Hi guyz, I don't think there is any doubt in regards to who fits best for Shiv's role. However, I think we need to give Yash some time before we can make any other comments about his role as Shiv. I liked him so far and I hope he keeps it up.

I think we should remember that IQ had the easy job, that is he could portray Shiv as he wanted to - ofcourse within the parameters of the script.
He is no doubt a good looking bloke - which is god-given and a very good actor - credit of which is his.

Yash on the other hand started with a handicap - the character has already been portrayed. So his degrees of freedom is greatly reduced. He has to continue to portray is as close to how IQ portrayed it. Now that is a much more difficult job.
He is an average looking guy - but that is again god-given-he cant do anything about it. But his acting a very good. One must give him credit for it.

So I feel comparing the two is just not fair because they did not start off at the same level.

Agree considering they had seen him only for two days. Now that is quite an achivement for Yash. Yash keep up the good work.

Comparision on looks seems totally unfair, for that , I agree , as optimist mentioned is god given.

On the basis of acting skills, its a matter of how we relate to a character portryal and I do not deem it right for me to comment on acting skills of actors when I myself am no authority on that aspect...

Each actor will have a style of his own to add to a character,the little nuances,apart from the demand of the character and comparisions such as these about the actors rather than characters on the forum may lead to personal bias .....sadly...

My thoughts...

No offence to anyone, this was just a POV.
