PART 14

"Yeh hai Kaun?" Jai tried to interrupt the two love birds, one was his fianc. "Yeh mera husband!" Pia answered. Jai literally jumped out of his chair when he said, "WHAT?" "haan, he is my husband, Pushkar!" Pia replied calmly kissing Puskar's hand (im not going to satisfy the readers with n e kisses and overused and overrated nuzzling). Pushkar extended his hand towards Jai to properly introduce himself, "Hi, Im Pushkar, naam to suna hoga!" Much to Jai's confusion, he asked again, "KIA?? Yeh kia ho raha hai?" "let me see how I can make this simple for you Mr. Vollaya, Puskar is my H-U-S-B-A-N-D" Pia tired to instigate Jai. "I got that part genius!" Jai replied in a thundering tone and leaves. "Pushkar tumne mere itna kehne ke bajaye aakar plan kharab kar diya…magar I have it under control bas tum…."
Pia told pushkar in an irritated tone. "Pia I am sorry agey sey aisa nahi hoga." Pushkar tried to console Pia. "Mujhe pata hai aage aisa nahi hoga kyun ki next time aisa hum kuch karne wale nahi hai." Pia replied.
Later in the evening, Pia goes to Jai's study where he has immersed himself in his work, trying not to think about Pia, tryin to think it was a dream, keeps telling himself "Pia cant do this, she loves me too much". "Mr. Vollaya?" Pia said. Jai looked up form his work to Pia and asked, "Pia yeh Pushkar kaun hai?"
"Oh, Mr. Vollaya wohh toh mera cousin hai, wohh aap sey prank karne ki koshish kar raha tha, lagta hai he succeeded, now I owe him money." Pia tried to explain. "Oh, Thank God, mein toh waqai…." Jai sighed adnw as relieved, "Chalo usko dinner deyte hain aaj ya kal?" "Mr. Vollaya, I already arranged for dinner at home…if that's ok with you, Pushy aaj itne din baad aya hai…isliye mein uska fav khana banaya hai." Pia asked. "Yea whatever makes you happy, "Jai said. "Ok then ill set up for dinner than and ill call you down." Pia said as she tried to leave.
"Pia tumne mujhe subha kyun nahi bataya pushkar was your cousin?" Jai investigated. "Wohh.woh…who isliye ki usne mujhe pehli hi sey bata diya tha ki wohh aapko prank karega," Pia finished and left in a hurry.
Jai beemed at the table, served pushy whole heartedly and enjoyed every bit of it. "Ok guys its time for me to retire, tum dono itne din baad mile ho u guys have a lot to catch up on ill leave you two to that. Goodnite." Jai left them saying goodbye.
Jai went to his room and fell asleep thinking, "dono cousin the mein bhi kitna budhoo hoon..dono ko husband wife samajh liya". Jai felt a sudden dryness in this throat, "Oh god am soo parched." He got up to find a glass of water in his room but when he couldn't find it he left for the kitchen on the way he heard laughters, he thinks to himself, "dono bohat close lagtey hain chalo dekhon." Jai who was happy that pia had her cousin over and was enjoying herself, peeked throught the ajar door, what he saw and heard astonished Him to no end. He felt blood rise to his face and he clenched his fingers into a fist and ran to his room. "Meine kia socha aur kia nikle yeh dono kia nikley." As Jai sat there, thoughts stormed into his head, thundering conclusions and what not. "I cant believe this, meine Bani ko bhi…who bhi pia ke kehne pey…Mein jeene layak nahi hoon…." Jai took out a rope and made a noose and tried to hang himself when Pia walked in. Jai for a second thought she would stop him and said "Tumhare kehne na kehne sey mein nahi rookon ga!"
Pia replied, "Mein nahi rokongi, aap apni marzi sey kuch bhi kariye" and she walked out. Jai could not bellive what pia had just said to him, that's it he couldn't take it anymore, he wanted to end himself for the injustice he did to bani, he knew what he did was wrong and he just wanted to go to bani. His last words before he hung himself, "BANI MEIN ARAHA HOON!"
