Part 1:

In WGI' Jai's office'

Aditya: Yaar Jai'. I was just wondering why don't you take Bani along for the Goa project' She has been working with you on this project from the start.. If anyone can assist you properly and if anyone has the right to be part of this project its her' What do you think about it' Anyways I want her to go for another reason'. She should again start living her life' Its high time'

Uday: I agree with u Adi Beta'

Jai: OK Papa, Adi' Let me just cal and ask Daksh' You know na its important for him to say yes first'

At that moment the door to his cabin and Daksh entered'

Jai: Aaare aao Daksh' I was calling you'

Daksh: Hi Adi' Hi Jai' Namaste Bade Papa' Regarding the Goa project I guess' I also wanted to talk to you about that' I have checked all the legal integrities' Here is the file'

And kept the file on the table with a smile'

Jai: Actually apart from this I wanted to ask you something' Actually me and Aditya were thinking ki' . Will it be okie if I take Bani along with me to Goa' You know she has been a part of this project from the beginning and she knows this project better than anyone of us'

Daksh was silent for awhile and then said: Though I don't like her travelling alone after that incident' But.. .he gave a thoughtful look to Jai and continued.. considering the fact that you will be there its fine' But you need to ask her'

Jai: Don't worry with me by her side I wont let any harm come to her'. Let me call her in' He dialed Bani's no. and asked her to come in..

Bani dressed in a pretty salwar suit came in' She was a beauty who had a smile on her face always but only those who knew her well could see the sadness that was in her eyes'

Bani: Hi Jijus (She called Adi Jiju too') ' Hi Jai' Namaste Bade Papa'

Jai: Bani sit' She took a seat near her bro-in-law' Jai continued' Bani as you know I will be going to Goa day after tomorrow' I would like you to come along with me as you have been part of this project from the start' Chalogi mere saath'

Everyone were waiting for her reply'

Bani went silent for a while' Jai was a very dear friend of hers' Working as his PA had been Daksh's suggestion and a good one' It helped her a lot' Mainly it kept her engrossed' She didn't wanted to tell him no' She was at a loss on what to do' She looked towards Daksh asking his suggestion'

Daksh: Gudiya' Don't look at me' It has to be your decision'

Bani looked at Jai who was looking expectantly at her with a smile yet again offering her his hand of friendship to help her out' She smiled back at him'

Bani: Ji' I will go'

Everyone let out a sigh of relief'

Jai: Great' We will leave day after tomorrow' Leave the arrangement's to me' you take today and tomorrow off' I will arrange everything'

Bani: No its okie' I will do the arrangement's and then go'

Jai: Why do you have to argue with me' Kaha na I wil manage' Off you go'

Daksh: Jai is right' I am also going home' You coming with me' Saying so he got up' And both Daksh and Bani left for home' They stayed next to WM'

Jai: I will go and make all the arrangements' Apart from the fact that this project is important to me' I want this trip to go perfect for Bani' I will finish this work and head start home' You and Adi start for home' Saying so Jai left his cabin leaving Adi and Uday behind' Both silent and thoughtful

Uday: I know you are thinking what I am thinking Adi Beta' and trust me beta me and Krishna will be the happiest person if that happens' I want Bani beta to be happy again' What happened wasn't her fault' She deserves her share of happiness' And I know she will also bring calmness to Jai's life'

Adi: All I know Papa is Jai is the only person who can bring back happiness to Bani's life' And somewhere deep down he likes her too but is scared to admit thinking that he will hurt Bani' I just hope the reason why I suggested this trip' This trip helps us in that context'.

Uday:Amen to that' You are a very good friend beta' God bless you' Lets hope for the best' Chalo lets finish this piece of work and then head home'

Part 6:

Day One in Goa… Jai and Bani had just entered the villa that Jai owned in Goa… They had lunch on their way…

Jai: Bani this is your room… Make yourself comfortable… If you need anything ask Joseph, he looks after this place… Rest for awhile… We will have dinner with the Sharma's at their hotel at 8 which means we wll start at 7.. Okie..?

