When in Love

Hi Guyz…I am a new member to this forum. I came to know about the Fanfics section, so I decide to give a hand at it. Hope you like it. Give me your valuable comments pls including criticism. Hope you like it. In addition, Guyz, some of the scenes maybe familiar, which has been taken from, movies, book or stories, please forgive me; it is just because I am influenced by them.

Ok…so first let me give a brief description…

This story is not only focusing on Shiv-Gauri, I will try to bring all of your favorite pairs together.

Character Sketch:-

The Kapoor Family

1. Mahen: - A rich business man married to his love-at-first-sight, Nikhila. He follows the footsteps of his father in all matter and even in marriage (hehe). Loves his family a lot and very loyal towards his friend, Alok.

2. Nikhila: - Wife of Mahen. Loves her husband a lot and very happy that he has a friend like Alok. As she has no daughters so she treats Gauri as her own daughter.

3. Prem (Played by Eijaz (Good choice, I guess, I will change if you want me to)): - The elder most son of Mahen and Nikhila. He loves his family a lot

especially his Dada. Elder to Gauri and Shiv by 7 years and to Anupam by 2 years.

4. Anupam (Played by Hiten): - The second fruit of the love of Mahen and Nikhila (Get it, right, Hehe). A very lovable character adores his brother and

his style and takes him as a role model and loves Ipshita.

5. Shiv (Played by Iqbal (Nobody can take that role)): - The youngest son, a happy-go-lucky type, best friend of Gauri since childhood, a very brilliant

guy, but never bothers to study much. Adores both his brothers and loves his parents.

6. Dada: - Father of Mahen. Loves all his children equally. He can bear anything but the break-up of the house. As told before, married his love-at-first

sight victim. He still loves to romance with his wife.

7. Dadi: - Wife of Dada (obviously!) same thing as usual. Loves family etc. A very jolly person who loves to enjoy life. She secretly enjoys her husband's

romancing but doesn't show that.

8.Maya (Played by Gitanjali) :- A villainous character, sister of Mahen, who loves money a lot, she fell in love with a guy, eloped, repenting for that and

her son died at birth.

9. Anjali (Played by Juhi):- A widow, sister of Mahen was married to Sameer (Hussain), who died in a car accident, mother of Ipshita.

10. Ipshita :- Niece of Mahen, A modern girl, just two years elder to Shiv, a good friend of Shiv, fun hanging out with but not as much as Gauri. Loves

Anupam.

11. Daksh: - Mahen's brother, married happily to Shyla, he doesn't play a vital role.

12. Shyla: - Wife of Daksh, she too doesn't play a very vital role.

13. Vivan: - Their son, same age as Prem & Kaya. He kinda has fallen for Kaya.

The Chaterjee Family (I know you are bored reading such a long Character Sketch but this Parivar is a Small one)

1. Alok: - He was a drunken man, who worked in a lodge, spent money gambling, but the birth of Gauri brought him to reality.

2. Priya(She is played by Shweta(Prerna).You know some times in a scene of rememberence or a photo looking-crying scene you have a face to imagine.)oor bsmaking it funny as possible.e your comments.who wanted to spend every single time with her but now his rtoh: - Wok, died giving birth to Gauri,ife of Alok, died giving birth to Gauri. Loved her husband a lot in spite of all the pain he gave her.

3. Kaya: - Their Elder Daughter, she too likes Vivan. A bit lazy person. But loves her mother a lot and she loves Gauri a lot. She is a very stubborn and

confident person.

4. Gauri: -(Played by Pallavi) Our star, yes! Acting opposite to Shiv, loves her family and can't think of a day with out her Papa and Didi but fate brings her to the spot where she has no one.

IN CASE OF INDROUCING NEW CHARACTER IT WILL BE MENTIONED IN THE BEGINING OR END OF CHAPTER, WHERE A BRIEF DESCRIPTION ABOUT THEM WILL BE GIVEN. YOU DONT HAVE TO RUSH LOOKING FOR IT BECAUSE AND NOTICE OF INDROUCTION OF NEW CHARACTER WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU GUYZ BEFORE HAND.

Part 1

It was raining heavily and she was drenched completely. She was blank about where she was. All she got out of her mind after a lot of rattling was a tight grip around her waist and a strong hand pushing her back of the head to his chest and a strong smell took over her senses. Then she found herself in a dark room. Being a girl, naturally scared, she ran out of the room and found herself stranded in a place unknown. She ran, ran and ran until she hit the dead end and now she realized that she was having a terrible time. She kneeled down crying and some parts of her life re-winded…the day she became an aunt, her first salary, her first day at college, her first day at school, the day she became a part of the Kapoor's Family Slowly everything was coming back to her. She could hear the loud cries of a baby in the hospital and the camera focused on a cute little newborn child in the hands of a very shabby dressed half-shaven but happy father but the smile soon disappeared after what he heard from the doctor. That was the news of her first sorrow in her life, she never got a chance to love her, kiss her, smile at her, and she left her, her mother left her bringing her to this world.

