Yash Tonk: your views then, and now......

hello KAA-ians😛,

With all the rocking members present on this forum today and all the fun stuff that have been going on, I apologize for bringing that subject up again: Yash Tonk!!!

Some of you would still remember that I had posted a topic shortly after the leap called, "Yash Tonk- Reason for 5 years' leap???" and if you don't, here's the link to refresh your memory:

well, as now Yash Tonk is well settled in his role, my question to you is, do you think he's now doing justice to Shiv's character?

As far as I am concerned, I had expected more of Shiv-Gauri romance after the leap.. and frankly, I wish IQ were there, continuing his arrogant self😳.. KAA is slowly, but surely becoming the boring Ekta type serials..

But is Shiv Kapoor partly the reason of that, still???😕 What do you think guys???

no i dont think its because of yash because (im sorry iqbal fans too) shiv is not a storn charactor . i mean i mean yeah he get get pretty angry but that doesnt make a person or charactor a storng charactor. shiv was suppose to be weak charactor can be debated cause only a weak person would go along with nikhilas plan.

specailly after the leap, ithink yash was finally selttled into the charactor which is suppose to a conflicted , lost inlife charactor

if the story had more to offer, i bet yahs would step up and i honeslty dont think its yash's faulti. also if people would just accpet him as ashiv, maybe viewing the show for them wouldnt be so bad.

i don't feel that yash tonk is a bad actor either and honestly, the topic here is not his performance as an actor, but rather if you think there's anything that IQ was doing as shiv kapoor, that maybe yash tonk should enact more of..like he says that he's happy with gauri a lot.. but there's hardly any scenes that shows that.. and maybe if shiv kapoor's arrogant personality is brought back in the show, through yash tonk, the show would be more realistic and would appeal to more viewers!!!😳

ok . umm like i said i dont think shiv kapoor is a strong charactor.

umm wat iqbal did that yash could do. well dif actors have diff acting styles and if yash started doin wat iqbal did, then he would be criticied for copin him. and honesly i feel regardless of wat he does, hews in a lose lose situation because agian shiv is not a strong charator.

as far as the attitude goes, ummm i love this shiv after the leap . specially the ones with the kids. they remiend me of my childhood. (yes i got treated special just like shivs little girl). hes so carin towards his kids and gauri,
i wouldnt wanna see shiv as a arrogant dad

as far as the love scenes between him and gauri go, from wat i have noticed, whenever shiv is in a romantic mood, gauris too busy. shes like i have to help the kids with this or i have to get this ready or etc.

well, now that you've explaind yourself clearly, i'll have to agree with you that shiv really is not portrayed as a strong character.. and you're right about people would have judged yash tonk and he would have been called names if he had tried to copy IQ's acting styles..😕😳

as far as the arrogance goes, i didn't mean with the kids, i meant with gauri!!! like the scene when shiv (IQ) and gauri were driving to their honeymoon spot and shiv said that he was hungry and gauri said to him that she's brought food from home.... you remember this scene??? well, see Shiv's attitute??? that's what i'm talking about!!!😆

well its march and thats when people have sprin break. no toehr good reason besides taht.

attitude. o. well i thin shiv now knows that gauri is fragile and has been through alot and there is no point of bein arrogant with her because hes always so straightforward , i feel he thinks she doesnt deserve to be hasseled like that.

Shiv, the man, we hated but yet loved him to bits...in my honest perhaps a bit brash opinion, the character shiv was killed of when Iqbal Left.......

Yash is a good actor but he as shiv I am yet to be convinced, truthfully I just don't like they way they have shaped shiv, he seems to be a very weak character and a totally confused one...

the leap to be frank was a waste of time... for them and us as a viewer, the story was already taking a different track with ipshi's wedding....

sorry if i sound harsh but its my opinion.........