Bani: Yeah sure… J and she went to her room…

Jai went to his room… He was very tired… He hadn't slept the whole night… All he could think about was Bani… He knew there were many girls who had fallen for him when he was in college but he had never felt this pull for anyone… This force that attracted him to Bani… The feeling that made him want to protect her from all the wolves of the world… Thinking on these lines he fell asleep…

It was 6 when Joseph came to wake him up… He got ready in 15 mins and went downstairs to wait for Bani.. When he saw Bani coming downstairs… the sight took his breathe away… she was looking like an angel in the white sari she was wearing…

Bani saw Jai lost in his thoughts when she came and stood in front of him.. she waved her hands in front of him to get his attention…

Bani: What happened? Where were you lost?

Jai: You are looking like an angel… J and smiled at her gently…

Bani blushed and looked away shyly…

Jai: Shall we leave…

Bani: Ji…

They reached at hotel sharp at 8 pm… Sharma's joined them about 5 mins later… They were doing the construction of Walia's new resort in Goa… They had dinner and discussed about the project and discussed abt the few last minute things…They decided to meet tomorrow morning for a final closure of the project so that from next week Walia's could start the functioning of the resort… It was about 10 when they decided to take a leave…

In Jai's Car…

Jai: Would you like to go to beach?

Bani: Sure…

The beach was filled with people yet they managed to find a place for them to sit and enjoy the view…

Bani: Its so peaceful over here… I can sit the whole day here and not get bored… Can I ask you something Jai….

Jai: Sure…

Bani hesitated for a while…

Jai: Come on Bani… I thought I had made it clear that you can ask me anything… I don't give that right to everyone but just my special friends and you are one of them… and smiled tenderly at her…

Bani: I know… Jiju ones told me you sing well.. Will you…. I mean…. She stammered she didn't know what made her ask him do that… She just knew she wanted him to sing… She had once listened him sing… It was a very soothing feeling… She liked to spent time with him… She was so scared of her feelings for him that she didn't think about them… She knew she liked him a lot but she also felt that he deserved better…

Jai smiled at her and said: You want me to sing a song… Right?

Bani just looked away…

Jai: I meant every word I sang dear… You are a very special person.. What happened in the past wasn't your fault Bani… You deserved better… You deserve better… Life is beautiful… Live it to the fullest…

Bani: I must have done something wrong… said something worng that's why he did what he did… she said in a small voice… it was the first time she had voiced her thoughts… Else why me…

It broke him to see her like this… All broken and with so much lack of confidence…

Jai: It wasn't your fault… Get that in your head… He is a sick man… And he is responsible for his actions not you…

Bani just sat there with her head bend listening to Jai wanting to believe him… but…

Jai: Look at me Bani… Look at me when I speak to you…

She looked up at him with tears in her eyes….

Jai: If you value me even a bit you will never shed a tear because of that ass…

With the tip of his fingers he wiped her tears… This made her cry more… She hadn't cried that day… She had bottled up everything inside her and tried not to react she knew if she was sad or depressed it would hurt her family more… And she knew when Daksh was pissed with something he could be very mean if he wanted to… But right now her she felt very vulnerable…

Jai: Hussshhh dear… Don't cry… And took her in his arms… Please don't cry you don't have any idea how it hurts to see you like this… Please Bani stop crying… Right now all he wanted to do was go and strangle that ass for doing this to her…

Bani wiped her tears and looked at Jai: I am sorry… But sometimes I feel so tired with this life… I don't want to live anymore…

Jai: Don't say that Bani.. Do you realize how important you are to many people… your sisters… all they can think about is your happiness… Daksh… he lives for you guys… Papa Ma consider you all their kids… and me… I love you Bani…

Bani: What… and just stared at him…

Jai: I am not feeling pity for you or trying to you a favor or solving a lost case… What I said and what I am going to say is the true… I value my parents the most in this world… I swear on them when I say I love you.. I love you from the bottom of heart… I love you because you are beautiful… I love you because when you are with me you make my life beautiful… Daksh and Adi are my best friends… But with you I feel more than friendship… I want to protect you from everyone and everything… I want to give you all the happiness in this world… I want to grow old with you… I want to father your kids… I want to share my thoughts with you… I want to see you before I go to sleep and when I wake up… I wont force you Bani… I don't know if I am worthy of you… All I know is I cant think my life without you…