Part 2

"Gauri! Gauri! Do not run, Gauri wait there, you have to school and there is no special consideration in that. Do I make myself clear!" "But…Papa" She was cut of by a strong masculine voice, "Fighting again as usual?" "Bade Papa! Tell papa I do not want to go to school. That big girl (stressing on big) in the school, the one with glasses, in whose hands that big stick is there (she stretched her hand to show that it was so big), yesterday she was telling me that if I didn't call her ma'am she would hit me." He picked her up, his face is now shown (It is Mahen playing the role, He and Gauri's Father are business partners.)Put her on the lap, smiled at Alok and said turning to Gauri "Then why don't you call her ma'am?" "That…That…That is because that is not her name." "Then what is her name?" Mahen knew very well what her name was Veronica, but the innocence of her eyes, her behavior and her speaking made him so inquisitive like a child who wanted to know why the rabbit's ears were so long. "Her name…her name…it is on the tip of my tongue" A pause, Gauri thought for a moment and gave up. "I forgot again, I thought it was because she didn't like her name she was asking everyone to call her ma'am, but now I didn't like that name so I called her 'chashmish' but she got angry (the smile that lit her face faded off showing her disappointment)." "Then what did you do?" "I decided to give her a better name so I called her 'the beating girl' beating girl' I called her the e so I called her the b because that day she bet so many children, but then she looked even angrier so I called her 'bhoothni'." She looked up to see the shocked face of her Papa and Bade Papa. Although very young she knew that elders always wanted explanation of things that children did, what they felt was fun. She quickly added, "Because she looks like that ghost whom we saw that day on TV." At this point, both of them laughed their heads off. They could help to agree with that point. The teacher who she was speaking about was Miss.Veronica. She always had her hair in hairstyles which no normal human being would wear and she use to wear long heavy earrings that would make anybody's ear come out. The big necklace and heels so high that made her more than 7 feet tall and she put so heavy make up that gave her a total outlook of a very modern boothni. Gauri smiled showing deep dimples, that would make anybody pull her cheeks, relaxed thinking that now they would not hit her, and happily continued, "At that point she got very angry and she hit me." She held out her hand that had dark red mark of a stick impressed on her hand. This softened the hearts of both the fathers. Now Alok opened his mouth but Mahen spoke out for him exactly what was in his mind, "Ok, Fine, you don't have to go to school but on one condition" Her faced brightened up, "What is it? What ever it is I accept it" "Then fine, come, let's go" "Go? But where?" "You only told me that you agreed to the condition what ever it was. The condition is that from now onwards you will stay with me and go to school with Shiv." "But Bade Papa, I will not come anywhere leaving Didi and Papa" "Then ok, your father and your didi will come with you." "Really? (Really excited) Then ok" Alok was surprised then he realized that eventually he had to move out. He was Mahen's business partner but that was now. Few years early he was jobless, a drunken man who lost his money which he earned by working in a lodge through gambling, who never cared out his daughter, Kaya or his wife, Priya and now the house was in debt. Gauri attracted Mahen to Alok and they became partners but he lost the house. They had to move out on or before 25th and today was 24th but Alok, didn't mind that he had to move out, because he was busy being happy, today he had his family, although he had it always he never realized the importance of having a family until Gauri came and Priya left. He was thankful to his friend who accepted him as a business partner and helped him whenever he needed somebody for help. He some how loved Gauri more than Kaya. Gauri looked exactly like his wife from every angle, maybe that was one reason but that was not it, it was after her birth, he realized what life is and what you have now would not remain with you forever. Alok spoke out "But our belongings..." "Alok, you don't have to worry about a thing, by today evening you three will become a part of the Kapoor Family."

