JB got married.

Nice to see how comfortable Jai & bani adjusted with their new family. As for their relationship .....waiting to see how it comes along.

JB married already and Bani is aready fitted into the roe of a housewife taking care of the house and being a perfect mother.

Awwwww she wants to have her own child with Jai. How cute?? Hoping for JB's relationship to progress with some romance.

Jai is awkward of the whole thing----- completely understandable. It will take some time for him to get used to the idea of being married again, that too, so spontaneously. Bani, on the other hand, is completely enjoying motherhood now and Krishna is loving the idea of having a mother. The pair are extremely cute. Wonder if Jai will catch onto any further similarities between them any time soon. Wonderful update like always--- can't wait for the next part. 😃

Wow Just caught up. Bani was the one to propose. That was a big surprise. And looks like hubby dear is not immune to the charms of his wife. Also is Krishu Bani's daughter. You know her mother too found similarities between the child and Bani. Just wondering. And is the past of Bani going to make a reappearance. Waiting to see how now how Bani and Jai are going to come close to one another.

Jai hurried through his morning chores, he had over-slept...he scuffled down the stairs to find Krishna and masi having their breakfast, all ready...

"Good morning masi..." he said seating himself... picking up his newspaper...bani came and served his breakfast, just as he liked it everyday... Tony must have told her...

"Chalo, mujhe mandir jaana hain Mrs. Bhatia ke saath, main chalti hoon...bye Krishna..." masi got up leaving...

"Thal maine saja diya hain masi..." bani came handing her the pooja thali...

"Thank you beta..." masi patted her head, leaving...

"Ismail will drop you both to school, I need to rush a bit..." jai got up, gulping down his juice...

"Ji..." bani nodded...

Jai bent down pecking Krishna...

"Bye beta..." he said...

"Mamma ko..." Krishna said munching her sandwich...bani looked horrified while jai felt discomfited...

"Aapne mamma ko good-bye nahin kiya..." Krishna said almost ordering her father to bid good-bye to her mother...

"Krishna...papa ko der ho rahin hain..." bani intervened...

"Jaldi jaldi good-bye karo papa..." she pulled the end of his coat...with no option left jai leaned towards bani...slightly brushing his lips against her cheek...

"Good-bye..." he muttered... fleeing... bani's heart-beat dipped...she glanced at Krishna, she was happily eating, the naughty girl...bani smiled to herself...

His light touch left a trail of goosebumps on her skin...which stayed with her all day... like a breeze running over a paddy field... ...

Jai entered the house to find it unusually silent...he took a look at his Rolex watch, it was way past ten... all must be asleep by now... he walked towards his room when he heard noises... coming from Krishna's room... he slowly went towards her room to find the cutest picture in front of him... the T.V. was on with a cartoon channel running, bani and Krishna were on the floor...Krishna was spread out irregularly over bani sleeping while bani's head rested again the bed dozing off... her hands securely wrapped around Krishna... it was so adorable and natural that no one would ever believe that Krishna was not bani's daughter or vice versa... he walked in switching off the television...he stealthily went towards them...picking up Krishna with utmost care... placing her on the bed...

"Aap...aagaye..." he heard bani's drowsy voice...

"Hmm..." he turned around, to see bani adjusting her sari...

"Umm...woh meri aankh lagayi hogi..." bani said lamely...

"Aap fresh hoke aaiye...main khaana lagati hoon..." bani said going out of the room...

"Tumne khaana nahin khaya??"jai asked surprised as he saw bani putting two plates...

"Woh..." bani wetted her lips, not wanting to confess that she was waiting for him...

"I... forgot..." bani blurted... piling his plate with food...

"You forgot..." jai felt like laughing at her stupid excuse...

"I..." bani sat down, stuffing her mouth with food...her stomach growled with hunger...

"Bani...don't tell me you were waiting for me..." he laughed... tears filled in her eyes... he was mocking her, bani blinked her eyes...

"Everything is silly for you isn't it...?" saying she simply got up, disappearing inside the kitchen...jai sat dumbfounded in his seat... he felt guilty, here she was waiting for him to have dinner together and he, had he become so insensitive or blind that he couldn't see bani putting her best effort in this unsorted relationship...he felt like a complete jackass, so many years he was so used to this loneliness that suddenly there was a wonderful woman who cared for him, and he hurt her... ...

He got up going into the kitchen, to find her standing with her back to him, holding the sides of the sink...he neared her...

"Hey...bani...I am sorry... I didn't mean it that way..." jai said sincerely...

"I was trying to tell that there was no need to wait for me...kabhi kabhi bohot late hojata hain... so... I didn't mean to hurt you..." he raised his hands to hold her...after some apprehensiveness he held her shoulders and turned her around...to see her downcast face...

"I am sorry..." he lifted her chin...

"I am feeling hungry..." she said scrunching her nose which was puffed red by now...

"Come... let's eat..." he smiled...

"Krishna..." bani called out, spreading her hands, they were playing in the garden, Krishna had blindfolded her, now she had to catch her...

"Mamma..." she heard Krishna's voice...

"Kahaan hain Krishna..." bani kept walking searching for Krishna...

Feeling something she held it tightly...removing her blindfold...

"Pakad liya..." bani shouted...only to realize that she was clutching jai's hand who was looking at her intently, he was early from his office...Krishna clapped her hands coming towards them...bani hastily let go of his hand...

"Papa out..." she said gleefully...