Bani just stared at him.. She didn't know what to say…

Bani: I am scarred Jai… I am broken and all dark and twisty within… Its me who is not worthy of you… You deserve better… Do you even realize what you just told me… Have you ever thought of the implications… What will people say… What will Bade Papa and Badi Ma think… Don't do this Jai… I don't want to be the reason for everyones misery again…

Jai: Crap… Ma Papa… will be the happiest in the world… And as far as people are concerned I care a damn.. I have given right to no one except my family and my near and dear ones have the right to question me… And I know they will be happy… I wont force you… But I want you to know what I feel for you… I will wait for you… And this doesn't changes our friendship Bani… I value it more than anything in this world..

Bani was speechless for awhile she didn't knew what to say…

Jai: Please promise me you wont forgo our friendship because of what I told you…

She just nodded her head…

Jai: You had a long day lets go home…

Mutely she got up and followed him… There was a complete silence in car throughout the journey back to the villa…

Inside the Villa…

Jai near her bedroom door said: Good night Bani… Please remember what I said… Nothing is more important to me than your friendship… And it will hurt me if you say no… But I will still be happy to be your friend… Your happiness is what is important to me… But if you say yes I will be the happiest man in this world… He came forward and kissed her lightly on her forehead…Good night dear…

Saying this he went to his room… And Bani just stood there looking at his retreating back… After awhile she went to sleep…

PART 2:

In Dixit-Singhania house…

Anamika: Daksh, why did you say yes… How can we let Bani go alone… Who will look after her there…

Anamika was highly agitated and the proof to that was she would start pacing up and down the room when ever she was in this frame of mind… and that's what she was doing now…

Daksh: Let her go… Anamika… She needs to start her life again… She needs to live again… Don't you want that independent and self-confident Bani again… I want our old Bani back…. I know how hard its for me to see the pain and fear in her eyes everytime I look at her… And I know its equally hard for you…

Anamika: Daksh I agree with all you say and that Jai will be there with her but….

Anamika came and stood in front of him and said with tears in her eyes….

Anamika: I am scared… I am scared of her getting hurt again… saying so she went into his arms….

After a lot of consoling from Daksh's side Anamika subdued…

Anamika: Lord knows what went wrong.. all of us were so happy before that dreadful day when tat incident happened at her college… I don't believe that an year and half as past since that day… It feels like all that happened yesterday…

Flashback:

Bani was pursuing her MBA and it was the day after her convocation had gotten over… All friends had decided to do a small get-together…. Everyone was having a galla time…

It was past 10 when Bani decided to make a move…

Bani: Aditi (Aditi Sharma …. A very dear friend of Bani and Aditya Bali's second cousin…)… I think I should make a move.. Its getting late…

Aditi: How will you go Bani…

Bani: Aditi… Don't worry I will call a cab…

Aditi: Wait na for a while… Me and Sid (Sid Saxena… her fianc: he was also a student with them) will drop you…

At that moment Sidhaanth (Sid) and Mohan (Mohan khandelwal… he was also in their class and their friend) came…

Mohan: If its okie guys I will drop Bani as it is her house is on my way to my Uncle's place where I will be staying tonight

Though Sid knew Mohan well but he was not in favour of her going alone with Mohan and before he could speak out his opinion Bani said yes as she didn't wanted Sid and Aditi to travel all the way as it was already getting late….

Bani: Seriously Sid its okie… once I reach home I will call you back…

Sid: Ok kid, take care and do remember to call… And Mohan drive carefully please…

After that Bani left with Mohan and sometime later Aditi left with Sid

Around 11:30….

