Not to be a bummer but one thing that I have got out of all the shows that I have watched * I sound like I am some pro when it comes to Indian telly * 😆 is that the makers do not pay heed to fans. Unless obviously we are talking about shows with huge ass following.
They do exactly what they intend to, however much the fans may crib and be like we dont want this. Its great you guys are trying though and I really hope your efforts bear fruit, for the sake of all our sanities.
To date I dont understand how can makers butcher their own creation but I guess they clearly understand than their business better than I do -_-

Vivaan's instinct to dismiss the marriage like that cannot be justified. OK when she spoke to PK over the phone and Amaya was harmed supposedly by PK... Fine as they already had this arrangement between them. Next time when he was shot at in the name of PK. Understandable if not justifiable.

Then he accepted his love... Had all those monologues, then all that self harm in the name of passion... And again call off the relationship when crisis strikes? Marrying her without her consent was in itself wrong but the basis on which he had steadied himself to take that decision of marriage,... the character could not have been written like that now! At least not at this juncture of the story. His was a strong characterization... There was no way he'd go back once he accepted his love.

Basically, CVs don't think!! And BV just keeps proving me wrong!!

@Bold - You are right and I can not understand why the writer is doing this to Vivaan's character.

Which is why I am trying to think of a different angle to this.
Either they edit the scene completely or he is having an emotional break down which Meera literally pushes him out of.
The equivalent of the typical slap, given when a character is hysterical.

I dont think he is going back on his feelings, his reaction to any crisis seems to be instinctual. Not saying he is justified but I have always found Vivaan to be a bit unhinged when an emotional crisis takes place. He seems to take it out on Meera, now that could be cause he somewhere takes her for granted or could be the fact that Meeras antics somehow lands him in tough situations. In a really twisted way, I find him to believe that whatever he may do, Meera will not leave him. Could write on essay on this 😆 but chandu shall spare you the pain of having to read that day . Also, Ineed to quit speaking in 3rd person 😆
Either ways, They both love each other but the basis of their relationship was never stable.
Its funny though that despite the fact that they are kinda divorced he still feels the need to break the marriage, which makes me think all this is farce. If not then like I said he is in a very bad phase emotionally and I for one would say he needs professional help. He doesnt intend to do what he does which is why he ends up repenting his actions but when faced with a crisis, he probably will again react like he did.
Its a horrible place to be in as the wife of such a man, which is why if he was a real person I'd be rushing him to a psychiatrist.

Dont hate on me in my warped up mind Vivaan makes a lot of sense 😆
Also ignore the typos, I am typing on my phone, which is such a task omg 😲

Yes that's true. They don't pay any heed but then their male leads are quite flexible as well with the "grey" part.

Here we had resourceful leads for half the part and then something else altogether for the other half. And Vivaan is like a scape goat. Just make him do the most reprehensible of actions AFTER showing the kinder, good side...And make him a neither here nor there sorta character. I mean what sort of writing is that? Pardon me if you don't like my jab on Meera😆 But they usually end up making him do something so bad, just to prove her right and evoke sympathy. Is that necessary? It is fine if they both reflect upon their mistakes and don't repeat them.

I have not seen character assassination to this level anywhere!!

About Meera dont worry I wont take any offense but I guess I sort of expect that from her and well the makers cause she is the FL 😆

I never felt Vivaan took Meera for granted but he has clearly suffered emotionally due to his childhood.

As we discussed earliar it would have been great for the writers to explore his emotional problems and it would help Meera to understand him, but the writers do not want to explore this...

Maybe not for granted then but Idk I somehow always felt that he feels that Meera wouldnt leave him. Or maybe its just me and my mahaan interpretation:p either ways, I guess it all boils down to his bad childhood which unfortunately will never be explored -_-

So not able to digest some of that the way I have read the character Chandu😲😆

We can agree on one thing tho... The writing is confusing and the arc is not being explored properly. They have taken it to a point where he appears all sorts of crazy... Everything but not a well defined character. Unfortunate for pre wedding times VK and unfair on the actor as well.
If we have to type essays explaining and justifying everything, the writer is pretty poor at her job.

Haha na its cool thats what makes fiction fun, is that its open to interpretation 😆 also, I have a habit of doing very hatke interpretations 😆
About the writing, couldnt agree more but theres only so much we can do about it :( Its like doing analysis of a character is the only way we can make the story digestible for ourselves, which is precisely why TRP is not picking up.
Auntys aint got that much time to sit and pick out the nitty gritties of an epi or a character.
The makers are doing a shoddy job both ways. The story currently is neither good enough to cater to the youth, nor tonthe TRP Audience :(

There relationship/love story was never given the time to progress before the CV s started the step mother track. They were both settled for separating happily.

We have wasted pages on how they could have used the wedding video fiasco to explore their insecurities regarding the marriage, working towards trusting each other and then introducing Vivaan's past but the writers only look at typical tracks...
