Chapter 7:

"Bani, would you like to go to dinner tonight? Around 7-ish?" Pushkar asked shyly, running his hand through his hair. Bani wanted to melt, he looked soo ADORABLE. (see, she'll realise he's a boy,and jai's a MAN!)Pushkar had insisted that he drop Bani home that evening, and Bani realised that this was why he wanted to take her home. They stood on the porch, outside Bani's door. Pushkar put his hands in his pockets, kicking at the floor, as he waited for Bani's answer. After a few minutes of silence, Pushkar thought she didnt want to go, and so he started to say she didnt have to go if she didnt want to, but Bani cut him off, ensuring that she wanted to go, and she would be waiting for him at 7. Both smiled, extremely pleased, then Pushkar went back to his car to leave.
"Pushkar!! Ruko Ruko! Where are you taking me?!" Bani called out as Pushkar started the car.

"Le Jardin Restaurant" (thats french for "The garden restaurant") Jai told Anjali, as they sat in his black benz. Anjali smiled weekly at him. She was very hesitant to be around Jai, especially since he had hurt her so much. Both got out of the car, and gave valet to park as they made their way into the restaurant. The restaurant itself was a breath-taking scene. It was actually a wide garden maze, lit by icicle lights and fancy candles, under a clear glass roof. It was very fancy and royal and the perfect place to spend time with someone you cared about alot, as it was just like dining under the stars! There was soft ambience in the background. Anjali was taken aback with the beauty of the restaurant Jai had taken her too. He squeezed her hand, then led her of to their table.

"Pia! Rano! I'm leaving now! Pushkar is here!" squealed Bani. Pia and Rano came rushing down the stairs, to see their di off. Bani looked like an angel from above, dressed in a white outfit (same style to the one she wore for astitva awards, but without big silver dots) with silver workings at the foot of her pants, and silver embroidery elsewhere. She wore hoop earings and a pretty chain with a crystal pendant. Pushkar ran up to their door excitedly, adn knocked a few times. Giggling and squealing, Pia and Rano opened the door.
"Hello, I'm here to pick Bani up" Pushkar told Pia. Pia stared at him, lost in his cuteness, and didn't reply.Bani had explained everything to them, how she now owned Mittal Inc, and how Pushkar, the same one they had met in the club, was taking her out to dinner. Pia had not told her di about her feelings for Pushkar, so she could not object to their date. Instead, she acted bright and happy for her di, deciding that she would never let Bani know of her feelings for Pushkar. Rano giggled and nudged Pia in her ribs, bringing her back to the present. Pushkar realised that this was Pia, the same Pia from the club. He felt a bit guilty, as he looked at her, but he didnt have much time to feel guilty, as he saw Bani walking shyly towards the door. (wind blows, like a typicall breath-taking scene) Pushkar was mesmerized in how beautiful Bani looked. He mouthed something like a fool, unable to talk as he was lost in Bani-land. Bani noticed and immediately turned red. "Hello Pushkar" she said softly.
"Baniii!" he whispered. Rano and Pia burst out in giggles, watching Pushkar practically drool all over himself. Embarassed, Pushkar cleared his throat and blushed. He extended his hand, which Bani took, and he led her out to his car. Rano and Pia were just laughing and rolling around in fits of giggles at Pushkar's expressions. Pia was really mature/immature about the whole thing. She figured that they were just friends and were going to have a business dinner thingy, or at least that's what she told herself so that she could sleep peacefully.

