Ranveer narrowed his eyes, anger boiling up inside him…

Raashi: I'm so glad you could make it Ayush!

She beamed at Ayush and took his hand leading him further in to the hall where guests were chatting away…Ranveer watched with displeasure as he said something to Raashi but due to the noise he had to lean in closer, his hand resting casually on her midriff as he whispered something in her ear…by the way Raashi was laughing it was obviously something funny, though Ranveer was far from amused…he stopped a passing waiter and grabbed a glass of whiskey, drowning the drink in one gulp; not once taking his eyes of them…

Raashi looked over Ayush's shoulder and smiled towards Bani who had just come down the staircase, looking absolutely gorgeous in the red sari her and Anu had picked out for her the night before…but she frowned as she saw Bani's flushed face…was it that hot upstairs?!

Raashi: Ayush….I want you to meet someone…

She steered him towards Bani and was just about to make introductions when…

A: Bani?!

He rubbed his eyes, not believing what they told him…it was definitely Bani but what was she doing here in Mumbai….and…wow….she looked hot!

Her eyes widened in surprise and her face broke into a smile…

B: Ayush?!!….OMG!!

A: You in Mumbai?!

B: I thought you were in London!!

A: What….is that a mangalsutra….Bani your married?!

Raashi burst out laughing, breaking the tirade of questions that were being exchanged between the two…

Raashi: I though I was here to make introductions!!

B: Oh sorry Raashi….this is Ayush…we grew up together in Mt. Abu and then he left for London…

Raashi nodded…Ayush himself had told her that but she had no idea Bani aunty was from there as well!!

A: So you're married?!

B: Yeah…to Jai Walia!

He gaped at her…opened his mouth to say something but then shut it again, obviously dumbfounded…Bani laughed…

B: This is his nieces and nephews wedding…

A: But how did all of this happen….and I mean you didn't even invite me to your wedding….and where's Pia and Rano?!

B: It's a long story Ayush…after papa's death us three came here and then one thing led to another…

Ayush was stunned….so much had changed and he wasn't even there when his best friend needed him…

A: You should have told me before….I would have been able to help you…

B: No Ayush…we pulled through fine…and besides we ddin't have a contact number…as for Pia…well, she's married!!

A: What?!!

He ran his hand through his hair and commented in a sarcastic manner…

A: Next you'll be telling me I've come to Rano's wedding…

Bani and Raashi exchanged amused glances…

B: You tell him!

Raashi watched the two as they caught up on old times, feeling a little left out from the conversation but happy all the same…she turned round and her eyes locked with Ranveers'….she knew he had been watching her since the second she had come down the steps…and his stony face told her he didn't like Ayush being there one bit…something red on his hand caught her attention and Raashi realised that he'd smashed the glass he was holding…the red was actually blood which was dripping slowly down his hand unnoticed…

Excusing herself – though Bani and Ayush barely noticed her leaving – she rushed over to Ranveer and grabbed his right hand…

Raashi: Ranveer, where is all your attention?!….and your hand…OMG…

He looked at her as if in a daze and not wanting to create a scene, Raashi led him towards the spare bedroom downstairs and brought the first aid box after sitting him down on the bed…

She uncurled his fist and winced…the cut was deep and blood was everywhere…she cleaned it up with some water and started to apply antiseptic, knowing he was in pain but not showing it…

Raashi: I can't believe you just stood there…do you know how deep this!!

R: Why was he here?!

She chose to ignore his question and continued dabbing the wound but Ranveer pulled his hand away…

R: Raashi…answer me!!….did you even notice he had his hand on your waist…or maybe you did but didn't want him to take it off…

He was standing up now, his voice sarcastic with a cold edge to it…She sighed and got up as well…

Raashi: Ranveer…he's engaged!!

R: What?!

Raashi: Yeah…and anyway, Jai uncle said I could call anyone I wanted and he was the only other person I knew…so I gave him the invitation and he agreed…can't I have friends, who happen to be male?!…is that how much you trust me?!…I guess now you know what I felt when I say you with Priya…

He looked away from her feeling guilty and stupid…She took his hand again and finished dabbing the antiseptic before bandaging the wound…she broke the silence a while later…

Raashi: Has anyone ever told you how cute you look when your jealous?!

She looked at him grinning, mischief dancing in her eyes…

R: I wasn't jealous…

Raashi: Yeah yeah…

Both of them burst out laughing and without realising Raashi rested her head on his shoulder…when she looked up his face was barely inches away and they were wrapped in silence once more...feeling awkward, Raashi tried to get up…

Raashi: maybe I should…

But he stopped her and enveloped her in a kiss that lasted for eternity, but was still to short…

Jai reached the bottom of the stairs and looked over the crowd of guests, searching for Bani…she had broke away and rushed out of the room half an hour before when the giggling from Anus room had brought them both back to their senses…There she was, he smiled but it soon turned into a frown as Jai noticed a man beside her…they were laughing and smiling and their hands were entwined…They looked a little too comfortable with each other….

Ok...now i know this didn't have a JB part in it....but the Ranveer and Raashi bit was longer than I expected.....so sorry for that guys!

Also......i know where i'm going with this Fan Fic, but if you guys have any ideas, please share!😛
