Recap: He looked at her as they walked towards the door she was not the woman he knew and this was not his world. He stopped and could feel a sharp pain in his head as he looked over at his parents he took hold of his head. He looked over at her for the last time and suddenly everything started to fade in front of him his heart beating in his ears started to slow down, feeling his body slowing down he collapsed on the floor………

"Doctor! How is he?" she asked as he approached them.
"At the moment he is stable, I have spoke to Dr Das in Mumbai and can't believe you still came here against his wishes" he said.
"Doctor he kept asking for Gauri and the children. I could not see him upset anymore as he firmly believes that he has been living with Gauri happily. When the truth is my son survived a fatal car accident and has been in a coma for 2 years. Everyone believed he was going to die but I knew my son would come back to me," she sobbed.
"Now that he has come back to us he thinks he is going Crazy!" she cried as Mahen took hold of her in his arms.
"My son's not Mad! Doctor ……
"But Mrs Kapoor he could have gone back into another coma and it could have been much worse", he replied.
"Can I see him" she asked wiping her tears
"Yes but he is heavy sedated, you can take him home after we run a few more test tomorrow," he said and walking towards his office. Nihkila sigh and walked into his room. Mahen turned to look at Gauri, Ram, Alok and the rest of the family. "I am very sorry!" he said as he held his hands together teary eyes. Alok took hold of his hands "we never knew?" he said looking at his old friend.
"I know but please don't worry we will look after him", he replied.
He turned towards Gauri and Ram "I am sorry because of us you were not able to get married today. Please forgive us!" he said as he walked into the room…….

"No!" she moaned under the sheets. "Di?"
Kaaya looked at her as she moaned in her sleep "DI!" she said shaking her. Gauri opened her eyes and sat up to look at her. Kaaya looked at her as she looked so scared and handed her a glass of water. This was not the first time she had nightmares, ever since they returned to Kolkatta she had them but now it was more frequent since she saw Shiv that day. She watched her slowly as she slowly placed the cold glass of water to her lips and drunk the water. Kaaya placed her hand on her head moving her hair back to reveal her face. "Di you have been so quiet lately and Ram does come around any more," she said looking at her as she leaned against the headrest with her head in her hands.
"He's gone out of town and will be back at the end of the month", she said turning to look at her.
"Oh I thought maybe….
Gaur looked at her as she struggled with her words.
"with Jiju turning up like that…..
"What? Do you think that I would go back to him? After what he did to me?" she said picking up the blanket shaking her head.
"But Di have you thought that if it was not for the accident he would have come to get you. I mean he said I love you twice in front of everyone and the way you ran towards him just before he collapsed like you knew something was wrong…..
"That does not change things anyway we all ran towards him", she said get back into the covers.
Kaaya nodded and got back into bed as Gauri turned off the light.
"I thought it was kind of like in the movies…. hero comes and tells the heroine that he loves her and was unable to come as fate separated them and he comes running to get her back…." She sighed
"Kaaya! go to sleep that stuff only happens in the movies and books. Really life is very different and when have you been into all the stuff", she asked turning to see her.
Kaaya smiled sheepishly and closed her eyes………..


Gauri smiled, as she looked at Mr Sen her boss at the telecommunication cabling company. She had worked as his assistance for 2 years now and today he was leaving for America. She was feeling nervous as she didn't know who the MD was in fact the whole takeover of the business was a surprise to everyone. "Thanks everyone for all your hard work! The new MD will be arriving soon. He has assured me that it will be business as usual so let make him feel welcome", he said to everyone in the office. He turned and smiled at Gauri "I hope everything is arranged as I have requested. I have been informed by his team that he is very particular", he said firmly.
"Sir everything has been arranged as you have requested but sir you have not mention who he is?" she said as they walked into the office. He looked at her and turned to sit in his chair "I never met him! His team has handled everything and I'm feeling a little nervous, as he has bought my company in 10 days. I can't believe he paid me more than my asking price", he said smiling.
"But Sir….
"Gauri please don't worry as his people have assured me that my employees will remain employed. Your job is save! They were impressed by your work and are looking forward to seeing you", he said as he turned around in the chair.
Gauri smiled and turned to walk in her office, she sat in the office next door in her own private little office. She turned to smile at him thought the glass window ……….

Gauri stood next to Mr Sen outside the building with the rest of the employees as the black Mercedes stopped. Mr Sen walked towards the car as it open and greeted him…..He looked at her "Gauri! This is Mr Shiv Kapoor your new MD," Mr Sen said introducing them. She was shocked to see him and looked at him surprised. The bunch of flowers in her hand shivered as she looked at him and she could feel her eyes fill up as she stared at him. "Gauri?" She turned to Mr Sen who looked at the flowers in her hand and extended them towards him. He turned and looked over towards Machan who took them from her. "Mr Kapoor! Shall we", he said as they walked into the building….