"Um, Jai, i'll be back in a minute." Anjali said quietly. She looked really pretty in the candle light, yet she had an uneasy look on her face. "Is everything alright?" he asked, concerend. She nodded, and then got up and headed over to the ladie's room. Jai stared at her, and thought to himself "I really like Anjali, but i really like Ria, Priya and Tara alot too.Not really Roshni, she's just like a clinger,But..Bani..Bani Bani Bani, why did i say wht i said. Why is this girl taking over my waking moments too? I don't even know anything about her, except her NAME!" He was brooding over Bani a lot since he had met her. He had seen her face wherever he went he dreamt of her at work and at home, and thought about her 24/7. Jai looked up, and what he saw made him believe he was going crazy. "Bani?" he whispered. She appeared as an illusion ot him, dressed in white looking adorable. She was chatting brightly with someone, but Jai couldnt see who. He tried to get a better view, trying to see if it really was his Bani.
He got up from his chair, craning his neck to see if it was indeed Bani, but so many people were now coming into the restaurant that when he blinked twice, he didnt see Bani again, which made his think he was indeed turning insane.
Jai jumped, when he heard someone cough near him. "Jai?" Anjali called him. Jai turned to her, "Anjali, when did you get back? Um, where were you? I was looking for you" he lied. Anjali gave him a suspicious glare, then sat down.

"Oh Pushkar! It's lovely! I've never seen anything like it! It must be so expensive?! Why did you bring me here? We could have gone somwhere less expensive? I really wouldn't mind!" Bani exclaimed as she and Pushkar sat at their table. Guess which restaurant they went to? You got it, Le Jardin Restaurant, so Jai wasn't dreaming!
Pushkar laughed at her," Bani, you are definitely not like other girls i've met before! They all knew who i was, and insisted that i take them to expensive restaurants and buy them expensive things, but you, you're different. You're so down to earth, and simple." He praised her, making her blush cutely. "Hmmm, is that so? Well, i'm most definitely NOT like other girls!" she agreed. Pushkar smiled, enjoying her company a lot. They had only known each other for 2 days, yet he felt like he knew her already, Bani also felt this way. Bani felt Pushkar's intense gaze upon her face, and turned her head sideways, looking at the crowd in the restaurant.
"Mr Walia?!" she blurted out. Pushkar's smile instantly faded. "Kahan hai Mr Walia? Yahan?" he asked. "Umm..." Bani said. She wasnt sure if it was him, but just imagining that he might be here sent butterflies up her stomach. She started to feel the same way she had felt the first time she had ever seen Jai. Pushkar noticed her expression, and became a bit tensed. He started to feel a bit jealous of Mr Walia, even though he was like his best friend.

"Bani, who are you looking at?" Pushkar said in a soft, sort of hurt voice. "Um, no one" she replied softly, ahting to lie to this sweet guy. "Oh" Pushkar rpelied, still in that hurt voice.

Jai could not concentrate much on either his meal, or Anjali. He was still sneaking glimpses all around the garden, looking for Bani. He strongly believed this time she was not an illusion. He scanned the entire area, and then, at long last, he came upon a table, down at the back, near the lake (yea i decided it needs a lake too. He recognised the person immediately. The silky hair, the body figure, that creamy face, those lips --THOSE EYES!! Those eyes were now staring into Jai's eyes!!!

Bani had been sneaking glances around the restaurant in search of Mr Walia. She knew it was him, her heart told her so. She was still feeling guilty that she was here with Pushkar, yet looking for another man. At long last, she came across those brown eyes and a handsome familar face. A face that had haunted her dreams for many weeks now. That face was also staring back at her. 'Omg, it's him...why is he looking at me?! Does he even remember me? OF COURSE NOT BANI, he's some big business man, probably has a million other girlfriends to worry about,(she doesnt know how right AND wrong she is!) he wouldnt remember me! He was only being nice because he wanted to keep a good rep for his club!" Bani quarelled with herself. Bani froze as she saw Jai gazing at her, her body began to heat up, just knowing that he was gazing intently at HER. She didnt know what it was, but whatever she had began feeling again, was lost when she saw a gorgeous woman slap Jai across his face and storm out of the restaurant.

