For a moment the world stood still. The wind stopped blowing. The sea stopped flowing. The earth stopped spinning. Man beast and bird held their breaths and stared at the good Doc 'Am I dreaming? Or is he?'
The Walia family stood speechless. Mausiji literally stopped breathing stopped living her right hand jutting at a strange angle, frozen- brilliant! Seema Bhargav I cannot prise you enough.
When you receive the biggest grandest shock of your life your brain refuses to acknowledge it. The pain the trauma is so abrupt that your ability to expression of the same becomes numbed. You know the pain's there it will hurt later but now it's only sleeping. Your brain is busy trying to fight a losing battle with your heart and vice-versa. There are so many things attacking your reason, so many so much that you just become a vegetable. It is easy to cry and rant out your grief and give a loud expression to your feelings like Jigyasa's but the most difficult is to portray the silent shock, stunned disbelief like that of Mausiji's. Too good Seema! I have always loved you but yesterday onwards I am just clean bowled! You rock! Jigyasa just cannot believe it. She won't.She pushes the others and rushes forward as of to grab the doctor and demand he tells them it's not true. The others are just plain bedazed.
So is my Munna alive and kicking or not? Or is this some overimaginative brain's sick nightmare or not?
Before we go there a brief note on how they handled the whole thing. The very first scene and we are shown that sick bulb blinking outside the OT. I wished it would just burst. The worried faces waiting anxiously and Jiggu; the loud one beng consoled by Mausiji. Beautiful very touching scene. Jiggu is genuinely concerned about her big brother who has almost been like a father to her. Yet you wonder is this the same woman who will stand at nothing to see that all his property is enjoyed by her children alone? Who will go to the extent of even making his life loveless and wife and childless just to meet her own selfish ends? That's the beauty of this show that every character is portrayed as a mixture of blacks and whites never only white or only black. You cannot help but feel sorry for Jigyasa, in spite of all her scheming, in spite of all her terrible deeds. Actually the credit must go to Ashwini and the scriptwriters for having made this character very human. Jigyasa is the type who cannot feel guilty for long. She has to shift the blame to somebody else. And why not expecially if the scapegoat herself walks in to her in the form of the foolish Rano? 'Aa bail mujhe maar'! I mean what's with these Dixit sisters? One talks too much. One hardly. The other's is the perfect timing! I loved it when Jiggu grabbed Rano and barked at her. I wish she had eaten her up. She almost did had not Rano run away.Gosh! What guts Rano! Calling her "Mummyji"!It's cruel I know but I found this scene really funny.My good Jiggu, you indeed are the wild cat of the Walia mansion.Typical of her to blame the sisters for their misfortune. I believe she'll blame them for even her terrible taste in make-up!What a woman!Everyone else is taken aback they don't know what to do. I am surprised she didn't get a seizure or something. I would have gone mad and hysterical. Gosh! Rano congratulations.You have no idea what a narrow escape you have had. I liked Sahil's protective attitude towards Rano when she's in his mom's death grip and after. He pacifies a sulking Rano who thinks she is manhoos. Disgusting attitude. This is the twenty first century and yet we harbor nonsense like this.
But this is very realistic. When our loved one is on the brink of death, we invariably go on a guilt trip. All our faults, the injustices we meted out against them become glaring and we yearn for an opportunity to set that right though if we are given it I am sure our past sins will only get doubled! Even Jiggu wails that her bro is angry with her and thinks she is buri but when he is back she will kaan pakadke ask for his forgiveness.Aww so touching. Of course compared to the JB hug the SR hug is nothing but it was touching all the same especially with the 'Jab koi baat bigad jaye' in the bg. Though I want my screen to be filled with J/B JB all the time I think I am not averse to being reminded now and then that other characters exist too.
