Hiten in Sharukh's shoes?

Hey guys,

Well everyones been saying "keep posting" so here I am!! Thanks for the welcome everyone... the purpose of this post... Well, it appears that Ekta Maiya is trying to depict Anupam (Hiten) and his character much like Aman (Sharukh) in Kal Ho Na Ho. I mean she's even got the music!! Right from his intro, he just randomally sits on a bench and starts talking to some stranger girl and shares her grief without even knowing so! Aman was much the same. He was always there for sharing everyone else's pain. I'm just wondering where his character is gonna lead. From what I've noticed so far, I'm thinking he's going to be the bridge between Gauri and Shiv. In the process of getting them together, there are large chances of him falling for Gauri (I think he is just infatuated with Ishpita, or maybe he will get over her after some realization). But, like Aman gives up Naina (Priety) to Saif's character, so too will Anupam. Or perhaps I'm just crazy!! lol😆 I think I'll leave it at that for now.

Would like to read your thoughts on this!!

hehe i agree. Hiten's character is sooo similar to SRK's in Kal ho....i really hope Gauri doesn't fall for him though coz u wanna see her with shiv 😳

i think he will fall for gauri.....but gauri wont fall for him...

or maybe the complete opposite....gauri falls for him becuz of his care towards her....but he never wanted to come btw shiv and her...

i agree...his character is very much like aman's in khnh....the farishta sent from above....the angel!! 😳

the bench scene reminds me more of Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna than Kal Ho Na Ho. everyone says that either Shiv or Gauri will have an affair.In KANK, rani is about to marry abi, who she doesnt really love, and SRK persuades her to marry abi. then he re-enters her life and they get to know each other and evenutally have an affair. This could be the direction that KAA is headed but it could also be like Kal Ho Na Ho where Hiten is just a good friend that falls in love with Gauri but gives her to Shiv. we shall see, but i just wanted to say that the bench scene reminds me more of KANK than Kal Ho..

anupam came as a cute stranger in gauri's life and on his advice she married shiv...now that he will be a member of the kapoor's family so its obvious he and gauri will meet frequently..wat will gauri be going through especially shiv behaviour towards her, he will be aware of this..so its likely they will become more aquainted and gauri may be will share all her feelings to him...same goes to anupam as he will be hurt learning about the affair of shiv with ipshita..i think they will share more a dard ka rishta ..it may happen anupam starts having feelings for gauri but as he is the guru of shiv so he will not show it and as you said neetu he will be the bridge between shiv and gauri and i do agree with that...if it goes the silsila way then anupam will be playing sanjeev kumar role as the friend who sympathise and advises jaya how to fight for her rights and for her husband..in the movie sanjeev's wife rekha had an affair with amitabh and here in the kaa it is shown that he has a soft corner for ipshita..so it keep us guessing..

yeah whats with the kal ho na ho music like everytime i hear it as anupam's background i feel like hes gonna drop dead any sec. i mean i love the song and all but its really depressing and sad cuz i associate it with shahrukh dying in khnh!

ya..even i felt the same when he entered the show..reminded me of khnh really..

Actually, I don't watch the show as often as I would like, but I thought that Hiten's entry was very similar to SRK's in KANK. Because SRK and Rani meet on a bench and SRK randomly starts talking to her and gives his advice to get married. Ithought it was more KANK than Kal Ho Na Ho. But I loved the background score, I think it was symbolising a new stage of Gauri's life.
