Is abortion right?

I forgot to do my polling responsibility yesterday, so, in reguard to YESTERDAY'S update, is Pia right in her reasoning of having an abortion? Should there be a choice? Does it depend on the circumstance? Is abortion ethical?

if she thought they weren't financially on d right step to have a baby.. that they wouldn't be able to afford everything.. they should've waited.. but since she did get pregnant.. and wanted an abortion.. she should have had a calm/cool talk wit pushkar. he's her husband. he had every right to know.. so she did dumb when she didn't even tell him about the pregnancy and went and got an abortion .. very painful

There is no right or wrong to this question (poll).

For some, abortion is like killing / to others it is a personal choice due to circumstances. Some ppl think that adoption is the right choice, but remember, there are billions of children out there already that want someone to adopt them.

My personal oppinion is that I think if the Man and Woman are mature enough to have "intercourse" then they should be mature enough to take care of the child. Abortion should not be considered a form of birthcontrol.

I think she should have atleast told Pushkar and tell him why she wants to have an abortion. She didn't go any of that which is just 🤢

okay i am against abortion as a general idea...people may have several reasons for abortion, but to me none of the reasons are justified enough to result in an abortion!

So when it comes to Pia's abortion, I think it was a poor decision...but she's her own person, she has a right to her opinion. What i find wrong in her action is that she didn't tell Pushkar about it...if they had both decided together that they wanted an abortion then it's a different matter!

She should have told Pushkar, and gotten his opinion. atleast! 😡

So in general, if someone can't financially support a child - is abortion okay? In India, there a thousands of orphans - millions around the globe and yet not everyone can adopt one. Would you abort the child or have it live a hard, nameless life?

Guys...sorry to say this...but abortion is a really controversial and at the same time a purely personal matter...

Though we have rights to discuss our views, lets please keep in mind that there could be girls on this forum who have had abortions for any reason...lets please be sensitive of this issue...and express our views only in the terms of Pia as a character and what she did...not abortion in general

sorry - but i felt someone had to say this.

I for myself is totally against abortion but,to certain extend.Such as a woman shouldn't have a baby,if she was raped or if the ultra sound shows birth defects,that could make the childs life miserable in the future.
In Pia's case she made a poor choice,she should have discussed her options with Pushkar.Or she could have just used protection to prevent unwanted pregnancies 😡
