Jai calls a meeting of his close people and tells them that he has reviewed the company position of the last 2 quarters i.e 6 months and he has seen that they have lost 2 very prestigious contract's to Dixit Software …..which is to say BANI DIXIT….

Jai tells them that he no longer wants the Walia group to loose any contract whether it is to Dixit software or to any other company for that matter………therefore his staff better pull up their socks and work hard… and most importantly he wants to find out what all are the new projects that Bani Dixit …… he means Dixit Software is working on…….

As he is winding up the meeting Tarun comes in … and hears the end parts and figures out the situation….

Tarun: Jai don't you think you are becoming a little too obsessed with Bani Dixit……come on man…….she is not even that pretty…..

Jai: Shut up yaar…. Tarun…… you know how much I detest her……

Tarun: after all Jai….. nafrat hi to pyaar ki pehli manzil hai…..

Jai: Tarun!!!!!!... get a grip on your one track mind…….it is just that I don't want to see the Walia Group loosing…..

Tarun: Just Chill….Jai…. Walia Group is much much bigger than Dixit Software can ever hope to be .... Come on .. now is the great Jai Walia… afraid of loosing to a slip of a girl….

Jai Admit it yaar…. You like her….. infact …..I feel you guys are perfect for each other ……after all she is just like you…. She looks after her family the way you do….. she also runs a successful business as you.. …in fact I think tum dono ke nature bhi kafi milte hain.. Dheer .. gambhir….

Jai : Tarun Ho gaya….! Pata nahin ab ki baar tumhe kya ho gaya hai,.. jad dekho mughe kissi na kissi ke sath SET karte rehto ho… Don't forget Bani is just 27 and I an 38… we have 11 years of an age gap…

Tarun: Oh my GOD! You mean you have actually calculated it… man you must be really mad about her…..

Jai: Tarun enough !... I just want to win from that Bani Dixit …….

Masi also knows that the Walia's and Dixit's are not that pally with each other and knowing that both Rano and in a way Pia are now going to be married in the Walia family…..she wants to bring the families closer….therefore she arranges a weekend out for both the families at the Walia farm house outside Mumbai…..No one can say no Masi and therefore the weekend trip is set…

Dixit's also includes Viren and his younger brother Vicky……

(Vicky is a very sweet young chap.. …..younger than Rano by a few months… he is the apple of Bani's eye….Bani has never differentiated between Rano and Vicky… In fact she has rather spoiled Vicky… after all ……appni Rano was too sensible to be spoiled… this Vicky is you can say like Lakshya from Kyunki…very sweet, adorable and cute..)

They have a bonfire in the evening with drinks….Jai has the barbecue going .. …and is dressed.. in a an old faded jeans with a black tee….. Bani on the other hand is dressed in pure white Sari ( rather formal but she is feeling formal considering that it is Rano's sasural )… shimmering in white with little diamonte jewels… tinkling from her ears.. neck and hands….glowing in the light of the fire…….

Jai finds himself staring at her again and again… he doesn't know what's got into him.. nor can he forget what Tarun told him…. that he and Bani were perfect for each other…..

As the evening draws to an end Viren decides to leave saying that he has an early morning meeting…..to catch…..Vicky decides to stay…he has had a little too much to drink…. Chup chup ke from Viren and Bani di…….

Finally they are sitting on the third floor living room drinking coffee…. Jai is sitting by the window …… while Bani… is sitting on the sofa facing away from him…..some of them are still outside by the bonfire……

Suddenly ……they hear…… a scream and someone drunk and shouting………Main Yahan se Kud ke mar jaoonga……….

Bani…… is shocked and so is Jai……..they both exchange a look and rush outside……both of them are stunned to find that Vicky is perched on top of the Farmhouse building….. just like Veru in Sholay… with a bottle in his hand……

Vicky: Main Yahan se Kud ke mar jaoonga……….

All the others have collected below him.. are saying… Vicky .. take care..you may fall down….. Vicky… please take care….. both Rano and Pia are almost crying….. everyone is trying to tell him …..Vicky you are very precariously perched …… you may fall down any minute… but our Vicky is totally a gone case…..

they ask him……..Vicky tum koodna kyon chahate ho……..

Vicky: Agar mujhe Naina nahin mili to……Main Yahan se Kud ke mar jaoonga……….

Bani is shell shocked… Naina? Who Naina?

Jai is like……Who in the god's name is Naina???

No one has a clue….. except Rano… she tells them that she studies with Vicky in College and is Anurag Verma's sister… the same Anurag Verma who was to marry Pia……

More shock follows… Pia starts crying… vehemently…. & Pushkar .. consoles her…..

Bani shouts..... Vicky… tumhe Naina mil jayeegi…..tum bas….. neeche aa jaooo…….

Vicky: Nahin …... Nahin milegi….. Dad Kabhi tayaar nahin honge… aur na hi app …….Bani Di….Mein kissi ko dukh nahin dena chahata…... isliye main…jaa raha hun….