Gosh! When did the bhoot from 'Bhoot' make its entry in to KS? Pia looked uncannily like the bhooty struck Urmila from 'Bhoot'. For some reason everytime Raaga looks at Pushy she is reminded of a schoolboy with his face pressed against the glass of a sweet shop. Gosh this guy can act of course but can dance too.Saw him in KSKBT.Funny sequence but Naman you surely going places.You are the dark horse. Remember I am the founder of the MCP(Male Chauvinistic pig) inc? Naturally I like men to behave like men offering their strong (At least giving the impression even if your wife can smash it in one go!) well built arms and shoulders to their delicate flower creeper like wives and the women behaving like women; fragile and foolish, eyes full of admiration for their husbands even if they are otal lo(o)sers and behave like they are lost without his strong chest to lean on! Pushy's dialogue of how Munna supported him and how he cares for him felt so phony. No warmth. Maybe this is a hint that Pushy is only play acting? Whatever. Nice to see Pia a new leaf besotted by her husband. So funny this is the same couple who slapped each other(Well almost) and threatened each other with gaalis like 'Main tumhara muh thod doonga"! Amma learn something from your sister. But not too much!
The one man who has turned your life upside down in one jhatka. The one man who is the beginning as well as the end of your life. The one man who can excite your most primal passions. The one man who has destroyed you, made you an emotional cripple. The one man whom you want to forget and just get him out of your system. That one man is now suddenly back in to your life. 'Jai Walia shot at. Condition critical.' How would you react? If you are Jiggu Kitty the whole world will know how you feel. But you are Bani. That is why you are in hiding, in the first place. I am more than impressed with the way Prachi has portrayed Bani's sense of shock here. When the news first hits her, her hands tremble. They want to grab the paper yet hesitate like they want to dismiss it as not possible. And still want to get hold of it. That's the clue to what Bani's feelings regarding the matter. Imagine you love and trust somebody more than your life, expecting nothing in return and he turns out to be your mom's murderer. Worst blow is you discover you are carrying his child. Will you be in a position to take sensible decisions? Will you be in the state to react correctly? Especially somebody like Bani who has always been quiet about her inner feelings. Main reason why my Munna still thinks he is oppressing her. Shock after shock numbs you. You become a stone and unfeeling. You still feel the pain but you can no longer express it. Bani's eyes are floded with tears and her body language more than conveys her shock and grief. Pushy is so sensible so cool headed. He patiently tells her all that happened and leaves her to herself. Vey sane guy. I am proud of you dear. Like a son he is silently taking care of the entire Walai family. What ever happens, he will be there like a wall. Bani is so lucky to have him for a friend. Pia too that she has realized her blessings. Once he goes away, Bani grabs the paper and stares at her manmeet's photo, shedding the water that can flood the whole world. Right now her emotions are saturated. Hopefully she will buck up, get a hold on herself and make Munna and us proud in these difficult times. This scene was beautifully portrayed. Her recollecting their most precious moments. See the essential difference between men and women where their emotional quotient is concerned. Munna when nostalgic recollects those moments when their feelings were natural and they were at their comfortable best. Need not essentially include the bodily union. But Bani always recollects their most private moments together like their kiss on The night and other intimate moments when they were emotionally heightened. Lovely scene this. The dardnak 'jiya dhadak dhadak' and Bani's white face, the tears - Ouch! So poignant. I was really moved. Reminded me of Titanic. I just hate it when lovers get separated especially when the separator is death. So cruel!
Ouch really. One thing is she may say what she likes but Amma loves him like crazy and can never hate her husband now or ever. She just proved that. Prachi that was good acting. Like Mausiji you silently conveyed your distress.
I give up. I just cannot understand Jigyasa. I suspect she herself doesn't understand herself. She is the queen of motiveless malignity. What heights her spite can take is unbelievable. And what heights our super cops' idiocy can take is unfathomable. Makes me dizzy like I'm looking down from the top of the Himalays above another Himalayas! I mean Jiggu wants to give a statement and they take it? Aditya comes and tells them not to, they don't? Like faithful pet dogs? Shouldn't they question the validity? God help me. But I found it funny the way Aditya actually suggests that Jiggu has lost it and she growls through clenched teeth "Aditya"! She'll make a fantastic Police doggie I tell you. Maybe Aditya is right. She has really lost it. She is an imandaar criminal. She will only strive for her bhaiyya's celibacy. She will only drive away his women and chances of his begetting a progeny. But hurt even a single hair of his? Na na thauba thauba! What I wouldn't do to have a sister like her.

