CHAPTER 47: *sorry for the super long delay…hope u all enjoy this part too*…
J- Jaab maine kahaa ke I Love You…uske jawab mein tumne kahaa ke tumhe paata hai aur yeh hi sunna tha tumhe…(oohhh not looking good)…tumhara matlab kya tha…tumhe kaise paata tha/ How did you know…aur…yeh hi sunna tha ka matlab kya hai….?????
(Bani froze on the spot…what would she say to Jai now)
J- Bani…?
B- Ji..?
J- Kya matlab tha uska?
B- Ji woh…umm…woh kya hai naa ke…uff…
J- Bani aab kya chupa rahi ho mujhse, bol bhi do naa.
B- Aacha tik hai lekin pehele aap vaada kijiyeh ke aap naraz nahin honge, mujhe pe ya kissi aur pe.
J- Kya vaada? Paar kyun?
B- Please…kijiyeh naa.
J- Chalo baba, vaada kiya ke main tumhani ya kissi aur ke upar naraz nahin honga. Tik hai, aab bolo.
B- Woh…actually…woh…
J- Bani..
B- Baath yeh hai ke jaab aapne uss raath mujhse kahaa tha ke aap mujhse pyaar karte hai toh maine sunliya tha.
J- Kis raath…kya keherehe ho tum? Im confused Bani.
B- Woh uss raath, hospital mein…aap ko laga tha ke main so rahi hoon, lekin actually I was awake.
J- Kya…woh…tumne woh sunlit hi? Lekin phir kuch kahaa kyun nahin?
B- Paata nahin kyun lekin main bohot nervous hogayi thi.
J- Lekin I still don't understand.
B- Jaab maine aapse subha pucha ke aapne agle raath ko kuch kahaa ya nahin aapne kahaa ke nahin. Taab aapne aapke dil ki baath chupa liya tha.
J- Toh?
B- Toh phir maine yeh baath Rano, Jiggs aur Anu ko bataya.
J- Un theen ko yeh saab paatha hai?
B- Haan, ofcourse…hum charon ke beech mein no secrets.
J- Lekin yeh bhi..(imagining how the girls must have reacted to the mighty Jai Walia not being able to tell his wife he loved her to her face. Oh he would never live this one down)
B- Sorry…yeh bhi…
J- Phir…
B- Phir humne ek plan banaya, lekin aapke phone ke vaje se woh plan kamiyaab nahin hua. Hume phir dusre aur thesre plan banana pada. Phir jaab aapne almost kehediya ke aap mujhse pyaar karte hai, taab massi ne aapko bula liya.
J- OMG…woh saab games vegera saab set tha, saab plan tha?
B- Ji sir. Lekin humere plans saab fail hue, sivaye ek ke.
J- Kaun plan?
B- Aapko jaalane ka plan…vaise maine sunna hai ke aap ek bohot hi jealous type ke aadmi hai.
J- Aacha…kahaa se sunna yeh? Un ladkiyoon ko main nahin chodunga kaal.
B- Aare idar udar ke baath hai, saab log yeh hi keheta hai aapke peet piche.
J- Aacha…zaar un logo ka naam deh naa, phir dekhte hai ke woh kya kehete hai mere bare mein. Vaise aagar koi tumhe ghalat nazroon se dheke naa toh main uske akheen noch lunga…aur woh tasso toh tumhe chu raha tha….it was too much…"tujhpe hai sirf mera haq"
B- (playfully hits his chest) aye haye..himesh reshamiya… Jo bhi ho, it worked…Tasso se aap itne jaal gaye the kea apse raha nahin gaya aur aapne yeh kabul kar liye ke you love me.
J- Haan baba, I love you and only you.
B- Main bhi….
The night flies by with them talking more and eventually falling asleep in each others arms. In the morning Jai awakened by Banis aarti and the destincy chan chan of her paayals. From the sound he knows that she is headed towards the room. Bani enters with pooja thali and the room seems to glow. Jai glances at her and gives her a naughty grin and a sly wink. Bani blushes slightly and smiles. She comes to him and tells him its late and he should get fresh and come down stairs for breakfast. As she is about to walk away Jai being very sly, grabs Bani by the wrist and pulls her to him. Bani some how manages to balance the thali and lands on to p of Jai…
B- Aare…yeh kya karrehe hai aap? Chodiye mujhe, neeche kitne kaam hai.
J- Aare aapne biwi ko pyaar karraha hoon, yeh koi gunna hai kya?
B- Aap bhi, yeh koi waqt hai pyaar kaarne ke liye? (trying very had to get up)
J- Aare pyaare kaarne ke liye koi bhi waqt sahi hai.
Jai places a kiss on Banis lips, well almost, because she turns away from him and it lands on her cheek. Being caught slightly off gaurs, Bani uses this opportunity to get away from his grip. B4 Jai realizes it, Bani is standing by the door, blushing, and smiling. She gives him one last glance and tells him to hurry up and join everyone for breakfast. She leaves, with Jai grinning from ear to ear.