Part 3

The camera focuses on a very big house, which is equal to a palace in fact. The camera moves in order to focus the hustle-bustle of a joint family where three extra members were to be included. "Kaka! Is everything going all right? Is there any problem? They will be here in about two hours…I want everything perfect and welcoming." A small hand tugs the pallu of her sari…she looks down, a small smile spreads on her face, and she speaks out, "What happened, Shiv?" The face of Shiv is a handsome, cute, chocolate brown-eyed face with a smile spread on his face, seeing his face although his mother, Nikhila could not help thinking how many girls had a great crush on him. "That, Mama, When is Gauri coming?" hearing this boys of 13 and 11 years jumped up and spoke together "Ooh! Mr.LoverBoy is so restless to see Gauri…Don't worry Shiv, your dear lover will be hear soon enough!" Hearing this Nikhila's jaw dropped. She wouldn't mind bringing Gauri as her bahu but the matter they were speaking about was of things to happen more that 20 years later and she was thinking that today's generation was so fast-forwarded that now at such a tender age children starts thinking about marriage. Shiv couldn't make head or tail of what they said, he asked them innocently," "Means?" Seeing that innocence Anupam replied, "When you become big like us you will understand." "What he will understand?" came out a voice of a girl clad in a pink knee-length skirt and a white shirt. Anupam's heart skipped a beat. Yes, it was none other that Ipshita. "Nothing!!" cried out both the boys, they knew that Ipshita would tell Gauri and then Gauri would ask her Bade Papa what that meant and then they were in deep trouble, "Well…There is nothing that is going to make me believe that but it doesn't bother me?" Just then, a girl about Shiv's age ran to her Badi Ma and said, "Please don't tell papa I am here." All eyes of the whole family fell on her, everyone had a huge smile on their face seeing her, but Shiv's happiness was unexplainable. Nikhila like everyone knew that she must have been up to some mischief for sure. Shiv ran to her so inquisitive to know what happened so great that he happened to miss, "What happened! What happened! Tell fast!"

Part 4

Gauri looked at the inquisitive eyes staring at her. She first started with the narration of her 'Bhoothni story' and said everything to the end, she continued," "And after that we went to that aunty, who lives next to her to give the key of the house and then she told that I was a naughty kid and I should stand on my toes. Therefore, I stood on my toes to show her that I can stand on my toes and by mistake, I fell and spoiled her clothes. And now Papa is going to hit me..." "Ok…I wont tell..." but she turned around to see none, she smiled, she knew that her 'badmash bacho' were the exact genes of her dear husband. They used to note mentally how good any girl was, make fun of her in front of the others so that they will lose interest in her and then snatch the exact opportunity to have the girl next to them. She remembered how they made fun of Shiv and Gauri but when she presented herself, they were actually snatching her. The scene shifts to an enormous room where six children where playing games and having fun and talking, "Gauri…Kaya didn't come till now. When will she come?" Before she could reply, the question was answered for him. Kaya quickly ran to the room and sat next to him. The boy was none other that Vivan, a handsome more of cute, black eyed, chubby cheeked kid. He didn't miss one chance to have a look at her and Shiv and Gauri were chattering. Seeing this Prem and Anupam looked at each other and cried together, "This house definitely under some love spell. Otherwise you wouldn't find so many love birds in here but the best pair is Shiv and Gauri." After that, Shiv and Gauri were called the 'lovebirds' by these two. Not waiting for Prem to complete, Anupam got up and quickly went to sit next to Ippy. Prem fell on the couch and mumbled to himself, "Guess… I am the only bachelor in here." The children continued having fun and later, they had dinner. The dinner, the night that brought the Chaterjee and Kapoor family together. The night complete happiness. ake fun of her in front of the others so that they will lose interset a boy expressed his question

Part 5

Her childhood later was filled with happiness. Maybe it was because she got two fathers; her bade papa and her papa or maybe it was because she got a mother; her badi ma. Or was it because she got two friends who acted as brother and a person fallen for her at the same time; yep our Prem and Anupam or was it because she got a great friend Ipshita or was it all because of her best friend Shiv without whom life wouldn't be same. She also got a grandfather and grandmother, two loving aunties (Anjali and Shyla) and a loving uncle (Daksh) too and even her loving sister Kaya. She got a great loving family just within a day. She enjoyed life like a free bird. Despite all her sadness, she laughed and made every one laugh. This Gauri grew up to a bubbly, cute, lively, beautiful, friendly, softhearted teenager, woman, much later a wife and even a mother….