She will tell him he has to ahem Raashi then Voila in no time! Son I suggest you go back to kindergarden and pay attention to the lesson called 'Parts of the human body'. In fact even take special coaching so you'll discover a very useful part of your body called the Brain' made up of grey (Yes like the grey in your Bholenath's sacred ash) cells which will get sadofied if not used regularly. BTW just look at Jiggu's expression when Swami jumps to her aid when she is being cornered by Aditya. Really sorry for my cute Swami. She has just brainwashed him so she will always have a permanent ally.Sonny wake up wake up before you find yourself in the same boat as your poor Mamaji.
Wow. So Mayi is now in to promoting wigs? Look at the reporters. Wah wah. What a classic display of different kind of weird hairdos and cartoons. Way to go Mayi. How about displaying your glove collection as well? White Black maybe striped and polka dots too? We so dearly love variety. Aur you have made us such KS addicts that we will complain but still watch even fishes and Dolphins plotting and scheming while you torture and bedraggle my poor darling duffer Munna and treat us like we are a retarded bunch of cretins. Now to the question the answer to which is gnawing at our hearts, nagging us, giving us sleepless nights; is our Munna ok?
Well! This cannot be answered in a simple 'Yes' or 'No'. Can it?
Let's turn over the facts. Munna has been shot at. No denying that. Why? And out of the blue? And it looked like the idea of killing him was conceived only when Bani's missing ad appeared in the newspaper. Somebody took advantage of the situation. Black gloves is to show us that it cannot be my sworn enemy; Sandy Bhalu.(Gosh! Am I actually missing him?) And this certainly has to do with the Park road mystery. Somebody wants this under the wraps. Munna has to be put out of the way because unwittingly he has some knowledge which can be dangerous to the actual killer. Something that should not become known to Bani. Munna has become a threat only after he disclosed the raaz to Bani, thanks to dumb Cobra. This almost certainly proves that Munna is innocent and is only a scapegoat where the Park road mystery is concerned. I still believe that the dead woman is not Kiran Dixit. Or maybe Munna's car hit only a corpse. I am highly suspicious of Papa Dixit and Papa Cobra.
Now the 'gentleman' who lured Munna to that godforsaken place- I don't think he knew Munna was going to be killed. I think he was paid to bring Munna there but was as much shocked to see the gun as Munna was. Our knowledge about what happened there is limited to what Pushy has told us. He might be and I believe he is holding something back. According to him Munna was lying alone in a pool of blood. Didn't it look like the blood was around his shoulders? I think the golis hit only the shoulders and not the vital organs. And Pushy's behaviour is highly suspicious. He is too calm. Too collected. A person who cares so terribly about his godgfather so emotionless? Nah. This guy has something up his sleeve. He has a major role here and why he is Mayi's favorite! When he was talking to Bani it almost looked like he was coaxing her to come up with her true feelings. And he says he admitted Mr.Walia in the hospital and nothing further. Like it's almost a secret. I don't think anybody else knows he was the one who brought Munna to the hospital. Aditya thanks him for his support "Tum yahan aaye yahi bahut hai." Why pray? And why haven't they taken any statement from the guy who brought Munna to the hospital that is Pushy? Or maybe they are withholding it? The Police and Pushy are together in this? Maybe a plan to get the real killer? Also the Doc initially says it will take 20 hours observation to say anything. But he suddenly announces Munna's going away? Suspicious. Maybe Munna regains consciousness and instructs the Doc to say that? The Walias are busy fighting with each other. The press is busy hounding the hospital staff and the Police. Who will know about Munna?
Fine. But how will you explain the body? A corpse cannot be just conjured out of thin air. Only one solution remains. A man did get fatally hurt in that encounter. And as a result died too. Who? Munna? Nah. The man who lured him there. Two golis. One in to Munna hurting him but not fatally. The other in to the gentleman jobechara ram ram satya ho gaya. Pushy takes them both to the hospital an dmaybe Munna regains his senses on the way and tells him what happened. Maybe Munna even recgnised the killer. They hatch a plan to get him. Or maybe Pushy and the cops hatch the plan. They silently shift Munna elsewhere and announce his death. The guy who actually died can pass off for Munan you know. Stocky and thick eyebrows. Maybe with some effort, some maiming of the facial features, they can do that. That will explain why they haven't shown Pushy giving a statement. Or maybe Munna was not hurt at all. He ducked an dthe other guy died. Pushy comes running in time an dthe killer runs away. Remember the scene was shown only through Pushy's eyes. The actual events have been left open so they can always cook up a kachumber. I almost believe this si what can have happened. In fact I think the creatives themselves have not exactly decided on a definite course. They just have built a rough sketch of how they are going to take the story from here. Depending on the reactions of the audience and Ram's comeback, they will shape the story accordingly.
