Dear Isa,
I guess you do not like the name Nishant, actually I wanted to keep Ishan but it would be been same to same as TZP, so made some modification and when I was chatting with one of my regular readers yesterday, she told me about her cousin who has the same problem and is called Nishant....what a co incidence so this is my tribute to him...what's in a name as the bard said ;) ....
Ok..as you wish.I have nothing against the name...I like it infact.......... Today update was very good.😃

Chapter 4

Ok if I have to get up early, let me go to bed now….as Bani made arrangements to go to bed, the intercom rang, Kajol picked it up, Bani asked if it was Mr Wadekar wanting to inform her something, Kajol nodded negative but as she heard the caller, she started frowning….

As Bani picked Nishant up for the bed, she hummed the song, Nishant was staring at her, Bani started to sing louder with making gestures, Nishant looked at her with rapt attention…Bani getting his attention, she took Nishant by his hands and started making him do the gestures…he was stiff but Bani did not let him go and when she stopped, Bani noticed that Nishant had urinated and was standing in the pool…..

So much so for song and dance, Bani heard a voice as she lifted Nishant…..it shows your ignorance, first thing take the child to the bathroom, specially a child who has difficulty in expressing himself…..Bani grew red, of course she knew whom the voice belonged to ….today was the third day of her work….today Mrs D'Silva will not be coming as she has an appointment with the doctor and few routine checkups which she has been postponing because of Nishant, but then where was he, Bani did not get to see him for last two days…..

Thank you for telling me Mr Walia, good to know you take your parenting seriously but then it is important Nishant learns to recognise me before I pull him from one end to the other, as Bani went towards the bathroom, she heard him mutter, why does not Tony put on the diaper in the night......is he embarrassed that his nearly four year old son made a nuisance of himself in front of her.....

To Bani's surprise he was still standing when she brought Nishant out of the bathroom, washed and cleaned...Oh you are still here....I was taking Nishant down for breakfast, we will have it in the lawn, will you like to join us?

Lawn ? you want to take him into the lawn? But why? What is the dining room there for? He sounded angry....

Some sunshine should be good for him, you know his bones...Bani hesitated....

He went and removed the curtain.....sun rays flooded the room.....he pointed out ...see enough sunshine, make him sit on the ledge....as long as the sun is there.....he turned to leave the room...

But Mr Walia.....

Miss Bani Dixit, remember I am the father of Nishant and I am going to pay your salary, there are certain things which I would be delighted if you follow in case you are interested in the job.....I think after sitting for 3 months idle since your arrival you will surely give some importance to this job.....

I was hardly sitting totally idle......

Oh yes, the morning Yoga classes and the odd jobs you did in between.....but then this job I think is something you want to do but then to keep it you have to be careful...and I hope this is the last time I am telling you this.....

Bani was too stunned to speak.....how did he know I did odd jobs, I never mentioned it to baldie, Mrs D'Silva was right he doesn't miss anything but then how is he aware of information which I did not mention.....

Nishant suddenly sang out the couple of lines startling Bani and his father who was walking out of the room.....Nishant stopped, Bani waited tensed to see if he continues.....she knew his father was also waiting for the same.....

Sing the following lines, came a command ....of course it was meant for her

Bani sang out quickly.....

Nishant was too busy twisting the ear of his teady bear, he did not seem to hear....

He waited for some more time to hear his son sing, then walked out slowly......

As she had lunch, Tony supervised Nishant playing games with the maid or was trying to play games, trying to instigate him to run after the ball, somehow she could ensure that Nishant is not taken into his room after he finished his meal, which was usually the case, how long can a child like to be confined to his room, it may be big, airy, nice but then it was boring and unhealthy too, she understood it was convenient for Mrs D'Silva to keep Nishant in a confined area, Bani took out her cell, there was a missed call from her house....she is yet to inform her parents about the job, actually she wanted to inform them once she got to know her terms and conditions of her employment in detail.....but then they will be worried if they do not hear from her...Bani dialled the no.

After the usual greetings, slowly she told her father about the job.....

Lekin beta is it safe.....I mean ....