Her childhood activities amused many people and in all this, she had a companion, Shiv. Shiv always wanted to be ahead of her like a guide and teach her the lessons of life. Once, a lizard from an unknown territory found it's livelihood in Shiv's bowl of cornflakes. Unlike other children, who would be scared of it, he started to touch it and observe its actions. Gauri sitting next to him was amused by their actions and she felt that both the lizard and Shiv looked alike. She suddenly snatched the lizard from him to see the similarity between these two. Shiv got angry and he told her that if she wanted to know further details of their similarities then it would be better if she would cut them out and check. Gauri was a person who hated it when people talked about surgery and cutting of body. The comment from Shiv made her vomit. That did not matter him, in spite of the position he was in, he managed to throw the lizard out of the house and make her promise that she would not tell the truth within five minutes, just before help reached Gauri. But as always said "Crime never pays", the others not knowing the reason assumed that she was having a fever and she got to miss the important tests during those 3 weeks while Shiv had to manage double work because he flunked many of the tests. This incident took place in second standard. Somehow, after being in eighth also these little creatures used to still show up in his plate of food. It was in eighth every one discovered the reason of this. It was a great morning. The children of the house where to be driven to the sands at ________ (THE BLANK IS TO FILL IT UP WITH ANY OF A BEACH'S NAME OF YOUR CHOICE). Shiv was not to be included in that party; he was in disgrace; only that morning he had refused to eat his bread and butter on the apparently frolicsome reason that there was a frog in it. Older, wiser and better people had told him that there could not possibly be a frog in his bread-and-milk in spite of the fact that for the past years things were turning up in his food and he was told not to talk nonsense; he continued, nevertheless, to talk what seemed to be gobbledygook; and described with much detail the color and markings of the alleged frog. The dramatic part of the incident was a frog was there in Shiv's basin of bread-and-milk; he himself and put it there, so he felt at liberty to know something about it. The sin of taking a frog from the garden and putting it into a bowl of bread-and milk was discussed at a great length, but the fact that stood out clearest in the whole affair, as it presented itself to the mind of Shiv, was that the older, wiser, and better people had been proved profoundly wrong. "You said there could not possibly be a frog in my bread-and-milk; there was a frog in my bread-and-milk." He repeated with the persistence of an expert tactician who does not mean to budge from a positive opinion. Now after a lot of talk with Shiv the elder members of the house found out that he did this all just to amuse Gauri. They knew it was of no use punishing him severely for this but he was naughty and this time it was stupid too. How would it be to think that an eight grader put a frog in his bowl of food just to impress a girl? So the elders hastily invented the expedition to the _________ (AGAIN THE BEACH NAME OF YOUR CHOICE) in order to impress on Shiv the delights he had justly forfeited by his disgraceful conduct at the breakfast table. In addition, Nikhila made sure that he was meticulously debarred. Gauri felt sorry for him but she decided that he deserved it because she knew that he knew that she hated those small creatures to which she referred to as the 'creepy-crawly things' as it used to send a shiver down her spine. Shiv's heart broke as he saw the party drive off with all the high spirits. But what made him even sadder was that the person who he did it for was not there for him and he was the one who wanted to spend every single time with her but now his two brothers got that chance…

Part 6

Who was left alone? Shiv…He got a chance to be alone…He wouldn't eave that opportunity to get back at them for separating him from Gauri and even Gauri for not protesting against this separation…He decided on a good boy act…that would be perfect in all means. He would act good boy but with a bad boy heart and awaiting them would be a whole lot of surprises and they would be in great problems…He laughed wickedly (like you know the typical villains in K-soaps and films)

He sat on the couch watching TV counting seconds waiting for then to come, but they wouldn't have even reached the beach by now, it was only half an hour since they left and it would take one and a half hour to reach the beach but our Mr. Expert Mischief Maker had everything ready, all set for action…

The bell rang; he was in complete shock… "Who is there?" "Your dear family members." Replied Nikhila…He opened the door slowly… "What if they were burglars?"…but it turned out that they were really his family…"What are you guyz doing here? I mean you were supposed to be at the beach." "We didn't go because of you." She said promptly. "But I thought you went to punish me." "Looks like somebody have a problem that we are here…your dear brothers and friends and father and grandparents and uncles and aunts were worried about you and guilty that they left you alone…so we came back…but when we came here, you don't want us…" "No…there is nothing like that…I just…" Poor Shiv was now in the verge of tears, he just hopped this was a dream but unfortunately it was not, he felt so bad, he felt ashamed of himself. "And Gauri threw up on the way because she got car-sick… so we then came back…" Everyone went to his or her rooms to change, the kids stayed back, Anupam spoke up, and "You know what?" "What?" he asked bitterly, hoping it would be something saying how they enjoyed, so that he could get rid of his guilt feelings, but life is so unfair, "Gauri faked that she threw up, so that we can come back, and we purposely spoke on our fears and we told that you were afraid of being alone…" "But I am not afraid of being alone…" "We know that, we told that, so that we could come back, you know, it is no fun without you…" Gauri was smiling, "Hope you are happy now, anyway we are, come, let's go change clothes." Poor Shiv, he felt like a brat, an idiot, heartless, villain with no emotions, then to his horror he realized that they were going to change clothes, he ran upstairs, he screamed, "Don't change your clothes, please don't change…for heaven sake don't change…" "Why what happened?" Dada asked his naughty grandson "That…That…" Everyone was surprised at the behavior of his. Shiv broke into tears, he became hysterical, "I…I…am… sorry…I…I…was…was… a…ang… angry…be…becau…because… don't…don't…hit…me…me…I…am…sorry…I want… wanted…to…punis…punish…for not… take…taking me…tha…that's…wh…why …I…put…itch…itchin…pow…powder…in…your…clothes…an…and…mi…mixe d…