Maddening thing is we have no precdent. KS is so different from the other K soaps. It does have Mayi's touch to it and yet it is sparkingly different. Six months are over and the main leads have never slept with anybody else. Their characters have not been butchered. Evil has not exactly succeeded. There have actually been marriages! Just one pre-marital affair and that too ahs been legalized. Yeah. Ah an extra marital affair too- JB! But we loved it and we don't grude it, na? So you cannot really compare Munna with Mihir or Kavya. And Jia Walia is so vastly different from her other wimpish heroes. We cannot really say but the indications are that he is safe and sound. RK has been sent off on a break. When he was suddenly taken ill they sent him to Pune but it didn't gel with us. Prachi and the rest are awesome but they cannot really shoulder the show without RK. In fact KS is drab without either RK or PD. So, how do they sustain the interest without RK? Simple. Kill him off and keep the audience busy grieving and nursing their shock, cursing Mayi and expostulating weird theories that they will hardly realize how the time flew without the main lead!
Zor ka jhatka zor se lagna mangta hai Bhai! Brilliant an dingenious! The KS team must be laughing their heads off watching us graon and pray and curse. Now I guess there will be lot of melodrama with the entire Walia family grieving and flashbacks of our beloved. Gosh! Mayi always has these funny flashbacks with the characters recollecting their past. Weird looking kids! Imagine munnaand Jiggu as kids! So funny. Amma will have to empty her tear banks and the sad version of 'Jiya dhadak' playing on and the lovely JB moments, Bani being accused of Munna's murder and of course somebody playing James Bond, Sherlock Holmes, Hercules Poirot all combined together. Will it be Amma? Or Pushy? Or someone new? I remember that funny inspector from Kahiin kissi roz. Ho funny he is the inspector, DG, detective, all in one! Funny. I am being very unkind but I hope Bani repents big time. I hope Jiggu puts her in Jail. No I take that back but I am so irritated with her.Why couldn't she have just left the Raaz alone? Poor chhota Munna and me Munna. I hope this gets resolved fast. KS is going to be very gripping full of events today and next week. Gosh I hope they don't sho us the antim sanskar. I believe they will and Jigu will not let Bani take part in the funeral. Mausiji please do some jadu like always. I want her back in the house. Ouch iT's going to be very painful watching her grieve for Munna. Ouch! I hope they don't do something foolish like bringing him back as some other character. So silly. I remember a Dharmendra movie where the whole world believes he is dead and he disguises himself to find out his murderer.
Gosh imaginemunna in a dhadi an moustache an dsporting some fancy name like J.J. Kalia! So funny.I am sure we can count on KS to provide us with crap nonsense to laugh upon enough during such potentially serious situations.
Though it will be so romantic to see Bani falling for this new guy while trying to fiercly remain faithful to her husband and Munna making the most of it! But No. I prefer they show at least us the viewers that Munna is ok and the Walias think he is allah ko pyara ho gaya. I am not complaining though I am not sure how I am going to manage with me Munna and watch Bani crying her heart out. Ouch. Very painful but this too will pass and hopefully the sick Park road mystery will see an end forever. I want Munna back to take care of Bani when she's in this halat. Come back soon Munna. This should have been in the press by now. Maybe they were able to cleverly hide it. That doesn't mean a thing. Even if the papers announced about Munna getting bumped off I wouldn't worry too much. Our reactions will decided how they take it from here. If Mihir can be brought back this is My Munna we are talking about! I am pretty convinced he is ok.
Gosh! I just cannot wait for today. But I hope they don't give us an overdose of Swami and his mom. Yuck her lipgloss. Somebody wipe it off. If she's going to hog the screen then the gloss must go. I hope Mausi will not get a heart attack or anything like that. She looked like it.Maybe that's how Amma will be back? Ouch there's going to be lot of melodrama. AwwwwMunna, please come back soon.
