RK should Quit the show like the other RK

Rk should have the guts to quit the show like Rajeev Khandelwal did. Hats off to the latter for refusing to be subjected to acting out ridiculous story lines.

I can't understand why an actor of Ram Kapoor's caliber is allowing himself to be used, rather, misused in this fashion.

It's obvious that there are giant sized loopholes and bloopers in every episode now-a-days. Take yesterday's episode for example (20th sept)

First of all, this divorce is uncontested by Jai. So what was the point in Bani appearing in court as though she was under trial?

An uncontested divorce case can be wrapped up in minutes in the judge's chambers without the public partaking of it.

Secondly, as some of u have said, Jai knows Jig's feelings towards Bani and her sisters. So, why did he swallow all that bunkum about making sure that neither Bani nor the family name will suffer in the court?

Thirdly, why should a tough tycoon like Jai be unable to withstand the court proceedings? Has marriage made him so useless?

Fourthly, how does Jigs think she can get away with all the tamasha in court? Isn't she worried that Jai will question her intentions? Wouldn't he ask her:

1. Why did she pass of some crummy lawyer as his?

2. Why didn't she tell him about the photos earlier...she surely knew of them, else how did her lawyer get them?

3. Why the jhooti hamdardi when she planned to stab him in the back?

The questions r endless.

So, I repeat, RK should quit if he still wants our respect and admiration!

Nice thread! You certainly have a point about the huge bloobers, but in the end I guess an actor does just his work. It's the writers who are responsible for the script. The only time I think an actor should step out is when he is asked to portray something unethical, something so bad that it goes beyong his princples and believes.

If we start applying logic to why we watch, when anyone with half a brain cell can see the twaddle of a script that these poor actors have to follow, it's tatamount to saying they are real people and not just flippin characters.

It's entertainment........not life and not rocket science.

One assumes that providing entertainment is one of the reasons why these actors continue to do it, not because they really think it's their duty to portray life as it really is.

Yah man I am sure alot of ppl(including me offcourse) watch KS only and only for Ram kapoor and if he leaves(and I wouldnt blame him ) its gonna go down the drain and the TRP'S will drop...like thats what happened to Ghar ek Mandir after he left...Ekta had to take it off air
