Hello eveyone!!!

Okay this is offically the last part and I hope you will like it. I suppose I asked a very stupid question about saving Bani or not, but I am a bit stubborn and hard of hearing so I hope you will not kill me. About Bani forgiving ND, I dont know what to call it. Maybe an attempt to still have her fatehr in her life, desperate mesures from a daughter who is in the hospital.
Abhi- I know I a have very cool doctors in my FF's. That is the criteria I have for them, I am not going to hand them my most precious characters when they cant keep their head cool and panick!😆
Ezther- hindi me zara jhol that but the message came across load and clear!😉 As for the rest..........I dont know what to say but Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, and a lot more Thank you's for putting up with me, listen to my ramblings, threatening me for updates or not to seperate JB, sending PM's, forgiving me when I made you cry with one of the updates, reading and posting your views, thoughts and wishes, or just reading😡😉😆! I am not naming all of you here,(I am just plain lazy) but I Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!!

So, This is the last part, I hope you like it. Do listen to the song I included. A very beautiful song from the movie Haste Zakhm .

This is Renu signing off. Namaste, Salaam, Ram Ram and byebye🤗

p.s. If I ever hurt any one of you with something I wrote in my messages or updates then I am very sorry It was not my intention and to all the people in Balaji Telefilms (not that they will read this but still.... This was just a story wrote for fun and to do something with the storyline that bothered me in Grey's Anatomy. It wasnt my intention to hurt or offend any of the persons in the creative team, the actors, directors etc. etc but still.....Kaan pakarte hai, sorry!!!😳

Part 10. Last part/ epi

Tum jo mil gaye ho, To yeh lagta hai
Ke jahan mil gaya, Ke jahan mil gaya
Ek bhatke huye rahi ko Caravan mil gaya
Tum jo mil gaye ho, To yeh lagta hai
Ke jahan mil gaya, Ke jahan mil gaya

Baitho na door humse, Dekho khafa na ho
Baitho na door humse, Dekho khafa na ho
Kismat se mil gaye ho, Milke jooda na ho
Kismat se mil gaye ho, Milke jooda na ho
Meri kya khata hai
Hota hai yeh bhi
Ke zameen se bhi kabhi Aasema mil gaya
Ke jahan mil gaya

Tum kya jaano tum kya ho ek soorila nagma ho
Bheegi raaton me masti tapte din me saaya ho
Tum kya jaano tum kya ho aab jo aa gaye ho
Jaane na doonga ke mujhe ek hasin
Mehrabaan mil gaya
Ke jahan mil gaya

Tum jo mil gaye ho To yeh lagta hai
Ke jahan mil gaya ke jahan mil gaya

Tum bhi the khoye khoye, mein bhi boojha boojha
Tum bhi the khoye khoye mein bhi boojha boojha
Tha ajnabi zamana apna koi na tha
Tha ajnabi zamana apna koi na tha
Dil ko jo mil gaya hai tera sahara
Ek nayi zindagi ka nishan mil gaya

Tum jo mil gaye ho to yeh lagta hai
Ke jahan mil gaya
Ek bhatke huye rahi ko Caravan mil gaya
Tum jo mil gaye ho To yeh lagta hai

'Didie, how did you know Jiju was 'The One' for you?'

Bani looked curiously at her little sister who was lying with her head in Banis lap. Bani was stroking her hair. Was she involved with anyone?

'Why do you want to know?' She asked.

'O ho, didie. Rano whined while trying to hide her face behind the book she was reading. Bataayiye na? How did you know?'

Bani looked out of the window of her bedroom with a dreamy look. 'I didn't know, I still don't know.

to aapne Jiju se shaadi kyun ki?'

' I didn't marry your jiju right away remember.' Bani answered with a blush.

'Yes but still. Why did you start a relationship with him?'

'Pata nahin. Sometimes you need to take a risk in your life.

Rano looked at her sister, putting the book on the bed. Risk?'

'Haan risk. You cant play safe all the time.'

'Mai samjhi nahin.' Rano frowned.

Bani chuckled seeing her sister's expression. 'Take me for example. Jab tumhaare Jiju meri zindagi me aaye to mai darr gayi. I didn't want him to come near me because I was scared. I had put my feelings and my heart away in a box that I couldn't even reach anymore and your jiju was coming close to it. I ran away kyunki mai nahin chaahti thi ki kisi ko bhi mauka mile to play with my feelings or hurt me like before and leave me. Years later I met him again and I thought that when we are being put together again by life, then why not take the risk of getting hurt and see where this leads to. Agar zindagi me phir taqleef milegi to kam se kam regret nahin rahega. You cant play safe every time in life, fearing a few bruises. These bruises tell you you have lived at least.

Do you regret anything in you life Didi?' Rano asked rather hesitently.

