Finally the show is doing justice to the name. This is a love story between Arjun and Priya. Pooja is only a pawn. Amit and Chaitra fit so well, they look and feel like natural husband and wife. Intimate scenes with PBS looked artificial sometimes. She touches without touching. Chaitra blends in so easily.
It is this month that I could say that I was glued to the TV. Usually I would skip a few days and catch up when I have some time, but not this month.
Priya expresses her love for Arjun and she also knows that he loves her so much. Then, when he shows up, she beats him up. Then in the evening, when he came home, she came to the door bouncing down the stairs with such an excitement, expectation and a beautiful smile. It was just priceless. Then she wanted to compensate for the beating, she plays a game. Comes with his dress, with a macho walk beauty pageant that would turn on any man. The walk, the moves, the glasses, her hair, her posture, her face, everything was so good. Of course, he was turned on, goes to pick her up and she suddenly turns into girlish, timid and shy. One side she wanted it, on the other side she wasn't ready for it and she was shy. Then when she gets picked up she enjoys it. So typical of loving husband and wife. It was superb. Couple of days ago, when she was chasing and hitting him, he suddenly stops, and she wonders what is going on. When he turns around, she knows she is caught and she wants to be caught. Then, when he walks backwards and falls, he catches her. The next few seconds, her face probably showed about fifty different expressions. First she was shocked, then a relief that she didn't fall. A happy feeling comes and the reality that she is at his disposal hits her. He is moving in, and she is like a prey at the mercy of the predator; but this predator, she loves and wants to be preyed on. He moves in further, and she closes her eyes and moves her face sideways in surrender - Come What May. Nothing happens, so she opens her eyes and looks straight into his eyes as he comes even closer. There is such an excitement in her eyes. There was no timidity, waiting for something to happen that she wanted it so bad, but she wants him to do it as if he is snatching it from her. The whole air around them was energized with high voltage. The moment was electrifying. Then the phone rings, and she bursts out with another priceless laughter. Was she really happy or disappointed? I think it was both, but she knows that he will be back again because love between them was very thick and hot. So the excitement goes on. The whole month they have been getting closer an inch at a time and it was beautiful.
There were so many moments like these the whole month. I can't take the whole weight of the moments in one shot, so I watch it again. Then, wait for the next day eagerly.
So, this is for the silent majority who has the taste for the good stuff. Enjoy and have fun.
