Finally done with the exams, it's EVS on 6th which I don't consider as a subject. How silly can people get, teaching evs to electronics students!!!!! Indian education system ka kuch nahin ho sakta.
Bani is not dumb, if you remember before she was a very know-it-all kind of girl but after what happened, she is just down of confidence and esteem, she has become a different person, she thinks herself as a mother to Krishna before than a wife to jai, but aage aage dekho...!!!!

A Few Days Later... ...
Bani looked on, sitting on the sand, building a castle... it was Sunday and jai had taken them to the Juhoo beach... the sun was still in the sky...the evening sea breeze ruffled her hair, tied in a ponytail...masi had refused to come owing to her knee-ache, masi had turned into a manic, obsessed with her son and daughter-in-law's marriage, she left no stone unturned to embarrass both of them, throwing them in awkward situations, and in the school Mrs. Rao ate her brain regarding the 'good news'... 'You should think before it's too late, Mr. Walia is not getting younger, and moreover you are at the right age... I tell you...' she felt like diminishing somewhere when Mrs. Rao gave her advices free of cost before all the staff...
She waved back as Krishna waved her hand, playing in the water with her father, thoroughly enjoying herself...she couldn't help but steal glances at jai...he was in a t-shirt and shorts, the shirt now completely soaked, exposing his chest...though not the perfectly chiseled body, but he looked fitter... he jogged every morning, she didn't know that until a few days ago when she caught him running around the house, he got up along with her and she would be too busy with Krishna to notice anything else... "You are his wife bani..." she remembered masi's words... yes, but he made no advances, he talked to her now, asked her about usual things, she knew he was concerned for her...but after that...nothing more...he was yet to accept her as his wife, she knew it...maybe he was finding it difficult to adjust to this new phenomenon, he was married once and lost his wife, of course he would have his own reservations... bani still hoped that this relationship which was bound by Krishna would metamorphose into something beautiful... at least she believed it would, before it was because of Krishna but now she wanted it for herself, she wanted to be happy again...
"Mamma...come..."Krishna came towards her panting, pulling her...
"No...beta..." bani refused...she was not quite fond of water...
"Papa bula rahen hain, mazaa ayega chaloo naaa..." bani saw jai gesturing with his hands her to come...she got up...
"Main paani main nahin aaoongi..." bani said with a dreadful expression...
"Arre, bani kuch nahin hoga...come..." jai extended his hand...
"Nahin..." bani said moving away...Krishna was splashing water over her...jai grabbed her hand...pulling her into the shallow waters...bani almost screamed, skidding, only to be held by jai...he steadied her making them stay afloat...
"Mujhe tairna nahin aata hain...oh god..." bani muttered, holding onto jai...who laughed along with Krishna seeing her so scared...
"Bani main hoon na...koi bhi shark nahin le haayigi tumhe..." jai said teasing her...
"SHARK!!!" bani's eyes grew big... she pushed him with her might, wading through the water, going to the shore...
"Arre bani...main mazaak kar raha tha..." jai shouted from behind, but she just fled...

Bani dried Krishna's hair with the towel...making her wear fresh set of clothes...
"Ab jao khleo..." bani patted her head...she tied her hair up, going towards her room...to see jai's wet clothes heaped in a puddle on the floor along with sand granules, water oozing out of the soppy clothes...
"Hey bhagwaan..." bani picked up the clothes...the bathroom door was open, she just barged in...
Jai was inside the bathroom; whisking off the sand from his body, clad in just a towel...bani dumped the clothes in the laundry basket not realizing jai was also there...jai turned the shower on...only to be taken aback by bani cursing him...
"Yeh Mr. Walia bhi... gande kapde zameen pe phenk diya aur yeh shower bhi on karke pata nahin kahaan chalegaye...Krishu se bhi chote hote jaa rahen hain..." bani was muttering to herself, turning around to close the shower when she froze seeing jai standing under the shower giving her an amused look...the shower spilled some water on bani...
"Aap...yahaan..." bani uttered in disbelief... he felt a warm sensation gush inside him seeing her partially wet...her hair tied in a bun with tendrils of hair falling over her face...
He walked towards her in slow steps...bani kept staring at him, her feet glued, she didn't realize when he held her and was leaning over her...his face just inches away...bani jumped at once hearing the shrill ring of the phone...
"Pho...phone... ..." bani escaped his embrace...and caught her breath only when she heard the bathroom door close...before she could answer the phone it stopped ringing... ...
Jai stood under the shower...letting the water cool down his nerves...what was he up to...he thought to himself... 'Bani is your wife...' a forlorn voice in his head spoke up... he washed his hair with the shampoo...it felt good to hold her... ...

