Recap: "Gauri! This is Mr Shiv Kapoor your new MD," Mr Sen said introducing them. She was shocked to see him and looked at him surprised. The bunch of flowers in her hand shivered as she looked at him and she could feel her eyes fill up as she stared at him. "Gauri?" She turned to Mr Sen who looked at the flowers in her hand and extended them towards him. He turned and looked over towards Machan who took them from her. "Mr Kapoor! Shall we", he said as they walked into the building….

She walked into the office with her resignation letter in her hand. He was sitting with his back towards her and she could hear his husky voice booming around the room. "I want those finance figures on my desk before I leave," he said firmly and turned in his chair to see her standing before him. He placed the phone down on the table and looked at her curiously.
"I didn't hear you knock," he said looking at her.
She looked at him not amused. "I work over there", she said pointing to the room next door. "It has no door", she added. He looked over at the little office with the glass window and turned to look at her "We share the office?" he said leaning back in his chair and noticed the letter in her hand.
"What do you want?" he said looking at her.
"I want to….
"Hold on one minute", he said and picked up the phone
"Machan come in here!"
She looked at him as he twirled the silver pen is hand and looked at her. Machan walked into the room and approached them. He turned to Shiv and he handed the files and left the room.
"I need to see these reports by the end of the week," he said holding the large files in his hand and dropping them on the table in front of her and turned around in his chair with a dictaphone in his hand.
"Shiv…
He quickly turned around and looked at her "Sir!… In the office you will address me as SIR! Have I made myself clear!" he said firmly looking at her. She was getting frustrated by his attitude and glared at him angrily as now he was just her boss and nothing else. "Sir my resignation!" she said holding out the letter in front of him. He leaned forward and took the letter he looked at the letter and then back at her and got up from his chair, he walked over towards her and leaned towards her. "Letter…Resignation letter?" he moved behind her and could feel her feeling tense up and smiled. She glanced over at him waiting for his next move as he step in front of her. Holding the letter in his hand he torn it up in front of her and placed it in her hand forceful. "But…..
"You owe this company 10 lacs which you borrowed as a loan. If you settle your debt then you can leave", he said walking over towards his desk as he opened the draw. He took out the documents and held them out to her. She took hold of them and looked at them, he was right see had borrowed the money but it was from Mr Sen and not him. She looked at him as he stared at her "I owe Mr Sen," she whispered.
"No you owe the company….which belongs to me," he said sitting back down on the chair.
"Pick up the files and get to work", he said firmly as looked at the laptop screen. She let out a sigh and picked up the files. She had barrowed the loan for Baba's health costs and Kaaya studies. As she walked slowly towards her office she heard him tapping away on the keyboard, but could feel his gaze.
"Gauri!" his voice boomed in the office as she turned to face him.
He stared at the screen "I want coffee and order me my usual lunch!" he said as he typed away. He smiled as he watched her slowly walk in the office "Checkmate!" he whispered……..
