Chapter 15

Us taraf keya dekh rahi hai, mai abhi zinda hu, head of this family….jab nehi rahungi apne marji ke mafik kar lena…..

Bani bowed her head, thank god this woman does not stay here throughout the year…..

As the car drove out of the portico, Bani turned around till she saw the last glimpse of Riya on Aditya's lap. Her eyes watered, after Pia had left Riya with her, they never have been apart from each other, while Riya did not understand was looking at the new toy, Aditya was showing, Bani felt empty…..the car drove out of Walia Mansion, Bani hid her face away from Jai Walia and wiped her tears. Jai Walia watched Bani through the corner of his eyes but then pretended to be busy opening his laptop…..

We will stay maximum two days, it is a village on the way to Goa. Though the main livelihood there is fishing but an alternative arrangement is required, better education and medical, Dadiji wants to set up an ashram providing all the facilities…..

Bani listened carefully, he was explaining without being asked, she listened as long as he spoke looking out of the window, already missing Riya, Bani watched the traffic pass by, yesterdays sleepness night and monotony of traffic, her eyes closed, her eyelids drooped…

Jai put aside the laptop, Pia's head was nodding ….slowly he reached out his hand and softly guided her head, with a purr she made herself comfortable on his chest, Jai watched her sleeping, she was looking almost like Riya with a lips open a bit, he touched her hair they felt silk, her eye lashes thick and long, with hardly any makeup she looked beautiful, she was a beauty no doubt but what strikes Jai the most that she does have a streak of innocence, somehow he cannot imagine her to be a girl using her body to get things her way, Hemant says she is a girl who was very daring and with a lot of courage, courage she has but Jai was not sure about the daring part, her dress sense was sober, she respects elders and does not use any foul language or slangs as her generation does.

Jai looked out of the window the car stopped at the traffic, the car next to theirs a group of girls sitting and chatting animatedly, Jai observed them casually, two of them were definitely sisters he thought earmarking the two, yes no doubt about it….

Bani felt comfortable hmmm she thought, they have not reached yet, the car was still moving and her sitting position felt a bit awkward, then she looked up, Jai Walia was holding but he himself was in deep sleep, Bani slowly moved away, his features looked soft and calm, Bani blushed, she must have fallen on his, no wonder he was holding her, it seems he too had a sleepless night….

As they reached the village, dusk had set in, dimly lit, the air had a smell of fish in the air….Bani wrinkled her nose….

Don't worry the circuit house is at the other side of the village……so he has woken up, thought Bani and observing me……

A man came out running as he saw their car….

Sir, hope you had a nice journey

Yeah Sampat, we did….in fact a sleepy journey if you might put it ….

Oh yes I understand how it is like, Sampat's eyes twinkled

Of course you do Sampat, after all you were also newly married at one point of time……

Bani looked in the dark, it seemed the circuit house was at the outskirts of the village….except for the lone lamp post in front of the circuit house, the area was dark…..Bani entered it….the bungalow was old, over 100 years with portugese structure, high ceiling and arched doorways…this is the best in around this area Sir, Bani heard Sampat speaking. Normally you need to get the booking from Panaji from the Secretariat but the Village head helped, not upto the standards of our hotel but comfortable….here sir, here is the room…..

Jai looked at Bani and indicated her to step in first…..it was a huge room with four poster bed, the voltage was not bright enough hence looked semi dark, the bed looked comfortable, Bani looked around, two single seater sofa and a centre table, so no couch for him tonight….the bathroom too was large, the faucets looked outdated, but it was clean, Bani gave a satisfied glance and nodded her head….

Ok Sampat, thanks we will take the room, I know you did not have much option but my wife likes it otherwise maybe we would have gone to the next village or town…..

Would he really, wondered Bani….

When Jai came out of the bathroom he found Bani sitting on the sofa, with his mobile which she borrowed a while ago, she was making all baby noises obviously having her chat with Riya, Jai stood and listened for sometime, Bani was so engrossed she did not notice him, then he realized there was no couch in the room hence would have to share the bed, he got in and pulled the cover, his senses alert, Bani was taking report from Dadi all about Riya's activity….mujhe dhundh rahi thi,keya rowee bhi, abh theek hai na….sow gayee keya….Jai closed his eyes….

It was middle of the night when Jai's eyes flew open, the room was different, the bed too, he turned….Pia was not there…Jai got up to find her standing at the window, watching out at the stars, she must be missing Riya badly…..Jai watched her, he could not read her face as it was too dark but felt she was somewhat distressed, it was not a good idea to separate her from her child, lekin dadi ka bhi keya kehna, who will argue with her, headstrong woman who knew because of her age and experience she knows everything….well she did but how could she ignore the feelings of a new mother, after all she must have undergone the same or was too such a long time back she has forgotten about it…Jai Walia cursed his dadi and softly went to stand behind his wife…..

She was muttering something, maybe saying a prayer, he stepped back to leave her alone when he heard her saying mujhe maaf kar dena please, mujhe maaf kar dena…..

Jai put a hand on her shoulder and turned her around, keya baath hai Pia, are you o.k. are you missing Riya….

On his touch she looked frightened and teary, trying to control herself, I…. I am sorry I disturbed you…..she bit her lips….

The semi dark room, a beautiful girl looking defenceless, something got into Jai, he could no longer control himself, he leaned forward and took her lips…..

She was stiff at the beginning but then started melting, Jai started caressing her back, her fingers ran through his hair, Jai took some more time, kissing her neck and face, lifting her up and then laying her on the bed…..

Bani was having a wonderful dream, she lying on a soft bed in a beautiful room with low lights and someone was massaging her back, her limbs, her stomach….Bani's eyes flew open, the room was semi dark no doubt, curtains pulled not much of morning light filtering through it and her husband was caressing her, his hand feeling her stomach, good god, he will now start his question now, Bani was no mood to answer, last night, in the low nights maybe he could not see her properly or he was too aroused to care, now is he checking on her once more, Bani quickly closed her eyes to pretend to be sleeping, but the hand persisted, it crept upwards till Bani could no longer hold back, open her eyes to look into his dreamy ones, he wants her once again!

whoaaa.. soo JB.. but i think that bani should have told jai the truth first.. now she will get preggers and then jai will find out right.. anywayz great part yaar.. conitnue soooon..