washing…paw…powder…in…in…the sugar…I…am…so…sor…sorry…don't hit…or…or…punish me…don't…be angry with me…I will…be…a…good…boy…I… will…as…you….you…say…" he broke into complete tears, while others just smiled, Nikhila asked him sternly, "Are you ashamed of what you did?" "Ye…yes…and…I…will …never…do…do…anything…wrong…" Nikhila smiled, true that he did wrong but the greatest thing was that he was guilty and he told the truth, "Nobody is angry with you, actually we are proud of you…" "You are? Why?" he asked surprised "There are so many naughty kids like you, who does things like theses but not al owns up there mistake. We are proud of you, but that doesn't mean that you can do more things like this and then tell a sorry, see now what you have down, now all clothes have to be washed, that sugar is wasted, we have to buy again, do you that so many people don't have all these things, so we must not do like this. You promise that you won't do this again." "I promise from the basement of my heart that I will never do anything like this." But that promise was not kept, there was one more time when he took the washing powder again, but this time, the whole lot of those naughty kids helped him….

Part 7

It was a great day…at least for the adults…but not for the kids…they had a guest at home…she was…such a bugging woman…she had problem with everything…Shiv just wanted to get rid of her like everyone else…the children looked at each other for help, the elders helplessly heard her boastings and gossip. "Gauri…A visitor has come, give her some food, go and get something to eat." Everyone was surprised, nobody would ever do that, and it would be so shameful…but none said anything, poor Gauri cursing under her breath, went to the kitchen, followed by the whole lot of children…Gauri was really angry now, first she was having problems that she was wearing a knee-length skirt "Children of your age should not were such revealing clothes…" was her exact words, and she also had a problem that she use to talk to the boys and now she was asking her to get food. Shiv had and idea, "Gauri, if we have to get her out of the house, we can do something…" "What? Tel fast, we don't have time; I want her to go as fast as possible." "After we do this, she will neither wait here for a second nor will she ever come back." "Yeah ok! But what are we going to do." "Simple. Take about two spoon of washing powder and mix it nicely in her juice, she will be in the washroom for the rest of the day." "Where is the washing powder?" Shiv gave a cheeky smile and pulled out a packet from his pocket, "I kept it just in case." Gauri gave him a disgusted stare from head to toe. "Okay, Okay, I'm sorry, don't look at me like that." The rest is not needed to be told, she spend her entire day in the toilet but the children were in deep trouble, "Are you going to tell me who did this or all are going to get punished." Mahen was angry with them, true she was a lousy guest but that was no way of treating any guest. Gauri knew is Shiv would own up he would be in deep trouble and Shiv knew that others would be in deep trouble. Gauri was a loyal friend, "I did it." "Gauri you, you…I never expected this from you but it did work." The children looked at him in surprise to see Nikhila nudging him angrily. "I mean, go to your room and never repeat these kinds of stupidities." Everyone in the family knew well that it was Shiv's idea, but when she stood up for him, the loyalty in their friendship melted their hearts. Well…they tried hard and unfortunately, they managed to keep the promise….

Part 8

Her school life had been great; she was intelligent so studies were something of no difficulty. She was popular among every one for her singing, or dancing or her responsible attitude or her charms. The school was under a condition where without Gauri nothing would be well. Shiv was also popular for his intelligence and charm but Gauri was what made him perfect. He wouldn't go out until Gauri would pick out his clothes and he used to boast to others of his style not that he was no good he was just lazy and so dependent of Gauri.

College too was great…By the time Shiv and Gauri came to college Prem, Vivan and Anupam had joined to work in their father's business while Kaya had fulfilled her ambition of becoming a doctor and became a successful doctor of The WelfareHospital. The friendship between Kaya and Vivan, which was just a bud, bloomed to a beautiful relationship of love. They kept no secret of it; the whole family knew how much they loved each other and in fact, everyone was happy about it. Ipshita started working as a successful Fashion Designer but she never hid the fact that she had always taken help from her friend, Gauri. Shiv too wanted to join his father's business and be a successful businessperson like him while Gauri wanted to be an RJ. Shiv always told her that she should waste her voice on screaming and instead it was better if she became a singer, and this naturally annoyed Gauri.

