It's too bad Khoo and Monika refuse to come back, but I think we should respect their decision. As for the Dev Team I understand their point completely as they have to keep this forum going. So all with all a nice decision. I wish Khoo and Monika good luck and who knows maybe one day they will come back.

I was gone for a few hours and I was thinking to myself that if Khoo & Monika really don't wish to continue to remain as viewbies in KS then we should respect their desicion and move on. We all tried to get them back. Its time to look for new viewbies for the section.

I am hoping MT continues the updates (she said she would) - its a sheer pleasure reading her updates but some others here also have done a great job like Himali & Pooja Walia - pitching in when needed.

The GMs did an awesome job trying to reason with the concerned parties. I have to applaud you all for your patience. Eventually we all have to make a desicion sooner or later. With the way the discussions were going it didn't seem like there was any other way out.

Hope Monika and Khoo change their desicion. We all would like to have them here but once again its their desicion to quit and we have to respect that. Good Luck to them.
So lets move on and have a peaceful forum.

Thank you guys for understanding and extending your support. For the last three days we tried our level best to provide answers to all the querries. Unfortunately for many,they were not the answers that they were hoping to hear,and we too are sorry for that,but we cannot go beyond that. Those were the only answers we had. I wish that our efforts bore more fruits, but at the end, each of us get something,and that is how it should be.....

I will miss you Khoo and Monica; If you both think you cannot cope with the guidelines that has been laid down for the whole development team, then we respect your stand. I wish it was otherwise, and prayed that so many did not get hurt in the process, but we tried and finally, but it's now time to move on.

I am also very happy to see so many members resolving to act according to what this forum stands for,and wish from the bottom of my heart that everything becomes enjoyable and fun filled with time. Time is the greatest healer, and perhaps,after a while, this would not appear as important and earth shattering as it might apear to some here now.

In the end,KS is bigger than everything that is going on here,and once all of you have some space to think it out, you might come to think the same.

Also, we will make sure that the new dev team is aware of every guideline that is there to moderate a section,and I hope we never everhave to face anything unpleasant here after.

Khoo and Monica, no matter what you think, you shall be missed by all of us here. All the best to you.

It has been quite an ordeal for everybody. Not everybody is happy with the decision, but we need to move on. I have utmost respect for the GMs who stayed on top of things day and night, making this a priority, when it was a weekend and they too wanted to spend time with their families.
I applaud them for their perserverence and their determination to make people understand their view. They were consistent in their process and made sure that they were not losing their cool at any point. This is a discussion board and we come here to discuss. As long as we dont break the bounding rules, we all can have healthy conversations, debates.
There are a lot of youngsters in this group and are very impressionable and this needs to be learning experience for them to see that things do not always work the way we want, but life has to go on. One should have the ability to recognize the fact that not all 5 fingers are the same and at the same time, understand that without the five fingers, its not easy to handle situations.
This is an ideal platform to use your talents of observations, writing and most importantly life skills.
Nobody at work or college has the patience that the GMs have shown.

The GM's have been the most patient people throughout this entire ordeal and their work needs to be commended. Thank you very much for all your patience and perseverence through an entire weekend. I hope you do realise that your work is highly appreciated in this forum and elsewhere as well.
And yes it is understood that we will post and continue healthy discussionswithin the rules of the forum (as always) but you have our word yet again.

I'm sorry that Khoo ji and Monika ji didn't want to come back - they were great Viewbies and we will miss them all terribly.