"What the....!!!" Jai bellowed. He had been so lost in Bani, that he had forgotten about Anjali sitting there, and was paying her no attention whatsoever. "Dammit!" he screamed, as he touched his face where he had been slapped. He flew up from his seat and stomped off to see where Anjali had run off too. "shit! ugghh why does this keep happening to me? Since when do i get caught?! and since when did i start having feelings for that beautiful stranger?" jai asked himself roughly. He ran out to the car park, to see which direction Anjali had headed. She was no where in sight, so Jai went back to the restaurant to pay and apologize for the disturbance. He then went off to the lake to sit and brood over everything that had just happened, forgetting Bani for a little bit.

Bani however, was still in shock by what she had just seen. She then saw Jai heading offto the lake, not too far from their table. "Jai sir?" Pushkar called out uncertainly. He too had witnessed what had just happened. Jai stopped and turned swiftly to that familiar voice. "Pushkar!" he said in a happy voice. He made his way over to Pushkar's table to talk, but stopped in his tracks when he saw who the boy was having dinner with. Bani lowered her eyes as Jai came slowly over to them. Jai didnt remove his gaze from on her, even as he sat down. "Jai sir? What just happened with...Priya? Or is that Anjali?" Pushkar asked uncertainly. Confused, Bnai looked up, giving a confused yet cold stare at Jai. "Um..Anjali...I haven't spoken with Priya, Tara or Riya in quite some time" Jai said in a soft,embarassed voice. That earned him another cold stare from Bani. 'Who are all these women Mr Walia is speaking about? Ugh, he is a player!' she thought, lookign at him with disgust. She had never expected him to be this bad.
"Um, Jai sir, you remember Bani right? Bani Dixit? From the club?" Pushkar said, feeling the heavy tension between the two. Jai nodded and extended his hadn out to Bani. She just stared coldly at him. Slowly, Jai retracted his hand, feeling completely hurt by her actions. He didn't know why, but seeing the hurt look on Bani's face made him want to kill himself. He didn't know why she was hurt though, but he knew he didn't want her to reamin hurt for any longer. "Um, Bani? How are your brusies?" He asked softly. Bani's expression changed, so he DID remember! She smiled slowly, realising how idiotic she just acted, "Um, it's all better now, thanks for asking!" Jai sighed in relief, seeing her change of mood. "So, Pushkar, where's Pia?" Jai asked, making conversation. Pushkar snapped his eyes up to Jai, giving a sort of guily look. Bani too looked up suddenly. Slowly, she realised what was going on. She remembered how Pia had stared at Pushkar the entire night, how both were together that night. Bani realised she had made a BIG mistake coming here with Pushkar! "Um, i'm sorry if i said anything" Jai said, noticing the silence and hurt looks on both faces.
"No, Jai sir, it's ok!"Pushkar said in a high-pitched voice. "Um, Pushkar? I-I don't think I should have come here tonight." Bani said softly. Pushkar gave her a really hurt look. She lookedat both men, and ran down to the lake-side benches to call Pia.
"Um, I-I'll go talk to her, one minute!" Pushkar told Jai. HE made to follow Bani, but Jai stopped him. "Let me go, she probably wouldn't want to talk to you right now. Plus, i can cheer her up with my slapping incident" Jai said with a knowing smile. Pushkar couldn't tell Jai no, so he nodded dumbly, watching Jai head off behind Bani. He folded his arms,a dn twidled his fingers as he remembered when he first saw Pia, then when he had arrived for Bani. He now realised that there was a hurt look behind her happiness and joy, and he felt extremely bad and guilty, for hurting her! He decided that he would talk to Bani, tell her about Pia, and talk to both of them and try to come to some decision.


OKKK....I CHANGED UP SOME STUFF!! THIS PART WAS REALLLLYYYY LONG! PROMISE I WILL POST NEXT PART VERRRYYYY SOON... HOPE IT MADE SENSE THOUGH! I DONT KEEP A COPY OF IT, SO I CANT LIKE KEEP RECHECKING TO SEE WHAT HAPPENED AT THE BEGINNING. So i'm sorry if there is some mix ups...but i'm not feeling well also, i have a high fever and stuff! hope u guys enjoyed this part!