Bani checked the list...it was Krishna's birthday in two days...and she was so excited as they would throw a party, jai was a bit reluctant but he couldn't say no since Krishna insisted...bani's eyes fell on the date...yes, coincidentally it was the same day when she had lost her child...her face clouded...but she cheered herself up...it was her Krishna's Birthday...
"Tony...go to the market and get all these things...fast..." bani ordered tony, trying to think of how to decorate the house for the party... in the evening jai had promised them to take shopping...

"Krishna jaldi bolo beta..." jai urged his confused daughter, she was not able to pick her dress, saying the blue one once and the pink one the very next moment...
"Ek kaam koro dono hi pack kar do..." jai said to the salesman giving up...
"Ji Sir..."
"Hogaya aur kuch baaki hain..." jai asked...
"Doll...badi waali..." Krishna said...
"Kitni sari doll hain aapke paas..."
"Nahin please papa... ..."
"Okay..."
Going into the toy section, Bani selected a very cute doll for Krishna...clearing the bill they came out...bani looked around the mall, taken in by the vastness of it...her feet were already aching... ...her eyes fell on a gorgeous pink sari displayed on the shelf of a designer showroom...
Jai stopped finding bani to be nowhere, he turned back to see bani standing, her eyes fixed on something... he saw where she was looking...
"Bani..." he called out...
"Ji...aayi..." bani quickly came towards him...
"Bohot der hogayi hain...ghar chalen..." bani said catching up with jai who was walking swiftly...
"Haan ek minute..." bani saw jai entering the showroom which she was watching...
"Mr. Walia...aap kahaan jaa rahen hain..." bani said but it was too late...
"Please...that one..." jai was already talking to the woman at the counter...
"Please pack this...thank you..." jai gave his credit card...
"Papa...yeh kiskeliye..." Krishna asked...
"Mamma ke liye beta..." jai answered taking the bag...bani's eyes popped out...
"Wow...kitna sundar hain..." Krishna looked awed...
"Mr. Walia..." he pretended to ignore her causally...

Bani sat before the mirror, clad in the sari jai bought for her, she couldn't recognize herself...she ran her hand over it...the first gift from her husband...she saw jai knotting his tie... looking at her from behind...
"Itni kimti sari hain, main toh bas aise hi dekh rahin thi..." bani said... her heart-beat quickened as she saw him come near her...
"Tum se zyadaa kimti nahin hain bani..." he whispered, casting a spell on her...
"Chalen..." he said straightening... she stood up...he glanced at her...her eyes, there was something sad about them today, he made a point to ask her later... ...
"Where is the birthday girl...??"

