guys i hav bad news....i wont able to update for another week................JUS KIDDIN! lol....i'll update later today.....i'm sooo sorry for the long wait.....but in desi chic's word.....my beja was fried due to the exams....tats why i coodnt update wednesday....this school year has taken so much of my energy tat i jus needed som time to myself to recover.....but i'm bak!....sorry once again and thank you to every1 who has been very patient.

i wz gonna kill u readin that u wont b able 2 update 4 another week. dont joke like that it'll give me a heart attack

PART 28

Gauri was climbing the stairs, leading her to the roof, when she was stopped.
Person: gauri!
Gauri turned aroung to see nikila calling her.
Gauri: yes badi ma…
Nikila walked up to where gauri was standing.
Nikila: beta where are you going?
Gauri searched her brain for a good excuse.
Gauri thinking: what do I say…what do I say…WHAT do I say….
Gauri: actually…..badi ma…I…umm….
Mahen, who was stading at the bottom of the stairs called out.
Mahen: nikila! Can you come down….mr. verma and his family are here.
Nikila: I'm coming…ok gauri you carry on….but come down as soon as possible. the barat
will be here soon.
Gauri: yes badi ma (she sighed in relief when she saw nikila's retreating back.)

Gauri quietly entered the roof and looked around. It was a chilly night, but in a nice sort
of way. The wind had just enough bite in it to make the night daring. the moon's light was
as clear as glass tonight. it seemed to dance off her skin, making her look divine. she
smiled to herself and lifted her face up to soak in the stars....the wind blowing her
jet black hair.

shiv has never seen anything more beautiful than gauri smiling in the moonlight. her presence
captivated him....he couldn't seem to notice anything else when gauri was in sight. he
felt his breath catch when gauri combed her fingers through her hair...her dimple setting
deeper into her cheek. is it possible to love someone to the point where it hurts?
because that's how shiv felt about gauri. he feels gauri in his every hearbeat...he feels
her rush through his veins...breath life into his soul...she was his reason to live.

shiv queitely walked up to gauri. he put his arm around her bare stomach and pulled her back
against him.
shiv: you look beautiful tonight...
gauri smiled: thanks
shiv: i love you...
she closed her eyes as shiv lightly kissed the space behind her ear. her head fell back as
a shiver went up her spine. she was beginning to enjoy when she heard a band playing in the
distance....it sounded like shenai....her eyes opened in realization.
gauri: oh my god the barat is here!
shiv grumbled: what is wrong with my timing....(he wrapped his arm tighter aroung gauri)
gauri stuggled: let go shiv!...we have to go down.
shiv: not unless i get my kiss...yaar common...i've waited long enough.
gauri: tum aise nahi mano ge
she stepped on shiv's foot and broke loose.
shiv: ouch! tum gayi kam se....
gauri was about to run when shiv grabbed the duppatta wrapped around her neck.
gauri grabbed her duppatta from the other end...desperately trying to free it from shiv's
grasp.
gauri: shiv chodo mujhe...the barat is here...
shiv looked at gauri from top to bottom...he's never seen gauri show so much skin before...
he's gotta admit...gauri not only looked beautiful tonight...she looked sexy.
he started to walk towards gauri...still holding on to her duppatta.

gauri saw the look shiv got in his eyes....the same look that manages to freeze her. shiv
was the only one that had that kind of power over her. she couldn't seem to move...all she
felt was her heart beat faster...but that wasn't anything new now was it.

shiv was now a breath away from her. i guess shiv was going to get his kiss afterall.
she closed her eyes as she felt shiv tilt her face up.....

shiv: naaaah
he pulled back and giving a mischivious grin walked away.
gauri opened her eyes in shock...dumbfounded....what the hell just happened?
gauri's jaw dropped at shiv's retreating back...he did not just...
gauri: shiv!

shiv let out a laugh as he ran down the stairs...gauri running right behind him.

shiv is so naughty.that was such a cute and adorable moment on the terrace.

Meri jaaneman, big japphi for u!! Toh finally, u're back. I'm sure ur exams were superb. As for the update, "shivery" all around. I was blushing/smiling and shivering all around. Parts of it were filmi, but I LOVE that. However, even the filmi aspect held much underlying depth as always... Girl, u mezmerize me! Now, jaldi update. I will be waiting tomorrow, and u know it. And agar nahin mili, toh teri khair nahi!