Aditi started getting worried as Bani had not yet called and it was like her to be so careless and not call…

Aditi: Hi Sid

Sid: Hi… Wat happened dear… you sound worried…

Aditi: Bani hasn't called up yet and I have tried her cell so many times.. I don't want to call at her place and get everyone worried…

Sid: Okie I will be there in 15 mins…

It had been 30 mins since Sid came… He had called Mohan… but he wasn't replying… And Aditi was trying Bani's number…. By now Aditi was on verge of tears…

Aditi: Sid I think I should call Aditya Bhaiya….

Saying so she dialed Adi's no.

(Aditya and Jigyasa were married by then… )

In Aditya-Jigyasa's room

Jigyasa: Adi… your phone is ringing… who must have called so late… I hope everything is okie

Aditya picked up his cell and went silent…

Aditya: it was Aditi… it seems Bani is not answerin the phone and she had left the party at 10…

Jigyasa: No one is there at their place today… Remember… Pia is also staying at our place and Daksh, Anamika and Rano have gone to Mt.Abu…

Aditya looked worried.. He said: I asked Sid to come with Aditi… Because when Bani comes she will come here only na… and no use their staying there and getting worried….

Another hour passed before they heard a car stop in front of Dixit-Singhania house…. By this time everyone was up… Jai, his parents and Adi's mom… Sid and Aditi were there too…

Aditi and Pia rushed towards Bani's place followed by other's… What they saw there shook them to the core of their being… Bani could hardly stand on her foot and her clothes were barely covering her… Pia ran forward and hugged Bani…. And Jigyasa found the keys from her bag and opened the house…

Everyone was shocked and numbed… Ladies had taken Bani in… And Sid had called his sister Anupama… She wa a doctor..

Uday in a hoarse voice: Jai I think you should call Daksh and ask him to come back…

At that very moment Jai's cell phone rang…

Jai: Its Daksh…. Hi Daksh…

Daksh: Hi Jai… Sorry yaar to bother you at this time but Anamika was getting restless…She is worried about Bani… That's why we are returning back…. Could you just check for us if Bani is okie…She is not answering our calls…

Jai didn't knew what to say… He didn't wanted to lie to his friend… but this was no time to tell the truth… so he said: Don't worry… She is fine… She must be sleeping… I will go and check and get back to you….

Daksh: Thanks pal…. And saying so he kept down the phone…

Jai looked at his father and said: I couldn't tell him on the phone Dad…. Bani is like a sister to him… what should have I said… that your sister was raped…

Uday came near his son and held his son… There was silence in the room…

Anupama stepped out and came and stood in front of Sid… and said: Jai is right… I did some tests which confirmed what he said… Bani is very much traumatized I gave her some medicine so she is sleeping right now.. I will stay the night with her …. Saying so to Sid she went inside to Bani's room…

Sid was furious by this moment: This is all my fault… I shouldn't have let her come alone with Mohan… I should have known better dammit…. I swear I wont leave that jerk…

Uday: Calm down son… its not your fault… its neither Bani's fault…. And Mohan.. we will deal with him but lets wait till Bani gets a hold on herself… law will deal with him…

Adi: If we go to police then it will damage her reputation papa ji…

Uday: fighting for justice can never damage anyone's reputation son… and those people who think like that… I don't think we should be worried about them…

Adi nodded his agreement to this.. …

Jai: lets wait for Daksh's return…

And they all waited for the other s to return.. .

Part 4:

One week later that incident in Daksh's study… Jai, Adi and Daksh were sitting there…

Jai: What have you planned Daksh….

Daksh: I had talked with a detective friend of mine, I had asked him to find out abt Mohan and his family.. Daksh gave each of them a file filled with details abt Mohan Khandelwal and his family…

Both Jai and Adi were engrossed in reading the file…. Daksh was staring outside the window…

Adi: Too many loopholes in their business…. Strange they have survived till now….

Jai: Hmmm… True…. And then eyed Adi to look at Daksh….

Adi: What is it Daksh why you worried….

Daksh turned around and looked at his friends with a pained expression and said: Bani spoke today for the first time after a week…. She doesn't wants me to do anything and she wants to go and stay in our Mt.Abu wala house….

