While replying to one of the questions the very accented interviewer asked Ram how different he is from the character he plays of Jai Walia! Ram, while explaining the difference, spoke that while Jai Walia is the sort of guy who wakes up at 5 in the morning and lands in his Office a 7 Am, he in real life is very lazy and extremely relaxed....

I was just wondering if Ram had completed his sentence in this way...

"Well Jai Walia is the sort of character who wakes up at 5 in the morning, lands in Office at 7 Am, comes back at 8 Pm in the evening, has his Dinner by 9 Pm and makes love to his wife by Candle Lights and flowing curtains at 10 Pm after she has been suitably drugged and intoxicated! And oh, get her pregnant also....You see, Jai Walia does everything in an organized, pre-planned and meticulous way and more often than not, it always bears the expected result, in this case a child!"😆

Btw, Ram said to always "Expect the Unexpected" with Kasamh Se and there would be twists and turns all the time! I thought that Ram spoke with great passion and depth about his character of Jai Walia, he seems to be as much in love with Jai Walia as Bani and we guys are!

Final Word, he has a terrific English (Very rare for Indian Television Actors), secondly he sounds very grounded and cool and thirdly I think the Interviewer was totally lusting over Ram!😆

Ram's good English and accent is attributed to his swanky Boarding School Background, as I mentioned before Sherwood College is one of the Oldest and Ultimate in Snobbery kind of Boarding Schools in India.....Amitabh Bacchan also schooled out from there, btw! Infact Ram mentioned this in his interview!

If you checkout the Sherwood College Website, you will see Ram's name in it, the year he passed out!

I really liked the way he described JW's character, he spoke with as much passion and love as we talk about JW! No wonder he portrays it so realistically!

Ok, you want to hear something else. I just gave a short interview / views on Kasamh Se and Jai Walia for a Newspaper (Same Journo Friend), it would be coming out on print very soon...Will post a copy of it here....with my name and stuff! 😳 I am just praying my hubby doesn't read my gushing over JW! 😆The article is on the New wave of Hindi serials hitting the tube which are different from the typical Saas Bahu Saga's!

😆 Oh I don't know how much of that will be edited and how it will come out in the final print.....I have just been quoted on KS and Jai Walia and Ram Kapoor....Just hope I don't end up sounding like an obsessed fool, which incidentally I am! Hey, its all thanks to that really sweet Journo Friend, the one who is getting our Interview Stuff arranged with Ramu!

Will surely post the article whenever it gets printed, by next week or so, hopefully!

Btw, I think Ram must have passed out school between 86 - 88! Just check out those years in the Sherwood Website!

Hmm just visited the site (couldn't find his listing though it did show in the search page)...wow the creme de la creme has been through there. I had heard of the up-ety snooty schools but this one even seems to beat those. Quite nice to see it produce nice down to earth ppl like AB or RK. Making their school proud.

And MT a big congrats to u!

yaar yeh Sherwood ke bande hote hi aise hain. Very atriculate and when they come out they are a group of young gentlemen waiting to take on their world. They are very well groomed... Their english is far too good!
And do i have to say anything about their dramtic club? The people who start off there go to make the finest actors the country has ever seen. They have their basic right!
U know which other Sherwood alumini i am talking about Who else can it be? 😳

some 2 years back Ram had hosted the ITA awards with Gautami... his accent was unbearable(not his english!). I rememeber having made fun of him so much. I think he was just back from US... that is why. Now the accent is phased out, thank god!

😆 I remember that.....He was awful! Even now, his Hindi is a little spaced out, it is not all that good and even while giving the SBS Interview, he kept lapsing into English!!!

But I find his Jai Walia accent to be perfect! But no doubt that his English is far better than his Hindi! He sounds awesome when he shouts in English or tries to explain something to Bani in the Queen's Language!

Prachi is not very confident with her English Diciton, she is good, but not as good as say, Roshni Chopra or Rakshanda Khan!

Yeah mt I agree…his voice was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sexyyyyyyyyyyyy, he doesn't sound that sexy in KS I have to admit! I surely had a buss when I heard his deep husky voice!! Too good ramu…keep that sexy touch on!!!!

And yes that interviewer kept making funny sound affects whenever ram would finish talking!!! I swear she was getting excited!!! Lolz

I just have one thing to say: I LOVE RAM KAPOOR (AND JAI WALIA)...................