However, life cannot always be great. Sometimes things happen suddenly. After completing college, Shiv like everyone joined his father's business. The RadioCity was holding auditions for fresh RJ's in which Gauri participated and were selected. The final round was being conducted in Bangalore. Everyone was impressed with her auditions and there was no doubt about the fact who was the new, next and hot RJ. Everybody knew it would be Gauri. She was sad that her family was not here with her but they are close to her heart right, so she brushed away the sadness and happiness took over as she posed for photos and answered the questions of the press. The RadioCity was an All-India-Radio-Station, which had different stations at different places. She was appointed to the Mumbai station and it was far away enough for her to make her take a trip by bus. She happily returned to her beloved house. She had become famous over-night. The RadioCity was every one's favorite, every new RJ's wish was to get a place there, and the competition was not tough it was head breaking tough. However, the news that awaited her was not so happy or rather was not supposed to…

When she reached the gates of her house, a sudden pleasure took over. She was on top of the world, about everything that was going on. She had been missing everyone terribly especially Shiv. She ran to the front door, took a deep breath, and opened the door. What she expected was many people shouting with joy and jumping with happiness and hugging her but what she saw was that everyone was clad in white; eyes were stained as though they were mourning over the death of somebody. She looked around; everyone was present there except for…

Part 9

The scene looked as though… "No!"... She brushed that thought aside… "Every body is in white, everybody looks as though they have been crying! In addition, he is not here! Oh My God! Oh my god! Somebody tell me nothing happened! She looked worried, she moved to her Badi ma and asked "Badi ma…What happened? Why is every one so sad? Moreover, where is Shiv? When she mentioned that name Nikhila broke into a pool of tears, she hugged Gauri and cried like a puppy that lost its way back home and mumbled, "He was too young!" It struck her, "My fear turned out to be true, my best friend, no he was more than that was… was…I can't bear to think that he is…and I was not even there for his…no…no…please someone tell me that nothing happened" she thought. Nikhila lifted her head; wiped her tears and sighed. Gauri's eyes where swimming with tears. She let her tears flow and suddenly…

A Shiv came from nowhere screaming "SURPRISE! Along with him, the whole family. She was now in a stream of emotions where she was drowning, why wouldn't she? Any expert swimmer would in a condition like this. I struck to her, who was her best friend? A master minded fool with a brainless empty head stupid whom... Who never paid head to feelings of others! She was suddenly filled with anger; she glared at him as though she could kill him. She walked up to Shiv, and our brave Mr. Shiv was shivering due to fear thinking she was gonna kill him and then…

She hugged him tightly and broke into tears. Every one was surprised, that was something they never expected. She broke from the tight embrace and started hitting him. Now he was a human right, he naturally felt hurt, "Ok! Ok! I so sorry! We just wanted to surprise you." She took the pillows on the couch, started throwing on him, and started shouting, "I hate you…you…you…stupid, idiot, and brainless moron, how…How can you be such a heartless person?" He ruffled his hair and spoke shyly "That…I thought that we did give you a surprise…" He was not allowed to complete "Yah! Yah! Surprises are given by people like this right! By taking the soul out of the person… u idiot." "Ok…Ok…I will undergo through any punishment of your choice after the party." She smiled at him cheekily and said, "You thought of everything huh?" "After all whose idea was it?" "Some moron's!" Before Shiv could strangle her, she ran to her room, laughing, everybody started laughing and returned to the daily chores, while Shiv shook his head and retired to his room.

Part 10

Shiv was looking at the mirror his image, not his image actually his shirt where the droplets of tears shed by Gauri were stained. He decided that from now on this was his lucky shirt. He didn't generally like these crybaby girls but some how today he was contented that she in fact cried thinking about his death. Then when he thought if it was as though she would even at the death of Prem, so then what was so great, not that he wouldn't but still…

Gauri was all giggly about the surprise and how she hugged him, every single moment she used to hanging around his neck but today it was quite, not quite…more, just a bit more, no actually a lot more, no actually it was much more than much more. She jumped on her bed hugging the teddy bear (It was her favorite), now actually thinking why this was her favorite when she had many? Was it because it was soooo cute or was it because Shiv gave it to her?

Nikhila sat next to her husband who was lying on the bed. She smiled and looked at her husband. Husbands! They just understand when you have something in your mind and so did Mahen. "Spill the beans." "What?" Nikhila was surprised that her husband understood that there was actually something in your mind. She smiled and questioned, "What do you think about Shiv and Gauri?" He shrugged and said, "They are best friend, both of they are my children, and both of them are good souls and they inseparable." She sighed and said "Oh! You are useless!" She was about to get when he grabbed her hand and said, "When did I say I was finished? And today or tomorrow she will be my daughter-in-law." At that point, she hugged her husband," I so happy you think like that. I will come now; I have to complete some chores." "Please, go later. Not now." He quickly replied pleadingly. "No way! I have to go." She left the room leaving a disappointed Mahen behind.