Bani is like What?...When in the God's name did he talk to me……

Bani: Says… Vicky mein tayar hun…. Aur Yash Uncle ko bhi main mana loongi……

Vicky: Nahin Di… Who Anurag… uska Bhai… kabhi nahin manega…. Mai gaya tha uske paas….. Usne mana kar diya……. use mera pyaar nahi dikha…..

Bani is astounded…. What in the God's name has Vicky been upto…..

Jai: Vicky Don't Worry. .. Anurag is a very good friend of mine….. woh maan jayega……Tum bas neeche aa jaooo…. Mein tumhe abhi Naina ke paas le chalta hun….

Vicky: Par……woh Naina bhi to… mere pyaar ko nahin samaghti…. woh kehti hai ki use mujh se pyaar nahin hai…… mujhe …..( again the same track plays)…Naina nahin mili to ….. Main Kud ….jaoonga

This time everyone has really had it………..Naina bhi isse pyaar nahin karti…………… to ye kis ke liye…… majnu bana firta hai……

Bani has had enough… she rushes inside and goes to the top……. where Vicky is….Vicky is perched on the top parapet….. she also….. goes and gets perched there close to Vicky.. be fore he knows it… as he is busy in explaining to others his life story….

The moment Pia and Rano see Bani next to Vicky….Oh! MY GOD!..Bani Di….

Pia:( tells Pushkar)….. Pushkar.. Di ko to Vertigo ki problem hai….unhe.. heights se bahut daar lagta hai… unhe neeche dekte hi chakkar aa jaate hain…

Jai hears this and rushes upstairs with Tarun……..

Bani on the other hand… is busy consoling Vicky…

Bani: Vicky tum bilkul chinta nahin karo… mein tumhari shaadi Naina se hi karaoongi.. tum dono ko ek hone se koi rok nahin payega…. After all mein tumhari Bani Di hun na….

But Vicky ka to tape recorder atka hua hai…..

Jai and Tarun see that Vicky jahan par perched hai wahan se 5-6 ft aage neeche ek window hai.. jis mein se who Vicky ke legs kheech sakte hai

Jai and Traun indicate this to Bani….. Bani moves towards Vicky and Vicky in turn moves forward… finally moving 5-6 ft… and Jai and Tarun are able to pull him to safety… quite tricky but they are able to do it…..

Bani heaves a sigh of great relief……but now that Vicky is safe the moment she looks down she is petrified…..the whole view starts spinning….

Jai and Traun..call.. Bani aab tumhari bari…aao… but Bani is frozen still she can't seem to move…..A momemt later they realise that Bani.. is scared stiff… Jai explains to Tarun that Bani has a vertigo problem……

Tarun: Agar use vertigo ki problem hai to who vahan par chadi hi kyun…..

Jai and Tarun try to coax Bani but to no avail… she refuses to budge….everytime she opens her eyes… her feels she is going to fall any moment…..

Finally… Jai decides to join her…. Tarun.. tries to stop him.. but then lets him go….

Jia sits next to her…. and says.. Bani mughe apna haath do…. He repeats….. but Bani is too petrified…..

Finally.. .. gets hold of her hand on his own….

Jai: Bani daarne ki koi baat nahin hai… tum bas dheere dheere shift ho jaao….

Bani shakes her head in the negative…….

Jai: aacha Bani…. Tumhe daar lag rah hai…

She nods.. Yes….

Jai: Tum mere aankho mein dekho……

Bani refuses to open her eyes…. Finally Jai repeats and is able to coax her into looking into his eyes… those soulful eyes…. Bani looks into them and is lost…..they seem to know her inside out….

Looking deep into her eyes and not breaking contact even for a second… Jai… tells her to shift inch by inch… Bani does so…. She also does not break contact….

Dheere ….Dheere.. they move to where the others are waiting to grab them…. And when Bani comes in reach they grab her….. but still Bani and Jai do not break contact… finally when Bani is inside their contact is broken….

Jai is right behind her…….

Bani crumbles down on the floor as if her legs are made of jelly………Jai anticipating this holds her from her waist…..

Pia and Rano both hug her… Di…..

Bani stabilises herself… and enquires about Vicky….. she is informed that he has been put to bed…..

Bani turns towards.. Jai and Tarun.. says.. Thank you Mr. Walia.. Tarun ji…..

Agar aaj aap log nahin hote to mughe nhain paat kya ho jaata……..

……..Mein Yash uncle ko kya mooh dekhati…

Tarun: Its okay Bani….

Jai: ( angrily running his hand through his hair) Bani….you are mad…..agar tumhe vertigo ki problem hai tu upar gayi hi kyun….. agar mein waqt pe nahin aata.. to Vicky ki jagah tum hoti …. Wahan neeche….

Bani: I am sorry Mr. walia… us waqt mughe Vicky ke siva kuch nahin nazar aaya.. I am sorry aap ko meri wajah se itni takleef hui…..

At her sorry face Jai is immediately contrite and says…. its okay….

They all finally retire for the night… Bani is unable to sleep she keeps remembering Jai's eyes… on the other hand Jai also keeps remembering how scared he had been for Bani……