Well Kajol has found out he has a decent reputation and does decent business....

I know beta that you are desperate and the child is also special as you are saying lekin is tarah without proper...

Papa do not worry....if after 10 days nothing happen I will leave the job....

You are saying so beta but it won't be easy, 10 days is enough time to get attached with a kid..keya chhor sakogi tabh...

WHAT IS GOING ON HERE….HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO WORK WITH SO MUCH NOISE AROUND….we also run an office here….Bani heard baldie's voice and before she could get up she heard Tony apologising and taking Nishant upstairs….Bani clenched her jaws and pretended to eat her food in full concentration, she was allowed hour lunch break with food….at least she was given to understand that by Mrs D'Silva….Baldie came and stood at the door of the dining hall, observing her, Bani ignored him, while chewing she pretended to send some text messages, he stood for sometime and then left….Bani put down her mobile and glared at his receding back.

It was past 8.30 when Bani got free that evening, the routine got a bit haywire as she was not used to handling Nishant alone and Nishant was also not used to her maybe though he behaved the way he did with Mrs D'Silva, losing his temper couple to times even….Bani stepped outside from the side gate, passing the portico to see the reception dark, so the lady has left earlier, poor girl what does she do the whole day, dealing with baldie the whole time and hardly anyone to speak too, the gate was open, a car was entering, Bani side stepped to allow the car to enter, as the car passed, the back window rolled down, Jai Walia seeing her was making a note of the time…..

No wonder Baldie is always in such a bad mood, his master is always pushing him to the edge…I hope his watch is set to give proper time, dekh liya that I am going half an hour later….Bani thought sarcastically, ane ka time bataya tha, jane ka nehi, she almost heard him saying as she hurried towards the bus stand.

As Bani walked into the lift, face to face with two of the ladies whom she taught in the morning….so Bani you have got a job and what about our treat….

Let me get my salary first…I will surely will….

I heard you got a job in a big house, somebody very rich and well to do….

Well….eerrr…..Bani became puzzled she did not understand how did they get such information, Kajol was the last person as she had no time to gossip….

My niece is already marriageable age, 30 ki hone ko hai, but the girl is showing no intention of marriage, busy with her career, her mother calls me up to lookout for a boy, udhar dekhna koi agar mile….maaldar hai, ghar achcha hi hoga…….

Ji auntie….actually maine abhi tak….thankfully the lift had arrived the designated floor, the lady got down, as the lift moved up, the other lady said, this is what I do not like about Mrs Mathur, the other day a person was making enquiry for you at the security at the reception…..saying that you have got a job in a rich household hence this enquiry, bus tabh se Mrs Mathur is digging up all her relatives of marriageable age…..informed Mrs Sharma

No wonder he knows about everything, Bani thought angrily and so does the whole housing complex as to where she has got a job…...as she entered the house, she threw her purse angrily, Kajol who was watching the TV looked up….

You were of the opinion that my goodness shows on my face and that is why Jai Walia has employed me, but it is not the case it seems, he made enquiries and that too from the security at the reception….alongwith my information they have informed the whole complex that I have got a job in a rich household….Bani went on to narrate her conversation with Mrs Mathur and Sharma….

Well you cannot blame the man, of course he will have you checked, why he, we also have our employees checked before hiring, big companies are budgeting this as part of their HR expenses but yes the person doing the enquiry should have been more discreet or the security should not have spoken in the reception area….in fact that day I was informed by Mr Wadekar himself that as he was taking the list of intercom nos. from the reception to inform about your class's new timing, he too heard about the enquiry being made…..

Why is Jai Walia so khadoos. Being a shrewd observant guy he should know Bani is trying to train his son. And its helping a bit. Well will know slowly.

Well just started to read this story. Interesting backdrop for the story. And I thik the boy is going to come around with Bani being there. Is it that Jai is now goingto be jelous of Bani as the boy becomes more attached to her. Why is it that both the people are walking on tight ropes. And what exactly happened to his wife. And will she have to move there permanently. For a JB angle to come in looks like it will take ages with their attitudes.