Anjali entered the room of Gauri, where she saw a daydreaming girl thinking deeply about something. She was a mother, but then also she loved to play all sorts of games, which includes childish. "Boo!" screamed Anjali and for a chorus Gauri screamed letting out her fear. "Aunty! Not fair! Every time you promise me that you wont scare me when I am thinking or I am busy and then you break the promise" "And I promise you that if you tell me what you are day-dreaming about I will not." "Aunty, how can you say that I am day-dreaming when I am thinking?" she replied looking hurt "Oh Baba! I am sorry! Now tell me what you were thinking about." "Well…" she gave a long pause. Anjali quickly spoke "You are thinking that are you in love with Shiv or not right?" "No!" she gazed into her aunt's eye, she couldn't tell lie "Maybe yeah" "Not maybe, it's obviously dear"…

She quoted down in her diary the exact words spoken by her…Those words just touched her heart…It created a sense…And it somehow gave her an inner meaning about her feelings…She decided that she would wait for sometime before opening herself to him…

The words were this…

She just spoke these lines; it didn't make sense except that it was like poetry. However, she pondered over these lines and then she came under the conclusion that it was a very good thing that she had love married…

Shiv looked out of the window, the moonlight lighted his room, and he spoke to the moon about Gauri and he felt that it spoke back to him about her (Inspiration from the song TERE BIN by ATIF. What do I do? I love all the lyrics of the songs he sang.). He smiled at the moon; he turned around to have a look at his room. It was filled with photos of them both. He couldn't help smiling thinking that how a great deal he used to annoy her and they used to be worse than India and Pakistan. He climbed on to his bed and drowsed of thinking happy things…

Part 11

He smiled mischievously as he got up but he himself was unsure why. As he got up, his dream came back to him and he realized why he was so happy when he got up…They was supposed to go normal but it didn't. It was an amazing day.

The party celebrating the joy of her being the next hot RJ for the RadioCity. The party was altogether a great event. Through they middle of the party exciting things began to happen… The couple of Vivan and Kaya was decided. They loved each other for so long and now Mahen announced with the permission of Alok that they were going to be engaged. Vivan and Kaya blushed in embarrassment as Shiv and Gauri teased them. Gauri and Shiv used to addressed as the 'LOVE BIRDS' 'cause they used to together with each other always and now it was their chance to take back at them.

After this joyful announcement, Shiv grabbed Gauri's hand and dragged her outside where there was solitude and

Handed her a box and asked her to open it,

She found in it a bracelet with dangling keys and hearts,

He presented her with a necklace of heart pendant,

After adorning her with these ornaments,

He kneeled down, took a deep breath looked into her eyes and…

Told her that the pendant was his heart,

The keys in the bracelet referred to the key to his heart,

If she accepted, it that means she loves him if not they can remain friends….

Their lips pressed,

Into a passionate, kiss that made everything clear

This kiss spoke out their feelings

They loved each other….

They separated from that meaningful kiss and they bend their heads looking on the ground as though it was one of the Seven Wonders of the World. "GAURI! GAURI!" "Huh! What happened and what am I doing here." "Oh my God! This is your party remember! You look so dazed and you were muttering something. What was it? Something...it slipped out of my mind." "Oh, that's nothing Ipshita, I just you know…." "Hmmm… somebody is on top of the world that she forgot where she was." "Nothing like that Bhaiya." Minal :- (Played by Anjali of KkavyAnjali)As told she was last years Hot RJ and she was sharing house with Gauri when she met Gauri in Banglore, they actualy has studied together in school,but then Minal shifted and they lost touch. She has no one in this world exept for her loving brother, Aman and now her friend, Gauri.

"Who that?" she asked pointing her finger at Prem, "Yeah man! He is soooo… hoooot..." "Well…that is my elder most of the brothers, Prem" "Oooh! Is he married? Looks like a bachelor to me. Do you think he will like me? Do I look acceptable? Wait…Would you mind me as a sister-in-law?" "Wait you are serious about this? You will marry him, cool! Yep, he is not married and you look acceptable and I would never mind you as my sister-in-law." "Who is she gonna marry? Me?" Minal turned around to see Shiv leaning on to the table next to them. "Let me guess if that is Prem, you cannot be Anupam and you look some what near to Gauri's age so you must be Shiv. Right?" "Not bad, so Mrs.Gauri has told everything about a handsome young man named Shiv Kapoor hasn't she? "Shiv, I am not married!" "Sorry! I thought we both married yesterday. Don't you remember our first night? I came close to you and…do I have to tell everything." Gauri flushed in embarrassment and hissed, "Shut up will you." He laughed and turned to Minal. She was giggling hearing this, quickly, she stifled up her laughter, seeing Gauri glare, "Nope, I found out everything about a handsome guy named, Prem." "I won't mind you as a sister-in-law." Was his quick reply, "But it will be better to have him fallen for you than let him know that you like him, he will get a swollen head." "No buts, Minal, You are Gauri's friend, now you don't have anywhere to stay so you are staying here." "But aunty…" Nikhila looked at her sternly and spoke, "Now you are my responsibility, I am not allowing a girl to simply wander looking for rooms. So you are staying here and that final." She sighed, "Okie, if that is you wish." She winked at Shiv. Prem was gaping at her from when he saw her and now when she winked at her, his heart broke.

