Samar and Gauri are in their room packing their bags to leave the house while the sad version of KAA plays in the background...downstairs the whole family is upset with the fact that Samar and Gauri are leaving the house....
Samar tells Gauri that this room was jaha unhone kai sapne dekhe te and this was their world...he asks her if she isn't sad that she's leaving her happiness and her world behind her..Gauri tells him that her happiness is where he is and that she's taking their love with her and going and says that as long as she has their love, she is happy..Samar tells her that thats why he calls her his himmat and tells her to never leave him alone in times of need....or else uski himmat toot jayegi...Ayush comes and tells them that the police have come...
Downstairs, Prateek has brought the police and tells them to arrest Dhruv and Vivaan for falsely taking Samar's property...Samar asks Prateek what it is that he's talking about and tells the police that nothing of that sort has happened...Gayathri bad mouths both Samar and Gauri...Prateek tells Samar that if he wants he will also witness in Court that at the time Vivaan and Dhruv had Samar sign the papers, Samar wasn't even conscious...Samar says that there is no need of doing anything like that...Gauri tells Prateek that this is their personal family problem and tells him not to interfere...Prateek feels bad and leaves the house with the cops..
Prateek is about to leave but Gauri stops him and tells him that she's sorry that she spoke to him like that and that she shouldn't have....Prateek says that its ok that she didn't want him to get involved but says that he cares for her as she is his childhood friend...he tells her that his house is always open to them and if they wanted they could always knock on his door...he tells Gauri that he'll wait for them and leaves...
Ramu kaka is packing the boys clothes and the boys ask him why he's packing their clothes...Ramu kaka tells them that they have to leave the house and when asked why, he tells them that Papa said so and thats why...The boys argue and say that they don't want to leave...Samar comes and tells them that he's participated in a game that he has to win so that they can have a bigger house with video games and pool and all fun stuff..Gauri comes there too...The kids ask him what kind of game has he participated in..Samar says that they have to act poor for a while...he says that there are rules to the game...They have to always be happy and smiling...no jagde or fightings and that they have to leave the house for that...he says that the 'score-keeper' will always be on a watch so they have to be chaukana :) the guys says that they will play according to the rules and win the maximum points...
Gauri is praying and Shyla Chachi comes and says sorry to Gauri because all of this is happening because of Vivaan and says that maybe there was a kammi in her parwarish...Gauri tells her never to doubt her upbringing and tells her that things will be OK before we know it...Shyla Chachi tells her to stay happy and always support Samar in everything he does...
Samar, Gauri and the kids (minus Shanti) are getting ready to leave the house...they say they're goodbyes to everyone while the title song of Apne plays in the background. Dadaji still tries to stop them from leaving but all that goes in vain :( Samar tells Ayush Uncle to take care of the family when they leave...Gauri takes ashirwaad from everyone and they all leave home :( as soon as Gauri steps foot out of the house, the garland on the door (im sorry, but i dont know what its called) falls down.
