hearts in their throats… not knowing what happened. Just then Rano sees smoke from the corner of her eyes…
R- Iss taraf….this way…
They all run to the direction the smoke is coming from. They stop dead in their tracks and cannot believe their eyes. There they are, the four guys…standing in what looked like the kitchen, all though Bani wasn't sure anymore. On the counter there had to be 3 dozen egg shells…easy…some kind of batter all over the sink and some of it burning on the stove top. The water for something over flowing over the pot onto the stove as well. Onions and mushrooms and other veggies scattered all over…peel and all. On the table was melons galore, water/honey dew/cantaloupe….other fruits…strawberries, apples, oranges, peaches, grapes…all on the table…some smashed…others with bites in them…the melons almost hollow from being balled so much…The girls looked to the floor to find the melon balls, on the floor. One of the milk cartons fell to its side and all the milk spilled onto the floor. Also on the stove was the bottom protion of a pressure cooker, apparently that is what made the sound when the lid went flying off into oblivion…lol….
Then they finally see the guys…each and every one covered from head to toe in flour. Tasso next to the sink with the melon baler in one hand and a knife in another. Sahil trying…and failing …to keep what ever was on the par from burning. Adi mixing what looked like eggs in a bowl. Jai takes the cake…he is in a chefs hat, a huge bowl in his hand, a wisk and covered from head to toe in batter…there is pin drop silence…the only sound is the sizzle of the water spilling onto the hot stove and then the long beed o fthe microwave.
Jai was thinking…could this get any worse. He had planned a traditional western breakfast in bed as his first trick to mannao Bani. Clearly that had back fired. He had the idea or fresh fruits, a good veggie omelet, fluffy chocolate chip pancakes, and to top it off a good cup of foamy coffee. That all was shot to h*ll…as u can see…lol…So much for a perfect start to this day. Would it get any worse was all Jai could think about…
Just then the girls busted out laughing, and literally were falling. They had to hold on to each other so they wouldn't fall to the floor. This was definitely a sight to see…hilarious…Apparently things could get worse for Jai. He looked up to see all the girls laughing…except for one…BANI…she was looking at him with raw anger and rage in her eyes…her body was stiff and you could tell she was trying her best to keep he anger in check.
J- (thinking)…main toh gaya kaamse…another screw up…another bad one…what is the score…2 for Jai's stupidity…and 0 for winning back Bani…oh God…..help me….
..Ch. 60…………see what happens to Jai…and engagement….yay…another walia party….
