It's a damn simple story...not too complicated...!!! Inspired by two weeks' notice, I don't know how many of you watched it; it's damn hilarious with Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant (He is so cute). I hope you guys like it!!!
IMP: Just today I have already started penning an intense, very dramatic story. I am desperate to write something edgy, I read about Big B's Teen Patti...where he is a maths genius who devices a specific algorithm and always wins...I would like to write something like that, like jai an aimless wanderer and gambler, Las Vegas (my dad has gone there for some work and he loved it), gaming, gambling, cards...a pretty heroine, Hollywood style...a racy edgy story...please give me definite story, I will do the rest...that is if you all want to read something like that!!!!

Bani swapped the channels...not a single program was worth watching, on the news channel the reporters were shouting their lungs out about a case happened two decades ago...while on the entertainment channels the fair and dark girls wept like anything, she still couldn't understand the point...and movies bored her to death...frustrated she switched off the television... she yawned...the unexciting Sunday was coming to an end, tomorrow again the rigmarole of office would begin...though she loved her work...but yet sometimes she had this maddening urge to run away leaving everything but again the passion for her work was too high to surmount...the very next moment she would be finding something interesting to conquer... she got up, leaving for her room to hit the bed when the calling bell rang... she glanced at the wall clock, it was 11: 30...wondering who it could be in this hour she peeked through the peephole...her eyes widened in horror...
"JAI!!!" she shouted pulling out the latches... opening the door with a thud...
"What happened, everything's okay??" bani said hurriedly seeing her boss cum good friend giving her an impish grin, standing awkwardly, with his one palm covering his left eye...
"Hey...I just came to wish you good night..." jai said barging inside...
"Jai...what the hell are you doing here???" bani said coming inside, closing the door...her hands firmly cast against her chest...not buying his lame excuse...
"What...can't even I come to wish my good friend good night..." jai said sheepishly...his one hand still covering his left eyes... bani glared at him...
"Jai...!! Why are you covering your eye...?"
"Oh!!!Just like that...I felt like..." jai widened his smile...bani rolled her eyes, sting on the couch...opposite him...
"Stop this over-acting of yours and tell me what happened??" bani covered her mouth with her hands, letting out a small scream as jai sat goofily, exposing his bruised left eye, it was completely swollen, turning blue-black...
"Oh jai!!Let me put some ice...GOD!!!" bani fumbled getting up clumsily, picking up some ice cubes from the freezer of her fridge, tying them in a soft cotton cloth which took her almost five minutes to search...
Almost ten minutes later she sat near him, gently dabbing his eye socket, blowing over it...as he pretended to be brave like nothing happened...
"Easy bani...Ahh!!!" he yelped as she pressed a bit harder...
"Sorry..." she said apologetically...
"Did you get into a fight...??Tell me I will see to it that they are behind the bars..." bani said venomously...
"Don't take your law too seriously bani...I know you are my lawyer but...I don't want her to go to jail...and specially wearing those striped jail clothes...she will look so ugly..." jai said trying to open his left eye...bani immediately removed the ice-pack...
"HER!!! A woman punched you..." Bani sat aghast...jai flashed her a smile, showing off his pearly white teeth...
"Well...Meera..."
"Meer...Meera Khandelwal...the designer something..." bani said recollecting having heard about her, of course from jai, he was dating her 'currently' and his currently lasted for a maximum of two days..
"Yes..."
"She assaulted you...Wait till a slap a harassment case over her...let me write a complaint..." bani got up, picking up her glasses... she angrily stomped into her room getting a notepad and a pen and started scribbling... ...
"Bani...dear...wait...it's not like that..." jai tried to stop her...
"You are so kind jai... how can a woman abuse you physically yet you want to forgive her...oh jai...I am so proud of you...for the first time in my life..." bani admired him for a moment then getting back to her scribbling...
"BANI...listen..." jai snatched the pen from her hand...
"What???"
"Actually...I broke up with her..." jai said unsurely...
"That's even worse...just because you broke up, she hit you...oh!! That's so insensitive..."
"Bani!!We went for dinner...it was her birthday and I forgot...and during the dinner I told her that you know....I am breaking up...I...she was silent for a moment...and then she pounced on me...and punched me hard...I later remembered that she has a black belt in karate..." jai gulped down, seeing the change of expression on bani's face...
"YOU broke up with her on her birthday..." bani said unbelievingly...
"Unfortunately I did...I didn't remember that it was her birthday...then I would have broken up with her tomorrow..." jai said, seeking logic...
"I would have killed you!!!!Meera just punched one of your eyes... "bani angrily threw the ice-pack on him, which by now was melted...
"I...didn't mean to...it just happened..." jai shrugged his shoulders, stroking his sore eye with the cold cloth...
"You are shameless jai and here I was sympathetic towards you...I should have known better..." bani gave him a disgusted look...
"Don't puke on me....I am sorry but I can't help it..."
"And why precisely did you break up with her..."
"Because she wanted to get married to me and have children...Jesus...I was mortified when I heard her planning the color of her trousseau and names of our virtual children..."
"You are impossible...when will you learn to respect women...I just hate you...get lost..." bani fumed...
"I thought you are my friend why are you behaving like those feminists who burn their underwears...shouting for equality..." jai said appalled...
"Even I am a woman if you have forgotten that is..." bani looked at him accusingly...
"Really...let me see..." jai scanned her appearance...she was wearing loose pj's with a colorful picture of Spiderman printed on it...
"Apart from physical dimorphism...I don't think you are anywhere near being a woman..."
"What do you mean...???" bani gritted her teeth...
"Women don't wear such hideous looking pj's...they wear....some silky...lacy...satin lingerie... preferably see through..." jai said dreamily...her notepad came flying and hit his head...
"You are so cheap...exit my house now...!!"
"Okay...I am going...oh I just came to ask, are the details of the new project ready, paa is coming back from Australia...and he will be asking me so..."
"Ya they are ready..." bani said she had finished it ages ago...
"That's why I love you...fruitcake..." he winked at her...
"Don't you dare call me that again...I not an eccentric" bani took hold of his hand, twisting it...pushing him towards the door...
"A person who works 24x7 non-stop and has ZERO s*x life...is undoubtedly a nutcase..." jai laughed as bani stood by the door...
"Bad night...may you have terrible nightmares..." bani hissed, slamming the door against his face...