Jai: Atleast she spoke that's a good sign…

Adi: But we cant let her go… its not her fault what happened then why should she go and stay there in Mt.Abu…

Daksh: Yeah but she is not listening to anyone not even Annie…

Jai: Don't worry Mom and Sudha Mom will talk to her… They can put some sense into her head… And as far as Khandelwals are concerned don't worry we are with you…

Adi: He is right… If what I understood is right Senior Khandelwal has left 60% of his property to Mohan and rest is in his name and his daughter's name. Those 60% of property has hell of problems and if we strike now it will effect Mohan now both financially and on a business front…The report even says that Mohan is not even in talking terms with his parents and sister….

Daksh: You are right.. That's what I was thinking… and then he silently explained his plan….

Jai: Perfect… Lets put this plan into action you Daksh handle the legal matters… whereas Adi and I will handle it on business front… Now first let me call mom and tell her what Bani said…

That evening Krishna and Sudha came to talked with Bani…. It took them many hours to make Bani understand their view point… Atlast they managed to convince her to stay back…

2 days later …

Headlines of the newspaper was "Mohan Khandelwal and the fraud's that his company has committed". Mohan was arrested on a non-bailable warrant. Daksh had seen to it… And the judge handling the case was very strict… Everything was going to be in their favour now… Had he put him under rape charges he would have been jailed for 7 yrs and Bani's name would have had come into picture… Which Daksh didn't wanted… He knew how dirty such cases could become and how manipulative the opposite party can become and how the victim gets hurt in the process… It wasn't as if he was against filing a case against Mohan on rape charges… It was just that he had got to know that the business was Mohan's weakness and if he could save Bani from any more pain and yet get her justice… He knew he was wrong and that Mohan should also be convicted for the rape charges but he didn't wanted Bani to get hurt any more or re-live the incident…

But one thing was for sure after this incident Daksh had decided one thing he would see to it that rapists were actually punished and met with their fate….

A week later…

The court passed its judgement and Mohan was put behind bars under the charges of fraud for 11 yrs as he had done a fraud of Rs.100 crore and also it came out that he was in drug dealing business…

Three months had past since that incident… Everyone had tried their level best to get Bani's life back on track… But all efforts were of no use… At that time Jai came up with an idea… Considering that Bani's MBA was over why doesn't she joins them at work… She can start as his PA so that she is near them and he or Adi or Uday can keep a eye on her to see to it that she is okie… And if she joins office it will keep her minds engrossed… Daksh was very happy with the idea…

Though it took him more than week to convince Bani and ultimately it was Annie's threat that she would stop talking to her that made her accept the job…

After a few months of joining the job the difference was visible on Bani's face and behavior… She was calm… She still used to have nightmare's but she was more relaxed now… The work used to keep her busy during the day time and at home her family… The only friends from her college with whom she was in touch was Aditi and Sid… Sid's sister Anupama had become a great friend of the Dixit-Singhania's too…

Dixit's, Singhania's, Walia's and Bali's were close… But this incident brought them closer… Only a wall separated both the house's else they were one big family…

Seeing this Uday discussed with Krishna and Sudha to reform the business in such a way that the business would never be a reason for any problem in their kids friendship…

Daksh was already handling the legal matters of WGI… Uday renamed his business as WBGI considering the fact that Adi had put in a huge effort along with Jai to bring the business to its heights… Everyone would work together yet they were responsible for individual units… Ranveer who had just joined WGI a few months back… He was also given a profile of his liking…

Neither Uday, nor Krishna or Sudha wanted business to be the cause of differences or reason of problem in their life's….

Though Jai, Adi and Ranveer were not in favour for this framework… But Uday made them understand his view point and they accepted it with grudges….