Bani thought for a while. 'No.' she answered truthfully.

Bani leaned back against the headrest of the bed again. She didn't have any regrets or grudges against her life. Her mother was long gone and did raise her to the best of her abilities. Her broken heart didn't allow her to show her love for her daughter but she had suffered all her life. Bani couldn't blame her for anything. Her father had his own life, he apologized for leaving her and for not being able to acknowledge her. After that day in the hospital he came back with his wife and other two daughters and son-in-law to introduce them to Bani. Rano started crying, seeing her sister in such a condition but hugged her with all her might. Pia was a bit more reluctant to accept Bani. Being the eldest daughter it was her instinct to protect her family from everything, even from Bani if she was being a threat. It took a while but before Pia left to America with Pushkar, and when Pia was sure that Bani wasn't a threat to her family, Bani was accepted as a family member. Her father stopped by more often during her stay in the hospital. Her mother, her father and her sisters. They were a part of her life now. And then there was Jai who was by her side all the time.

Bani closely observed Jai the first few days after her accident. She badly wanted to express how much she loved him and what he meant to her but she was unable too. It wasn't only because of the state she was in that made her unable to speak, it was also her future after the accident. Bani wasn't an expert but she did figure out that her recovery would take a lot of time and patience. Was it fair to expect from Jai to stand by her? Shouldn't he have the freedom to walk away when it would be too much for him, and get on with his life? Every time Bani would think about it, she would feel tears stinging in her eyes. Her inability to speak made her frustration grow more. Bani would resolve to distance herself from Jai, but his presence in the hospital would make it hard for her. He was there all the time, neglecting everything and everyone. His family would come everyday to cheer her up. Bani waited for the day the doctors would take her off the respirator and exactly a week after her accident Bani reached out to Jai and asked him to sit next to her. Slightly nervous she said the three words he craved to hear from her. A simple, but so important 'I love you.'

Jai took her face in his hands and kissed her lightly on her lips.

'It doesn't mean you have to stay with me Jai. I had an accident, you didn't. ' She said after that.

Bani still remembered his confused look that turned murderous after she explained he was still free to go and not wait for her to recover.'

Just one question from him silenced her. Would you leave me if the same thing happened to me?'

Bani could only shake her head to say she wouldn't.

'Then don't expect me to leave.'

He didn't leave her side. Not then and not in the following year of her recovery where she had numerous operations for her burn marks and for the treatment of her pelvis bone and her crushed legs. He didn't even miss one of the countless sessions of physical therapy in between his meetings. She had to send Jai away and forbid him from visiting her during Anu's wedding. The groom's family was getting impatient and although everyone wanted to wait for Bani to be okay and then get her married, they couldn't. Bani had to convince Aditya and Jigyasa to go ahead and get poor Anu married. Bani did plan a large part of her wedding from her hospital bed with the aid of her mobile phone. Ranveer taped every moment of the wedding for her and before Anu left she came to say her goodbyes to Bani and they had their own tearful Vidai.

A year later Bani could leave the recovery floor of the hospital. Her arms were fine now and she could walk without crutches. She did limp slightly because she had a pin in one side of her hip, but the limp was almost unnoticeable. Jai picked her up from the hospital and Bani felt her heart already sinking when she thought of going back to her own cold apartment when Jai stopped in front of the Walia Mansion and started unloading her luggage. Bani looked at him in surprise and he casually said 'You are staying her. Mausi and didi are planning our wedding. We are getting married next week.

That was it. No one proposed, no one asked the bride or groom anything, everything was arranged for their big day. Jai protested to a big wedding but no one heard anything. Mausi just told him he was getting married only once in his life (joined with a deadly look from her that warned him he should never leave Bani) and he better do it right.

Bani was lucky she worked for Jai Walia so she had a great insurance package that covered her medical expenses, but she didn't have any savings. Even though she didn't need to, she sold her appartment to pay for the things she would need in the wedding and for the customary gifts. She asked Aditya and Jigyasa to give her away because without their support Jai might never have agreed to their unusual relationship.

Aditya and Jigyasa were thrilled and touched by her question but also puzzled.

'What about your father Bani? He is back in your life isn't it?' Aditya had asked.

'He is jijaji, but not as my father in that sense of the word. Unhone kaha tha, ki he doesn't know how to be my father after all these years. Mai unse kuch nahin maangna chaahti hoon, Na hi unse kuch expect karti hoon. I am just happy he is in my life but it is up to him to decide what role he wants to play and I don't want to make him feel uncomfortable. Woh mujhe logon ke saamne accept nahin kar sakte hai because Kiran mamas family don't know about me aur unhe shaayed bura lagega. How can I expect him to give me away then?'

Aditya and Jigyasa agreed to give her away, but not before they heard Jai swear under his breath, hearing them speak about Mr. Dixit.