Gauri dragged Minal and she stopped halfway turned around and asked, "She will be staying in my room right?" "Ya" she hugged Minal with joy and pulled her to her room. "This is your room? It is fabulous." Her attention turned toward the teddy bear, "Aww…ChoooChweeetTeddy bear its soooo… cute." "Shiv gave it to me."
"Not bad. Not bad at all for a starting." "Minal! We are just friends." "Is it or is it more?" "Bye. I'm outta here." "Ok. Ok. I'm sorry."

"Hey! Hey! You don't have to be sorry to Miss. Prodigy for anything." A voice rang. "Oh! If you both are interested in irritating me, then you both can share the room. NOT A SOUL IRRITATES OR THINKS OF IRRITATING ANYONE ESPECIALLY ME IN MY ROOM. And you, Mr. Prem, it would be better that you quit calling me Miss. Prodigy before I strangle you, by the way do you even know what prodigy means." Prem stretched and yawned as though he had just got up from sleep. He walked towards Gauri, turned and winked at Minal. Gauri was about to say something but he quickly placed his fingers on her lips, he came closer to Gauri, "Prodigy means a person with exceptional qualities or abilities, especially a precocious child; marvelous thing; wonderful example of some thing, for further explanation please check the dictionary." "If you know the meaning why the hell do you call me Miss. Prodigy?" Asked Gauri who was clearly angry, and she pushed him away. "Before answer me:- Who the hell told you that you are not intelligent and talented and wonderful. In fact too good to be true but you are true. You know something, if I hadn't fallen for some one and if you hadn't fallen for Shiv, then… Leave that." "He walked towards the window, stared at the moon, turned around and said, "You are still mine and will always remain my and I wont leave to anyone just like that." Gauri was flabbergasted; her jaw dropped and was gaping at him as though he just jumped out of the mental asylum. On the other hand, Minal liked and was amazed at the way these to way carrying the conversation but inside she was feeling sad to even think that he loved but that was not his fault any one would fall in love with her but she wasn't that bad either, she wished that she would be Gauri… Prem turned around observed Gauri's face and smiled. He came to her, hung his hand around her neck and said, "You are my one and only beautiful sister…I doesn't matter me if we have no blood relations…you are one of the TOP 5 things in my life…and I can never-ever imagine a life without you, sis, and I wish with my whole heart that you remain my sister in my next life and the next and the next and as long as I have a re-birth." Gauri was over-whelmed and she broke in to tears, she hugged him as though he was a teddy bear. Seeing this Minal remembered her own bro, Aman, she actually forgot to tell Gauri that…now the whole scene and Minal's thought was interrupted by a huge scream at the door, "SURPRISE". Everyone turned towards the door. Gauri ran towards the person, hung on the neck of the person, "She didn't even tell me you were coming." "First get down and let me tell everything." "I thought you were coming tomorrow." Said Minal. "He was coming tomorrow? You never said to me." "How would she tell? It was supposed to be a surprise. But tomorrow's flight was cancelled so here I am one day early." "Cool! However, where will you stay? Bhaiya for today can he stay in your room?" Before Prem could reply, "No worries, I have no problem sleeping with my beauty." "Yep! You can sleep with me forever after your death." "Please. Please. Please…" However, poor Aman is not allowed to continue pleading. Gauri kicks him out of the room with Prem.

Aman:- (Played by Pulkit of KSBKBT) Brother of Minal, a he loves her like hell. He had a major crush on Gauri, he proposed her too, which she denied like she did with everyone. He has no hard feelings toward her. Now, he sees Gauri as a great friend and nothing more.He works as a computer engineer

The first rays of sunshine hit the windows of the Kapoor house. Every one got up and headed for breakfast. All got up to see breakfast ready, early in the morning. "GOOD MORNING EVERY ONE! FOOD IS READY! ALL IS PREPARED BY THE ONE AND ONLY GAURI." Gauri was all dressed in the chef's uniform and arranged al the things as though she was a professional. Seeing this everybody's mouth started watering. She clearly put a lot of hard work into it. She had actually prepared everyone's favorites. Nikhila noticed a new comer other than Minal in the house, she was actually wondering who it was. Gauri immediately sensed it and introduced Aman to the whole house. They all settled for breakfast, halfway praising her food. Gauri wanted to clear out something in her head but she didn't know what it was. Then she got it, it was about something what Prem said. After eating, she quickly went to Prem's room, before Aman could get into the room and closed the door behind her. Prem was startled by this, "What happened?" he winked, "Any secret?" "Not exactly. I wanted to ask you something about what you said yesterday."
