Ekta needs to know this basic stuf-------

Hi Folks,

Ekta and the writers of KS need to understand a few things that are needed to make a series successful and have a longevity. The rules are

1) Understand that the audience is intellegent. Every question that may come to ones mind has to be eventually answered.

2) You have to have at least one character in the series who is morally and ethically a good human being. The audience should be able to count on this person to do the right thing. They have shown Bani upto now being level headed about what is right and wrong. You cannot suddenly have her acting irrationally all of a sudden. Jai is also out of his character at this time.

3) Sometimes the series is too fast. Things tend to be rushed. Things dont happen this fast in real life. Go at a pace faster than real life but not so fast that that you dont give time for it to sink into the audience.

Like for insistence when Bani and Jai ulitmately decide to consumate their marriage. When that step was taken the characters should have taken more time to feel what had happened between them. The way the story should have been is a gradual change in the way they treated each other. Jai is shown to be a mature and intense person. Such a person will not ignore the importance of the event of the night.

4)When you show things that involve the law, the police or legal matters they have to be sound technically. They have to be credible. After a shooting or the explosion(like in the warehouse) should'nt there have been an investigation. Roshni was shown to be there at that time or that Sandy guy was there. Shouldnt Jai have done something, knowing that Roshni was behind the whole incident.

5) I am still not sure what kind of feeling Jai has towards Roshni. Does he love her. If not then why does he let her be so mean to Bani. Roshni is shown to say such nasty things to Bani and Jai is shown to just ignore it or have a smug face on.

6) If you have too many mean characters(Jigs, Ranveer, Roshni,Ranvijay) in the show and then show that they are not stopped by good people then it gets boring.

I am sure that there are other things that are needed to make this a worth watching serial. The bottom line is the audience is intelligent. Have a believable and intelligent storyline

well whatever u said i true, but after all its just a serial i know there a many loop holes in d soap but kya karein afterall its mayi's soap n uss ke serial mein kuch bhi hosakta hai.
v r really very intelligent coz even after the disappointments,srap etc shown i d soap v watch it happily n not only watchin we even wait for the next comin up episodes to know watz gonna happen next 😕

I agree with all that.. I know that Jai does not love Roshni at least.. he cant stand her, and nor can his family (unless its Jigs) .. and after reading today's update i am not sure if Jai really loves Bani... even though he is "emotionally dependent"... I hope he comes to the realization that he does love her and can not live without her..

Well I am not that eager anymore for the next episode. Even when I watch I am watching to find faults more. If this continues, I will be off of it for good.

I am already off - i read the updates and usually in no mood to see the visuals. Esp for the last 2 weeks, we have had only bombings nothing to look forward. I somehow was hoping that the separation part would not go thru, looks like we are going to left hanging on the brink again for a while.

i used 2 be really really eager 4 da next episode but now its like i dont care if i miss an episode lol but i still like it da things u sed r true specially bout da thing dey ave made bani's character totally different to wjhats she meant to be nd jai's character god it's like they have swapped over i mean if jai's character was like what it used to be confident, not a push over etc.. den he wouldnt be letting bani fight 4 his property nd none of wot was happenin wuld ave been apenin nd bani has turned in to jai being angry 4 too long toruring jai ( literally she is makin him upset etc.. torture to me lol) nd dats xactly wot jai did 2 her wen pia ran of wiv pushy nd stuff so 2 me it looks as if dye hsve swapped roles nd if bani wins da case soon bani will be jai da most richest woman lol 😉

The definition of soap is "something to watch while you send your Dimaag ghas charne" . Don't take the goings on so seriously. Just watch and enjoy and do not tax your brains. 😆