A week later Mr. and Mrs. Dixit attended Bani and Jais wedding as guests. Rano had gotten quite comfortable with Bani and was there during all the ceremonies, laughing and dancing and helping her sister with everything.

After the wedding Rano became a frequent visitor of the Walia Mansion. She got along with everyone very well and everyone looked forward to her next visit. Jai and Rano had a comfortable jija-saali relationship full of banter and teasing. Jai made her room in the Walia Mansion so she could stay over when she wanted. Jai's relationship with Mr. Dixit on the other hand, wasn't that good. Mr. Dixit visited his daughter from time to time and kept in touch with her through phone calls but Jai and Mr. Dixit didn't exchange a word more then a 'hello' or a 'goodday'. Jai couldn't forget what Bani had been through. He still remembered the lonely and lost look in her eyes that day, when he had found her on the street, crying in his arms. Every time he saw Mr. Dixit his blood would boil and he would leave the room. Bani tried a few times to make him understand that her papa was a good man, but it didn't work. Bani stopped trying, knowing it was another side of Jai's love for her. He could never forgive anyone who hurt his Bani.

****

Rano started talking again, lying on her sister's bed with her head in Bani's lap. They heard a knock on the door and saw Jai coming in.

' jiju, aap?'

'Haan mai, koi shaq saali-ji? Yeh mera bedroom hai.' Jai teased her.

'Mera woh matlab nahint ha. Rano sighed. You just came early from work.

I am not early Rano. Look at the clock, saath baj gaye. Jai answered while he walked over to the bed and planted a kiss on his sister-in- law's forehead and stopped to look at his wife and mouthed 'Later' to her. Bani apparently understood the meaning of his words and blushed.

'Saath baj gaye?!!!' Rano screemed. 'I have to go now, mujhe kisi se milna hai!! Bye di...bye Jiju.'
Rano jumped of the bed after planting a kiss on her sister and brother-in-law's cheek and rushed out of the room and out of the house.

'What happened to her?' Jai asked Bani while taking his coat off.

'Lagta hai bahot jald shehnai bajni waali hai.' Bani answered.

Jai, sitting next to his wife on the bed and kissing her softly on her lips, asked 'Shehnai? What do you mean?'

'I think she is in love. She was asking these strange things to me.'

Jai's eyes grew wide. 'Love!!' he screamed while getting up. 'She is too young for that! I'm going to stop her.
Bani pulled him back in time. No you are not going to do that. And she is 21. Three years older then when you first kissed me. she remembered him.

Well that was different. Jai said while rubbing the back of his neck, conscious of the fact that his wife indeed had made a point.

Bani crossed her arms and leaned back against the headrest of the bed, waiting for an explanation.

Well it was!........ She is just a kid! You were..... more mature!' he exclaimed.

Bani just arched her eyebrows.

You were! Jai tried to convince. And if I wouldn't do that then we wouldn't be together.'

'Accha...'

'Yes.'

'So is was just a kiss that brought us together?' Bani questioned.

'No, it was my kiss that brought us together.' Jai said rather proudly. 'But I can undo it now.' He leaned towards Bani flashing a devilish smile and kissed her again, this time longer. It was a familiar kiss now, but totally welcomed by both of them as the intensity would surprise them every time. Bani put one arm around his neck and pulled him closer to her, pulling on his shirt. Jai's lips wandered from hers down her chin and her neck, to her collarbone where he stopped with a frustrated groan. Bani lightly stroke the back of his neck. 'It's okay, I had a check-up today. Everything is normal.' She whispered.

'But you were in so much pain. What if I hurt you?' Jai asked her.

Aapko to mujhse zyaada dard hota tha. Bani said remembering her difficult pregnancy.

Her accident still had it's effects. Her pregnancy was a cause of joy for everyone in the house. Since the day they had found out everyone stared shopping and pampering her. Jai had cleared the room next to theirs to make a nursery immediately and started pestering people to help him.

From the third month, the time when the baby visibly started to grown inside Bani, she started to experience pain in her back and her hips, caused by the baby's weight. Gradually she couldn't even do things she normally used to do. Sitting, standing or walking for more then half an hour would result in pain she couldn't describe in words. Bani tried to hide it from everyone, especially Jai, but they all got to know when Jai once found her in the bathroom, in the middle of the night, sitting in the bathtub in extremely warm water to ease the pain in her legs, hips and back, crying silently. She had to confess. Jai lifted her out of the bath, dressed her and immediately rushed her to the doctor, on who's orders she wasn't allowed to do anything. Bani was kept on a close watch, accompanied by someone 24/7.

Bani got bored easily and pleaded with Jai to let her move to a room downstairs. After she promised that she would not climb the stairs anymore and she would lay still on bed, he agreed.

Bani could now be around the rest of the family more.