Downstairs it was everyone except for Massi and Dadi. They already had their breakfast and had gone for a walk in their garden. Bani, Jigyasa, Anu, Aviva and Rano were in the kitchen getting all the details from Bani about the previous night. However, Bani had side stepped the whole part about "hanky panky"..they didn't need to know about that stuff. Adi and Sahil were sitting at the table helping Tasso set up. Tasso was craking jokes about all sorts of things so they were all laughing. The girls come out from the kitchen, hands full of food, and ask why they are all laughing. Sahil repeats the joke and now everyone bursts out laughing. All of a sudden the laughter dies, as Bani looks up she sees that Tasso has a look or terror on his face, one of his hands is cradeling his swollen right cheek. Bani follows his eyes and sees Jai standing in front of them. Bani and everyone else realizes that Tasso shut up because of Jai…poor Tasso was afraid that Jai may slug him all over again. The girls burst out laughing not being able to control themselves any longer.
B- Tasso relax yaar, itna tense kyun ho?
T- Woh…paata nahin, lekin Jai sir ko dekh kar kaal raath ka thappar yaad aagaya. Dusra khane ka koi shok nahin hai mujhe, main chala. (about to leave but Jigyasa stops him)
Jig- Aare ruk naa, Bhaia aaise nahin hai…kyun Bhaia?
(Jai silent, not saying anything)
A- Aare jiju, aap kya naraz hai?
R- Jiju kya baath hai, aap itne chup chap kyun hai.
(Bani giggles on the side)
J- Haan haan, hasso hasso. Mere itna bada mazak banake tum log hasso.
Jig- Kya hua Bhaia?
J- Tum log toh mujhse baath hi maat karo. Bohot naraz hoon tum saab se.
Avi- Haila…kyun jiju…humne kya kiya? (Navs….see…I made her call him Jiju…lolz)
J- Aacha, tumne kya kiya…woh saab games saab ek plan tha…
(Everyone looks from Jai to Bani who can do nothing but smile)
J- Haan, kaal raath Bani ne mujhe saab baata diya. Tum log ne kya kya plan kiya, kaise saab plans fail hua…saab kuch…
(As if for protection the girls move behind Bani who is standing at the head of the table. And as if almost in a wisper the all say "Sorry Jiju" *aviva bhi*)
S- Ek minute…bhabi ne aapko SAAB kuch baata diya?
J- Haan…kyun…
Adi- Bani yeh kya…tumne toh kahaa ke tum Jai ko kuch nahin baataoge, lekin…
S- Haan bhabi…kya zarurat thi Bhaia ko yeh baatane ke hum bhi aap ke saare plans mein shamil tha.
J- Kya!?
S- Kya?!
J- Tum aur Adi bhi shamil the inke plans mein?
S- Haan woh…bhabi…(looks at Bani who has been trying to get Sahil and Adis attention for a while now)…aapne Bhaia ko nahin baataya ke hum aapke saath the?
B- Nahin…maine toh nahin baataya lekin…
Adi- Lekin aab Sahil ne saara pol khol diya hai, hai naa?
B- Ji…aapne aap ko toh phasaya dewargi ne, aur saath saath aap ko bhi Adi Bhaia.
J- Tum dono Bani ke saat mila hua tha, mere bhai aur best friends. Aare Sahil toh hai hi aapne bhabi ke chamca, lekin Adi tum bhi.
Adi- (not really paying attention to Jai goes after Sahil)… Sahil…ther toh jaa…aaj tu nahin bachsakti mujhse…ek baar haath aaja….
J- Tum dono mujhse baach nahin sakti…
Jai, Adi and Sahil break into a full out chase. Adi trying to catch Sahil but stay away from Jai at the same time. Sahil bechara trying to stay away from both Jai and Adi, and out Jai trying to get his hands on at least one of his betrayers. They are all in a line…Sahil…Adi…and Jai…The girls are holding on to their stomachs and lughing…it is just too much. They are rolling with laughter. All of a sudden u hear a loud crashing noise, glass shattering. Then they see first Sahil fall and then Adi and Jai…one respectively on top of the other.
Because they heard the crash and shattering of glass all the girls and Tasso (humara jiju lol) all gasped. Before anyone could react Anu yelled "SAHIL!" and almost ran to his side since he was the one that had fallen first. Bani thankfully grabbed her hand and kept her from going to Sahil like that because Jai was there too. Jigyasa and Tasso were first to get to the fallen men…lol…Followed by Aviva, Rano, Bani and Anu. There was destince moaning and groaning coming from Sahil…everyone thought that Sahil must have fallen on the broken glass. The worry and tension was clearly visible on Anus face. Tasso wquickly helped Jai up and then Adi. Sahil lay on the floor on this stomach, both arms and legs spread out like he is making a snow angel. He is still but groaning. Slowly Sahil turns over and has a look of pain and anguish on his face. Bani kneels down beside him, and everyone watches. Anu on the side is gripping into Avivas arm for support not knowing what has happned to him…
B- Sahil…tum tik toh ho naa…
S- Ahh…Ohhh…
B- Sahil kya hua?
