hey guys, sorry, i was out yesterday and today so i didn't have a chance to continue but i will write up the next part and post it up as soon as i can. 😉

Part 10:

Pia cries hopelessly into bani's arms, while bani tries to comfort her. She strokes pia's hair and hugs her tightly. 30 minutes have flew by, while bani soothes pia down.

Bani: it's ok, pia. Everything will be ok. You'll meet someone else. Forget about Vijay. (repeats herself over and over again)
Pia: I know, di. But it's just gonna take some time for me to forget him. I mean, I do still love him.
Bani: I know, pia. You do. But why would you waste your time on a guy, like Vijay? He isn't worth it, pia.

Pia wipes away her tears and exhales.

Pia: You're right, di. Why am I crying for him? I'm wasting my tears on an idiot!
Bani: It's about time you realize that. (making a joke)
Pia: (laughs while wiping away her tears) yeah.

Pia looks at bani with her dark red puffy eyes. Pia looks like a mess, with her hair in a ponytail, but flying all over the place, her nose red, and face looking pale. Bani feels extremely upset by seeing pia like this. Pia hugs bani and begins thanking her for helping her go through this.

Bani: I'm here for you, pia.
Pia: I know you are.

Jai enters into his house, which is pitch black. He tries to be careful not to make any noise to wake everyone up, but it is quite difficult because he can't see a thing in sight. He walks cautiously and knocks into a hard object and hits his right knee. Jai lets out a yell. The lights turn on immediately.

Aditya: (his hands on his hips) What took you so long?
Jai: aditya, you're up?
Aditya: Do you know what time it is?
Jai: (raises one of his eyebrows and looks at his silver watch) It's 12:00, why?
Aditya: Is this any time to come back home?
Jai: but, I was stuck in traffic. (defending himself)
Aditya: You don't have to lie to me, jai.
Jai: (opens his mouth to speak but is interrupted by aditya)
Aditya: (sighs) since I'm up, you might as well tell me what happened.
Jai: (confused) what do I have to tell you?
Aditya: what did you guys talk about?
Jai: nothing important (giving aditya weird looks) but I don't have to tell you this.
Aditya: yes you do, because I am your best friend, and you don't hide anything from your best friend.
Jai: (walking towards the stairs to go to his room) it was just a friendly dinner, aditya. We were just talking and having fun.
Aditya: (looks a bit disappointed) that's it?
Jai: yeah, that's pretty much about it.
Aditya: just as friends? …but-but I thought you liked bani?!
Jai: aditya, honestly, I don't even understand what I'm feeling for bani. Now, if you excuse me, I am very tired and am now going to go to sleep.

Jai runs up the marble stairs, leaving a confused aditya behind. He enters is shaded room and is hit by strong wind. The windows were open and the white curtains flying everywhere. He quickly closes the windows and keeps the curtains shut. Jai walks slowly to his bed, lies down, and wears a grin on his lit up face.

Early Morning:

Bani enters into the office exactly on time. She walks gracefully down the hallway, with her shiny hair flying behind, wearing a nice teal suit, and matching jewellery. Bani is greeted by many friendly people. As she is walking, she spots a familiar face. Bani squeals, "Tanisha!", and runs to her really good friend. Tanisha turns around on the mention of her name and sees Bani. Tanisha lets out a squeal of happiness and hugs a smiling bani.

Bani: What are you doing here?
Tanisha: What are you doing here? I thought you were in Mount Abu?
Bani: It's a long story. Do you work here?
Tanisha: yeah! It's been about a year now. What are you doing here?
Bani: I've just started working, today's my first day!

Bani and Tanisha catch up with each others lives and are intruded by a good-looking guy, about bani's age. He coughs to get Tanisha's attention.

Tanisha: oh, bani. This is my co-worker, Pushkar, and also a friend of mine.
Pushkar: (extends his hand forward) nice to meet you bani.
Bani: (shakes it) nice to meet you too, pushkar.
Bani: (talks to Tanisha) I need to get back to work, maybe we can get together later.
Tanisha: Hmm, what about we go somewhere on lunch break?
Bani: sure, I'd like that.
Tanisha: what about you pushkar?
Pushkar: uh,…sure.
Tanisha: great, we can all get together, you and pushkar can get to know each other, and you'll make new friends on the first day, bani.

Bani smiles at them.

Bani: that sounds fine, well I really should get back to work, before I get in trouble. I don't want to get fired on the first day.

Pia had told Rano that she wanted to be left alone for the day. Rano knew that something was wrong with pia, but respected her space and agreed. Pia came out of the shower, dressed in black sweatpants and a blue shirt, buttoned down with a white tang top underneath, her hair dripping wet. She looks like a dead body walking around. Not once did she smile today, she is expressionless today. Pia sits down onto her bed and sighs. Her mind keeps on lingering on Vijay, she tries to not to, but can't help it. She gets up frustrated and walks over to her bag and pulls out her diary, pictures, and letters. Her pink diary is a very private diary of hers which she had written down all her feelings of Vijay in, pictures of Vijay, and letters that she used to write to him. Pia opens her diary and tears out all the pages of her diary, then tears the pictures up, and then the letters. " if I am going to forget about Vijay, then I need to get rid of everything that reminds me of him," pia says to herself.

Bani pushes her food around her plate with her fork, not paying attention to it, her head resting on her hand. She listens to Tanisha and Pushkar talking and laughing, but isn't really into it. Bani had a fine day so far at work, everyone was impressed by her, and were all very nice. Pushkar and her had also started to become friends. So why would she have to have a reason to be so depressed? The answer to this is Jai Walia. Bani was looking forward to seeing Jai today again, but did not see him around at all at the office. "why am I upset about him?," bani asks herself. Tanisha and pushkar notice that bani looks a bit low.

Pushkar: bani, are you ok?
Tanisha; what's wrong?
Bani: huh?…oh, nothing.

Pushkar's cell phone rings and he picks it up. "hey, what's up? Where are you? ….oh, I'm sorry, I forgot. …well, Tanisha ….it just slipped my mind, tanisha asked me if I'd join her to lunch, so I-……..yeah, ok. Well, you're going to have to come over here and pick me up, because I came with Tanisha in her car…". Pushkar stands up and walks away from the table and continues to talk on his cell phone. Bani wonders who it is, but decides not to interfere. After maybe five minutes or so, pushkar comes back and sits down.

Pushkar: (laughs) I forgot that I had plans for today, I was supposed to meet up with a friend of mine, who has just recently just came to Mumbai. I don't know how it slipped my mind.
Tanisha: you are very forgetful, Pushkar. So am I supposed to drop you off there?
Pushkar: no, my friend's coming over to pick me up. He'll be here in five minutes. (his attention goes else where) ….or maybe now.

Pushkar starts smiling. He gets out of his seat to greet his friend. Bani turns around and watches pushkar walk across the resturant. She sees Pushkar hug someone, blocking her view of seeing who the person is. Pushkar steps out of the way, and Bani is paralyzed with shock. She quickly turns the other way. "What is he doing here?!!," she whispers to herself in disbelief.


i will post the next part later on, on sunday becuz i will be out all day Saturday. i hope you guys didn't find this part boring, i promise to make the next part better. 😉