Even following the doctor's Bani would experience pain throughout the day. At nights she would fall asleep with pillows propped against her back, for her comfort, and Jai holding her. She would wake up in the middle of the night to find his pillow wet with tears from seeing her like this or to find Jai talking to their child, explaining that he did love him or her, but he felt bad to see Mama in so much pain and could not be as happy as he wanted to be. Most of the time Bani would turn around and kiss him on his cheeks and make him understand that she was happy and in the end it would be worth the pain. He was allowed to be happy, they were having a child after all, but Jai couldn't see anything beyond her and her pain. After a while her explaining wouldn't help and Bani would just run her fingers through his hair until Jai fell asleep, still worrying about her.

Two months ago their baby girl came to them. Bani had a caesarean after she couldn't push anymore and passed out from the pain. Jai was with her the entire time until she was wheeled into the operation theatre. He almost made a hole in the waiting room from pacing back and forth. Until he saw Bani with his own eyes, he was on his feet, praying, crying and mumbling that she had to get better for him.

And here he was now, kissing her, but telling her that he was afraid that he would hurt her.

*****

'You could never hurt me on purpose.' Bani said.

'I just need some time to be sure Bani. Thora sa waqt to get convinced you are okay. Jai looked in her eyes and then lowered his face, touching her nose with his forehead.

Bani faintly mumbled a 'hmmmm.' and kissed his forehead and pushed back the strands of hair that were falling forward on his face, before Jai adjusted their clothes and pulled her up. He looked around. 'Where is she?'
'With Mausi, Aaj woh nehlaana chaahti thi. You have a bath, mai khaana lagati hoon.'

Bani walked out of the room with a smile on her lips while her husband got ready for dinner. Bani set the table for everyone and took her daughter from Jai's reluctant to let go hands so he could have his dinner.

Jigyasa walked towards Bani with a phone in her hand. 'Bani, it's for you. Rano hai.'
She took the Phone. hello.'
'hey di, Mai hoon. Ehhh di.....
' She said hesitantly. 'di.....Are you sure?'
Bani smiled. 'About what Rano?'

About the risk di. she heard Rano whisper.

I am Rano, but remember the other person is human too. Galatiyan sab se hoti hai. If he is a nice person then you should trust him, but be sure he is a good human being and he will treat you right.

Rano seemed to relax. Thanks di, baad me baat karti hoon. Say hi to everyone. Love you.

love you too. Bye.

Bani ended the call and put the Phone next to her plate. Jai was looking at her and judging by the expression he was bursting with questions.

Bani chuckled slightly and just said 'Shehnai' and saw his expression change and attack his chicken again. The boy Rano would bring home would go through a hell of a time, Jai would definitely make sure of that. Anything for Rano.

Bani looked at her sleeping daughter in her arms and her family at the dining table, laughing and joking with each other. She had everything now. A husband, a child, a wonderful family. She had a good relationship with her stepmother and her sisters were wonderful. Pia kept in touch and Rano was a permanent visitor in the Walia Mansion. Her father was in her life, not in the way she had wished for but her was there. Bani realized that she couldn't force a relationship with her father, but couldn't run away from relationships, and the chance of getting hurt, like she had wanted to do when she met Jai. This was her destiny, her life and love. Her own family was with her and it was worth all the pain she experienced and would experience. Relationships were formed with feelings and by heart, not by blood, and in the matters of the heart, getting hurt was a part of it.

Bani's loneliness ended years ago. Her love was next to her in everything she did and she had a part of them in her arms. The rest of her family was around her. She didn't want anything else then their happiness. Bani's waiting had finally ended.

Ranju, once again a very real ending. One of things which really strikes me is that though your situations are uncommon (but uncommon things make a story. come to think of it if everyone is happy always where is the sttory ? at least the haalat should be an enemy). But the way you deal with them is very mature and relatable. I really like the fact that Bani chose igs and Adi to give her away as they were her pilliars of support. simply put, I completely liked the way Mr Dixit was handled by the family. Once again the sisters as well. Rano was the more open one and was able to mix well while Pia is a bit more discreet and takes time to open and mingle. Once again very well portrayed. I enjoyed reading this FF and in my own interests do hope that you get the time and inspiration to start another one as well.

That was a fantastic ending to an amazing story. I still believe that Bani's father was a coward and does not deserve Bani's forgiveness. I like Jai's attitude towards him much better.
I liked the way that they got married - it was like the way that they had strated out their relationship- no questions.
Hope you decide to start another FF soon

Sigghhh...nice happy ending after all - u didn't kill Bani! Can understasnd how she offered Jai to carry on with his life if he wanted to; appropriate answer from him too. Very well written - esp the time it takes to recover from an accident like this - her difficult pregnancy. Good job!!! And thanks for spending the time to write for all of us.