"Ouch..." bani whimpered, feeling something prick her foot...

"Kya hua..." jai asked...holding her...

"Pata nahin, shayad koi kanta chub gaya..." bani said, shutting her eyes...

"Chalo baitho..." jai lead her, making her sit on the bench...he kneeled down; reaching for her foot...bani drew her feet backwards...

"Kya hua...dikhao...kaanta nikalna padega na..." jai said confused...

"Nahin...main kar loongi..." bani misstated...

"Arre kaise karogi dikhao..." jai was now losing his patience... Krishna stood holding bani's arm...

"Woh...pati apni patni ek pair nahin chute...ma kehti hain..." bani said...jai shook his head, suppressing his smile...

"Kya bachpana hain bani...chalo dikhao..." jai literally snatched her foot, examining, he slowly pulled out the small thorn from her heel...

"Ahh...!" bani yelped...

"Nikal gaya...ab chalo andar...andhera ho rahaa hain..." he held bani's wrist, helping her get up...

"Krishna chlo andar..." jai said...

"Aur bhi kuch kahaa hain ma ne pati, patni ke bare main..." jai said with a straight face, looking at bani, there was mischief in his eyes...

"Pata nahin..." bani said, averting her face, smiling...

A Few Days Later... ...

Masi smiled peculiarly as bani entered the house, carrying a pile of books...

"Kya baat hain masi..." bani asked seeing her so happy all of a sudden...

"Arre, batati hoon...tum dono fresh hokar aao..." masi said...

"Aap bhi na masi..." bani smiled...

"Chalo Krishna, room main, mamma aa rahin hain..." bani went to her room to keep the books and copies...

"Sky main blue color karna...aur ped main green..." bani told Krishna...as Krishna filled the colors in the drawing...

"Ji masi...kya baat hain..." bani asked sitting on the sofa...

"Jai ne phone kiya..." masi said all excited...

"Toh..." bani didn't get what was the reason to be so happy...

"Sun toh...usne tujhe taiyaar rehne ko kahaa hain...kahin bahar le jayega..." bani sat surprised... he could have called her; instead he told masi...how convenient, she thought...

"Jaldi jaa... taiyaar hoja..."

"Theek hain...chalo krish..." she was about to call Krishna when masi stopped her...

"Hey bhagwaan iss ladki ka kya karoon main...meri ma, manti hoon ki krishu teri beti hain par tu jai ki patni hain..." masi said stressing the word patni...

"Haan toh..." bani asked looking at her blankly...

"Bani...apne pati ke saath bahar jaa rahin hain...mujhe bhi leke jaayegi kya..." masi said satirically...

"Haan...aap bhi chaliye...sab jaayenge toh acha lagega..." bani said not understanding her point...masi slammed her forehead with her palm...

"Pagli...jai aur tu akele...baat karo, ek doosre ko jaano...jab dekho dono Krishna Krishna karte rehte hain...tum dono pati patni ho...yeh toh pata hain na..." masi said, finally sense dawned upon bani, she turned red...

"Samajh main aaya...ab jaa jaldi..." masi shoved her, bani got up thinking about the evening ahead, they both alone, what will they talk...

"I was going to call you...but I didn't have your mobile number..." jai said as he drove the car...bani bit her lip, and there she was unnecessarily thinking something else...

"Oh!!!" soon the car halted in front of a posh restaurant 'Olive' embellished in green...

"You own this also..." bani asked coming out...jai closed the door...

"Yes I do..." he said proudly...

"Kitne restaurant aur hotels hain aapke..." bani asked as she followed him...

"Pata nahin...I don't keep count..." jai said looking back...

Bani looked puzzled reading the menu card...

"Mujhe ya toh Hindi main ya Enlgish main menu card chahiye warna main nahin khaoongi..." bani said closing the menu card keeping on the table...jai laughed throatily...this restaurant only served European/Mediterranean cuisine... ...

"Kaise naam hain...logon ko samajh main aana chahiye ki nahin...naam aisa hain toh pata nahin khaana kaisa hoga..." bani said making a face... looking around the interiors which she loved...again there was no one around, they were sitting in a private section, the lighting was dim with ornate tall lamps adorning one corner, a soft tune playing in the background...there was no sea but they were at a height, with the sparkling sky looking down at them through the transparent glass window...the stars blinking shyly... ...

"Main order karoon toh chalega..." he asked, amused by his wife's child-like behavior, she looked exactly like Krishna at the moment, sulking over something...

"Only vegetarian..." she said gazing at the open sky... ...jai placed the order...

"Wine..." he offered...bani shook her head in denial...

"I don't drink..."

"You can look at me, I don't look that bad..." jai said watching bani immersed... stargazing... bani blushed turning to face him... he gave her a long look sipping his wine, she was not worldly sophisticated, unlike sonali, but there was this tremendous honesty about her, whatever she did was from her heart and that made her special... indeed very special...

"You look nice..." he said, his eyes scanning her appearance, she was clad in a black sari embedded with white stones with simple danglers, bangles tinkling in one hand while the other was bare with just a wrist watch, her mangalsutra and sindoor in place...

"Thanks..." she uttered softly, a bit self-conscious... the food arrived shortly...

On the contrary bani really enjoyed her food...appreciating the cook...

It was late night when they reached back home...

"Thank you Mr. Walia...it was a lovely evening..." bani said with a smile playing on her lips as they retired to bed...
