Another Ekta plan flops...

Our very reliable sources have confirmed the show's shut down. The reason being low TRPs.
Ekta, who is been ruling the TV industry for quite a while now is going through difficult times. Her actors aren't giving her much attention and are rejecting to do certain scenes.
First Rajeev's exit from much-popular show Kahiin To Hogaa (Star Plus) then Iqbal's exit from Karam Apnaa Apnaa (Star Plus).
Recently, Pallavi Subhash and Yash Tonk (who took over Shiv's role) refused to do a scene which demanded them making-love-on-screen.
Both cited the reason as "uncomfortability" doing such scenes. In the past also, Prachi Desai and Ram Kapoor (Kasamh Se, Zee TV) has put their foot down when they were asked to do such a scene but Ekta and her creative head Nivedita Basu handled it then now they are thinking of shutting down the show Karam Apnaa Apnaa.
Other co-actors like Achint Kaur, Geetanjali, Salil Ankola have raised their concerns as they had signed a 1-year contract with Ekta Kapoor for Karam Apnaa Apnaa.
Salil Ankola is completely against this decision and says "How can Ekta do this to us, I was pulled out of Big Boss because I had signed a contract with Ekta but now hearing this...". He looked upset and worried as after that incident no other production house offered him any role. Of course anyone will be worried if their job is at stake.
However, Ekta or anyone from the creative team were unavailable to comment.
We wish all the Karam Apnaa Apnaa Team best of luck and the creative head (s) to put thier thinking-caps on and start thinking of a "New-Ekta-Concept".