Jig- Haan Bhaia, aap tik toh hai naa…?
S- Aare kaise tik hosakta hoon, mere upar itne mote mote do insane girpada…mere toh hadi pasli tutgayi hogi. Jai aur Adi Bhaia, aap log aajse thoda sa dieting karna…nahin toh next time main to ek daam khalas.
(They finally see that a vase has shattered but far from them, the guys tripped it and knocked it over but away from them. They all burst out into laughter at Sahil. Anu smiles a little but the quickly sneeks away. Bani and Aviva notice that Anu is going to the upstairs room but is wiping her face with her hands. Bani has a feeling that Anu isn't too pleased with sahils joke. )
B- Ok Ok bohot hogaya mazak…aab aap log please haath muh dho legiyeh nasta tayar hai. (Jai and Adi head to the downstairs bathroom since they just need to freshen up, and Sahil decides to tag along too)
Avi- Aare Sahil Bhaia, aap upar jaiyeh naa…woh humare room ke paas…(winking at him)
S- Upar…lekin kyun…nahin…
B- Aare Sahil…jaoo naa…jaldi..
S- Lekin bhabi…
Before Sahil can get another word in he is rushed up the stairs by Aviva.
Avi- Yeh ladke bhi naa, budhu ke budhu hi hai, thoda se bhi akal nahin hai.
Jig- Kyun kya hua…
B- Woh Sahil ka joke shayad Anu ko tik nahin laga, daar gayei thi bechari aur woh upar chalegaye…shayad ro raha hoga.
R- Oh…I see…Sahil Bhaia is damage control…
T- Aare jaab damage ussne kiya hai to control bhi usse karna hai kyun?
Avi- Ji…bilkul (navs looks…aviva addresses aur jiju as "JI"..aye haye…kya pyaar hai)
In the Upstairs Room:
*Sahil enters cuz he hears sobs and sniffles*
S- Anu? Anu…tum roo kyun rahi ho? Kya hua?
(Anu sees Sahil and just rushes to hug him. After a while she releases him she smacks his arm and upside the head too)
S- Hey…mujhe maar rahi hoo kyun?
A- Phirse aaise mazak kiya toh aur maar padenge.
S- Kaise mazak…oh..woh..woh toh kuch bhi nahin tha.
A- Kuch bhi nahin…jaab woh glass toota aur tum gir pade toh mujhe laga tha ke tumhe bohot chot aaya hai. It was not funny. Meri toh jaan hi nikal gayi. Tum nahin jante ke main tumse kitna pyaar karti hoon.
S- Oh ho…itna pyaar karte ho humse, haye main maar javaan…*winks at her; and wipes of a tear with his thumb*
A- (hits him again) Sahil…vaada karo ke phirse nahin karoge.
S- Aacha baba nahin karunga…vaise…I love you too…
(they look at each other and realize that this was the first time they had sadi I love you to each other. They embrace each other for another minute b4 leaving)
Downstairs:
Jai and Adi have returned to the table where everyone is just sitting down to eat. Jai notices that Sahil and Anu are missing.
J- Yeh Sahil aur Anu kidar hai?
R- Woh jiju…
Avi- Aare jiju Sahil Bhaia toh upar hai, freshening up lekin Anu kahaan hai mujhe nahin paata.
(Just then Sahil and Anu come down the stairs; Anu a few steps ahead of Sahil)
J- Yeh lo, aagaya…kahaan the tum dono?
S- Bhaia woh main to fresh horaha tha…aur…
A- Jiju main bhi upar thi, mere ek phone call tha usse attend karrahi thi.
J- Oh lekin phir aaise kyun lag raha hai ke tum ro rahi thi?
(Everyone looks at Anu, waiting to see what excuse she can come up with for this one)
A- Oh woh…mummy ka phone tha, u know moms…zayada emotional hojati hai aur kuch nahin.
J- Oh…ok…chalo khanna kha lete hai.
They are all enjoying breakfast. Joking around about how they all fell, three grown men falling like dominoes on the floor was too funny. The girls mercilessly teased Jai about how he couldt tell Bani he loved her and what not…then Jai realized something.
J- Ok aab I have a question.
Jig- Kya Bhaia?
J- Aagar woh Jealousy saab plan tha, aur Aviva aur Tasso bhai behen nahin hai toh kya hai?
R- Aare aapko yeh baath main bata thi hoon. Aviva aur Tasso well…they are engaged!!...Tasso humara Jiju hai…shaadi karna hai inn dono ko.
J- Oh really…well congratulations.
T- Thank you sir.
J- Aab yeh sir var chodo, aab hum dost hai, tum mujhe Jai bula sakte ho.
T- Aare nahin, Jai nahin. Aap Aviva ka jiju had toh mere jiju bhi…
J- Chalo, jaise tuhare marzi.
They all enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Jai and Bani make plans to go out with the gang and have lunch, shop and maybe a movie since aviva and Tasso have to fly back the Canada the next evening. Everyone is all to excited to go especially our copules.
…Ch 48…Jai notices something fishy going on between certain people. Will Jai be able to put two and two together…wait and see…