This framework didn't hamper their friendship in anyway… Jai, Adi, Ranveer along with Daksh's legal expertise brought success to WGI in a new way…

After a while Anamika joined Daksh in his law firm… Singhania and Singhania law firm had reached to a great heights of success… They were into corporate law… And apart from WBGI had many prestige's clients from different business fields…

Jigs and Pia ha started a fashion house… And Rano handled their finance side and did her MBA…

Part 5:

Present in Jai's room…

After finishing arrangement's for the Goa trip and having dinner he was went to his room… He wanted this trip to be perfect for Bani… It would be her first trip… And he didn't wanted it to go wrong… From the time Bani joined WBGI he had valued her intelligence… She was a great worker… He liked her a lot.. As a friend and as a human being… Initially he thought that was the reason why he helped her in her time of difficulty… And more over she was related to Daksh… He never realized when his friendship had taken a new turn… He loved her… To see her smile was as if the only motto in his life… He remembered the hallow look on her face, the pain, the suspicion for male species, the uncertainty… But he also saw the innocence in her eyes, the faith in Daksh she had, the love for her family and her intelligence…. Oh he knew he loved her… But the only problem that he had was that he couldn't express his love to her… He was scared of hurting her again… Scared that he might loss her friendship in the process… He was admiring her pic that he had taken last diwali… to him she was looking like an angel in this pic…. He loved holding that pic and sharing his thoughts with her…

Jai (to the pic): Bani everything is perfect on this trip… I know its your first outing its gonna be perfect…

The door to his room opened and Adi walked in…

Adi: Jaii….

Jai hurriedly kept the photo away hoping that Adi hadn't heard him and turned to meet him….

Adi: I know you love her… Why don't you talk to Daksh then…

Jai was taken aback with Adi's statement…

Jai: Is it so obvious… ???

Adi smiled at his friend and said: No and Yes… No as in a stranger might not know… But yes because you are forgetting I am your friend… Remember how you had guessed how I felt about Jigyasa..

Jai smiled remembering how a year ago he barged into Adi's room and made him confess his feelings for Jigyasa… It had been Bani's observation… She had guessed it first…

Jai looked at Adi and said: Am I wrong? I don't want to loss her friendship or hurt her..

Adi came and stod beside him and said: How can loving someone hurt tat person… Love her so much that she thinks only about you… Care so much that she forgets all her pain and sorrows…

Jai looked at Adi for awhile and said: What are you trying to say Adi…

Adi: In the past two years if she has became your friend she has became mine too.. I know how hurt she has been… But Jai she needs to move forward in life… If you say you love her then now is the time to prove it… Make her realize that there is a beautiful world which is waiting for her… Make her love you as much as you love her… And trust me the hell she has gone through by loving her you wont lose her but yes its not going to be an easy task

Jai: I know Adi but I don't want her to think that I am taking advantage of her weakness…

Adi had never seen Jai with so lack of confidence… He was the one whole boosted up everyone's morale when something went wrong…

Adi: You wont… This trip to Goa gives you the chance…. Convince her that you love her and that your family would accept her open heartly….

Jai was content but then he frowned thinking about Daksh and Anamika….

Adi: I know what you thinking…. But one thing at a time… Convince her first….

Jai smiled at his brother-in-law… and said: I guess you are right…. By the way why are you awake till now… Everything okie…

Adi: Yeah I have a news for you regarding the Goa project…

They sat and talked for awhile… It was about 2 when Adi called it a day…

Adi: You better catch some sleep if you plan to board tomorrow's flight…

After Adi left Jai packed his stuff and all the required docs and his personal diary and Bani's pic… After packing he went off to sleep…

Next Day….

Everyone was there at the airport to see off Jai and Bani…. Jai was standing with Adi and Daksh when Daksh looked at him and said in a slow was so that only he can hear…

Daksh: Please take care of her Jai… I trust you that's why I am letting her go with you… But there is only thing you have to know…

Jai: What is it?

Daksh:Bani sometimes has nightmares… Here are her medicines and I have written the dosage too… and gave him a packet…

There flight was announced and Jai and Bani left for Goa…

Uday: Don't worry beta Jai will take good care of her… Trust your friend…

Anamika: We do Bade Papa… But its just that…

Uday: Bolo beta whats bothering you…

Anamika: Jai has already done so much for Bani… That we feel indebt to him…

Uday looked at both of them and said: How can you be indebt to him when he is your friend…

Daksh: I know Bade Papa but…

Uday: No buts… By say such things you are putting question mark on your friendship… Trust your friend and yourself… And have faith in God… He will solve all our problems…. Lets go home now…