Jai looked around, the party was almost over, only few of his family friends were hanging around, talking gaily... his eyes couldn't find bani anywhere, she had gone to put Krishna to sleep...Krishna was tired so bani had taken her up after bidding goodbye to all her school friends before they left... it was almost an hour and yet she hadn't come down, everybody left one by one, escorting them out jai came inside... tony was cleaning up...with bani's thoughts occupying his mind he went towards Krishna's room... he had never celebrated Krishna's birthday, they only went to the temple in the morning with masi, but it felt good to see Krishna so happy... and the reason being bani...he needed to find her...thank her for all the happiness and joy she brought with her...wanting to tell that he had started seeing her as his wife...as someone he would want to know more...and maybe give this marriage a chance... ...he wanted to tell so much but words failed him...and bani...where was she...he frowned not finding bani in Krishna's room...he walked into their room, it was dark, he closed the door, finding bani standing by the huge window...her form had almost merged with the darkness with only the faint moonlight throwing light on her face, making it shine... his heart fluttered...he had this sudden upsurge to hold her in his arms...he slowly walked towards her...
"Bani... why are you here...all alone...niche kyun nahin aayi..." he asked, his hoarse voice crashing against the stillness of the night...bani kept mum, continuing to stare into the empty night...he heard her hiccupping... ...taking a closer look he discovered tears flowing down her eyes...concerned...he held her shoulders...
"Bani...what happened...why you are crying... bani did anyone say anything...bani...please tell...bani..." he rambled, a second later he found bani fall into his arms, her head resting against this chest crying like a child... broken into pieces...
"Bani...please tell me...what happened...??" jai instinctively cradled her in his arms...
"My child...I lost her...today..." her plowed words hit him hard...Oh God he hugged her tight...
"Banii...sshhh..." he rubbed her back...
"Your child has gone nowhere bani...it's here, in Krishna...with you...she is looking from above, and she won't be happy to see her mamma cry..." jai said releasing her, lifting her face, wiping her tears...
"Really..." she said, catching her breath...
"Yes...bani really...she has become a star...the brightest star..." jai said cupping her face... bani turned to look into the sky sparkling with stars... yes, she must be somewhere...
"Now stop crying..." jai kissed her forehead...calming her down... ...as he was about to leave her she held his wrist...instinctively...
"Krishna will never leave me na..." she asked...
"No...Bani she will never leave you..." he assured her...bani tried to smile...
"And you..." she asked gently...jai kept staring into her watery eyes...
"No...Bani...I...I will never leave you..." he didn't know from where, but the words just flew out of his mouth...like an impromptu tune by a singer... ... mindlessly he bent down, softly kissing her lips... only the fighting noises of their breaths echoed in the silent room...his lips left hers...she blinked her eyes...moving away from his hold she blindly walked, sitting on the bed...her legs drawn up...he stepped towards her in a trance...reaching her... holding her...undressing each other...his hands cupped her b****ts…moaning lowly her hands slipped around him, adoring him with her touch, he sighed deeply making her lay down...Even in the midst of his need she felt the tenderness in his approach…He stared deeply into her eyes, searching for signs of restraint, but saw only leaping arcs of bashful blooming desire, he kissed her impudent lucullan lips, now ravenously…they perspired heavily as the sodden bed sheets stank of the explosive ecstasy of their first passionate encounter as a man and woman… She sobbed copiously clenching the sides of the pillow in extremum despair as his lips protractedly kissed the lined silver marks from where her child had been brought out... ...
"Sshh...baniii..." he muffled in a velvety brusque voice, moving up...holding her face, as he entered her...bani gasped, letting out a scream of gratifying pleasure and pain holding him tighter... closer to herself... ...

Bani struggled to move...feeling herself to be trapped by something, she lazily opened her eyes, foggily staring at jai who was in deep sleep...she realized her state as she found her naked body compressed against his...her legs entwined with his...she was almost over him...slowly the events of last night filled her mind...alarming her, surprising her, but in the end leaving her with a mushy feel...her husband had loved her, someone had loved her and maybe she had loved him back too, she wanted to believe that, she did desperately believe that...with great difficulty she untangled herself from him... picking up his shirt, the jaded heady scent of his perfume mixed with his odor filled her nostrils spiking her senses as the silk of his shirt came in contact with her skin, she quickly wore it, looking at the time, it was seven, she was late...hastily picking up the mess which was lying around, their clothes, her jewelry...she tidied the room leaving for a warm bath... her heart hammering against her chest thinking of what would jai tell her... how would he tell her... her mind stopped functioning... ...and even if she tried she couldn't hide her silly smile...
As bani filled her parting with the red vermillion, today it really signified who she was... her eyes fell on jai's reflection, taking deep breaths, his chest moving up and down rhythmically... she stilled as she saw him move, trying to open his eyes...jai squinted his eyes, spreading his hand trying search for the warmth of her body...he sat up feeling the empty space beside him...his eyes straight fell on bani who was standing facing the mirror... their eyes locked through the image on the mirror...before anyone could react, Krishna barged in, still in her pink night dress...calling out to them loudly...
"Papa..." Krishna jumped over the bed... jai made her sit on his lap...glad at the fact that he had his bottoms on...
"Good morning sweetie..." he kissed her cheek...seeing jai half-naked Krishna's curiosity got better...
"Papa...no clothes...shame shame puppy shame..." she sang innocently...jai turned red, looking at bani who had now turned around, facing them... he fumbled with his reply...his eyes set on bani, as she averted her gaze, suppressing her giggle...
"Woh...papa...ko garmi lag rahin thi..." he finally managed to blurt...
"Chalo Krishna...brush karo chalo...late ho rahaa hain..." bani was his saving grace as she called Krishna before she could start with her questionnaire...bani picked her up, taking her to her room... ... the smile on his face didn't leave him all the day... ...
