I promised a long and action packed episode, but I'm a bit busy, so please bear with me. But for compensation, here is an episode anyway. This is all I could type.
EPISODE 41
Ranveer and Rashi are following the waiter to their table when Ranveer spots Jasmine. Not wanting to upset Rashi, he doesn't react and just keeps quiet. They are seated a few tables away from Tarun and Jasmine's.
Ranveer and Rashi are sitting in such a way that Rashi's back is to jasmine's table while Ranveer is facing it. (Ranveer hasn't actually seen Tarun.)
Same with Tarun and Jasmine. Tarun has his back to his sister's table while jasmine is facing them.
Out of the corner of her eye jasmine sees Ranveer glancing at her occasionally. She smirks evilly again and now openly starts flirting with Tarun. Batting her eyelashes, flicking her hair, smiling sweetly, etc. (Picture her character to be like Rakshanda's in the show.)
Rashi: (Snaps her fingers in front of Ranveer's face) Ranveer, tumhara dhayan kahan ahi aaj?
Ranveer: Voh⌠kahin nahi. What were you saying?
Rashi: I was talking about Roshni. (Ranveer instantly stiffens and he throws a quick glance at Jasmine) Don't you think you're a bit harsh on her?
Ranveer: (Stiffly) No.
Rashi: (Sighs) That was then Ranveer. Thori si narazgi theek hoti hai, but not talking to her for two years is really pushing it. Theek hai. Maybe it was wrong of her to say that jasmine leaving you was a good thing, but maybe she had a point. You have known your sister all your life; do you really think she would lie to you like that?
Ranveer: I tried to clear this issue by asking her didn't I? And Jasmine was so hurt by the idea that she left me.
Rashi: Maybe she didn't want to be caught.
Ranveer: What do you mean?
Rashi: I mean that maybe Roshni was right and jasmine just needed an escape before she was discovered.
Ranveer: Why would she need an escape?
Rashi: (Exasperated) Think Ranveer. If, let's presume, I accuse you or ask you about an accusation that you knew was false. What would you do? You would be upset at me for not trusting you, and maybe not talk to me for a few days. But if your feeling for me were true, would you leave me forever? If what Roshni was saying was all a lie, then why did Jasmine react like that? And Ranveer, don't you trust your own sister? The same one you have known all your life. Do you think she would make up such a big lie because she generally didn't like Jasmine? As far as I know her, Roshni is not a judgemental person Ranveer. There has to be some reason for her extreme dislike for Jasmine. What do you think that could have been? And if the reason was different from what she told you, why would she make such a thing up rather than just telling you the truth? Don't you think that even a fraction of what Roshni said could have been true?
Ranveer was listening to all this silently, thinking hard. Deep down he knew that Rashi was right. He was not fair to Roshni. He didn't give her a chance at all. He didn't trust his own sister.
Ranveer: (After a long silence) I think you're right Rashi. Maybe I was too hard on Roshni.
Rashi: Will you make me a promise?
Ranveer: Yes?
Rashi: Talk to Roshni. Communicate with her. She really loves you Ranveer and she really wants her brother back. Not too much if you don't want to, but at least acknowledge her presence, respond to her.
Ranveer: (after a few minutes of thinking) Okay.
The tension eases from Rashi's face and is replaced by a radiant smile.
Ranveer looks into her eyes and smiles too. He reaches across the table and holds her hand.
Ranveer: Waise, has anyone ever told you?
Rashi: What?
Ranveer: You're beautiful.
Rashi smiles and blushes.
Jasmine is still openly flirting with this hunk when she glances over at Ranveer's table. She sees him looking into Rashi's eyes. This made her mad. How the hell was he ignoring her?
MeanwhileâŚ
Roshni entered the house with her food and absolutely no emotion on her face. She put the packet of food on the table and walked up the stairs to her room. She sat on her bed
and picked up a picture in a frame from her nightstand.
The picture featured an 8-year-old boy who was feeding a 7-year-old girl a ladoo. Her mouth was too small for the huge ladoo, but he was stuffing it in. he was doing this with his right hand, which also had a fancy blue rakhee on it. This was a picture of Ranveer and Roshni.
As Roshni sat there looking at it, a drop of water falls on the smooth glass. Followed by another, and then another. Then Roshni hugs the picture to her chest and cries. Cries like there is no tomorrow.
She cries about all the past hurts that Jasmine has given her, about the two years of silent treatment from her brother, about seeing Tarun kiss Jasmine, about everything. Just cries.
Seconds, minutes, even hours pass, but Roshni is sitting in the same position crying her heart out.
MeanwhileâŚ
It is 11 O'clock and Ranveer and Roshni have finished dinner and are now in Ranveer's car and Ranveer is driving.
Rashi: Umm⌠Ranveer, can you take me to your house?
Ranveer looks at Rashi and raises an eyebrow.
Ranveer: Really?
Rashi: Yes Really. I need to see Roshni.
Ranveer: (Disappointed) Okay.
Ranveer drives straight to Chopra residence.
When they enter the first thing Rashi sees is the packet of food sitting on the table, cold and untouched, bought some 4 hours ago.
Rashi whispers, "Oh no." and runs straight to Roshni's room.
What will Rashi find there?
Will Ranveer talk to Roshni properly now that he sees some logic?
