Don't ask me why is that the posts name, cause I have no clue as well but well I guess its just a fancy way of saying, Hi guys wassup šŸ˜†
So I wanted to rant a bit about Zee TV cause they are really pissing me off. I mean I don't have any respect for any of the other channels as well, but really Zee Tv is making me question my choices in life😔 I mean I did watch Mehek for a few weeks before they screwed it up and I guess I tried giving a shot to Aisi deewangi , the show before kaleerein came on air , but really I don't remember them wanting one ME or MS every week. Its like ever since they relaunched as Zee 5 and their famous aaj likhenge kal tagline, they have lost their marbles. How on earth will kaleerein ever manage to climb up the charts with nautanki like this. I really didnt want to crib and increase my bp but really you guys there is only so much nonsense viewers can put with, and no shit you guys aren't able to compete with Star Plus and Colors. Indian Tele is a mess and I should have stuck to not getting attached to a show.
But then theres meervan and it makes me sad that such a great couple is beig let down by the channel and the creatives.

Either ways I ll try and be optimistic and list down a few things i liked about mondays episode though its not much and thats maybe cause I expected more from it, but well.
Anyways, so no 1:

1. I liked arjits dialogues in that khud ko punish karo scene. It didnt have an impact on me simply cause eveything was so rushed but his dialogues like 'jisne galti ki uske aas pass ke cheezon ko samatne ki koshish kar rahi ho' were great. and indeed meera didn't give up on him even after him raising his hand on her. She even picked up his picture and tried to fix that shell that had gotten detached from the picture. She didn't throw the picture in anger or anything. To me, that speaks of their bond. She is angry, hurt and maybe even scared but I don't think she considers any of those feelings good enough to want to give up on him.

2. I loved how vivaan looked at his hand when shewas walking away before he started punishing himself. I like these subtle moments where without dialogoues they convey so much. For me in that moment he wanted to punish the hand that had intentions to hurt. And hurt he did, my god. I was cringing a bit because of the number of times he hit his hand on the glass. I was just like okk she gets it stop it already šŸ˜† and she stopped him

3. Now meeras dialogues. Like many of you i thought it was not the best dialogue and I guess it would have been more appropriate if vivaan had said, kyu roka mujhe or something but it just seemed misplaced. But I guess that right there was her saying that I forgive you. She was acknowledging the fact that he made a mistake but he also happened to be the one who stopped himself right in the nick of time from committing a crime. I don't see them getting past this anytime soon if he had ended up slapping her. But he didn't even in his anger he stopped himself from hurting her and that is why she was stopping him from punishing himself. It was almost like she was telling him not to be so hard on himself because he had it in him to stop at the right moment and repent and that was enough for her to forgive him.

4. I loved loved the line ' yeh aadat mat bigaro' and her chup karo ā¤ļø I really dont know what was there in that little scene but it was just so sad that he never had anyone tend to him and now that she was here, he was scared that he would get used to the caring, because at the end of the day he will have to leave. And her chup karo was so cute. I dont know what to interpret out of that but I loved it either ways.

5. Now KBM. A gust of wind in a room really šŸ˜† either ways , his blood was on her hand and it ended up reaching her maang when she tried to set her hair right. A monolugue would have been soone pe suhaga but since there was none, I interpreted it as follows šŸ˜† She turns around and she sees her image in the mirror and she sees the blood. What follows is her thinking how that blood was shed in the first place and she tears up becase she cares. She cares about the fact that he hurt and that he bled. She cries because she hurts when he does and to see the physical sybol of his hurt and his actions on her maang, his blood finally hits her and she tears up. But she doesn't let him see her emotions and she runs away.

6. I am sorry but the editor needs to learn editing😔 It was so badly edited that I could literally hear the 'a' when aditi was saying, kya socha tha a.. and dhan tan tan, its morning. Really you could let her complete her sentence at least. I was really looking forward to this scene and her dialogues. In the OLV, she is seen staring at vivaan, looking like a lovesick fool, which was so cute. and her dialogues started of well. Her confusion at their current predicament was being highlighted. She cant understand whats happening. Why is he affected by her silence and why does his pain bother her. They weren't supposed to be together, that's what she had thought but now why couldn't they go away from each other. Its fine, I mean I don't mind that they edited the fall but why that sleeping scene.

7. I loved how she went to him for help but then was refusing it saying hum hindustani n all šŸ˜† This irony is beautiful. She is drawn to him but at a conscious level, she would never accept it. And its beautiful how she is praying just so that she can help him. She is not being stubborn and doesn't want to prove herself right to satisfy her ego, she just wants him to be happy. Also, I love how resilient meera is and how quickly she moves on. She isn't the one to hold grudges and dwell on things. For her its like raat gayi baat gayi and I like that about her.

8. Ok so I get it that she is not formally educated in an English medium school but knowing or not knowing English does not equate to being dumb. Even if she personally never had a reason to use a laptop, the fact that they've one in the house means that her sisters use one and so she must have seen them using it. The least she should know is that you don't punch into the keyboard saying its desi style. CV's India is not what you portray it as and its frustrating that people abroad might be thinking that Indians are literally so clueless about technology. Its bad enough hollywood stereotypes us, can we please not have our own media do it as well. I have seen kids as young as 2 operating smartphones just by observing their parents. Meera must have seen her sisters do it , so why is she so clueless about a laptop. Being clueless about making an account is alright, but not punching into a laptop like that. You are literally doing the same thing all those ladke wale did with her, you are questioning her abilities to function in today's world simply based on the fact that she is not educated from an English medium school and because she cannot speak English, she cannot operate optimally in the world. This is the mentality that brings us Indians down. We question each other based on our ability to speak English. I agree its a necessity in today's globalized world but in certain parts of the country, it is still a privilege. Certain families cannot afford an education like that for their kids. But irrespective of that, it doesn't mean that they are complete nincompoops and cannot do anything else you associate with being a privilege, like working on a laptop.
But no point of me ranting I guess. I can understand innocence selling, god knows whats so attractive about a woman who is essentially being portrayed as dumb, as harsh as that might sound.

7. Loved how meera was the first one to look up at him and be aware of his physical proximity to her. The highlight though was nahi achi lag raho ho and meeras little smirk ā¤ļø Vivaan looked so uncomfortable though and I was like aww. I wouldn't say he was outright jealous but he looked sooo uncomfortable and just idk clueless, maybe a bit taken aback as well šŸ˜†

I can only wish they had done justice to these beautiful people with a well paced story. They do have a plot but for the life of me, I don't understand whats the rush.
Btw can anyone give me links to aditi and arjits insta stories, I am not insta but would love to see what they posted 😊

Hope there's an epi tonight 😭

Chandu 😊

Hi, I've been watching the show but new to this forum. Just wanted to say lovely post and totally agree about the editing! Zee's mahasangrams are ruining the flow of Kaleerein's narrative anyway, but on top of that the show's editing is also getting on my nerves :(

In this ep, like you said the biggest pet peeves were the missing sleep hug that would have provided context for why Meera ended up on the couch with Vivaan, and her cut short dialogue where she was musing about their growing closeness.

However just wondering if anyone else also cringed during the tod-phod scene? I feel like they should have let Meera step out of the room, then have Vivaan start wrecking his hand.

The way the scene was shown Meera was still in the room, which I didn't like because on some level it implied Vivaan was wanting to show her how hurt he was because she was withholding her forgiveness, thus making the issue about himself rather than her feelings. I mean I KNOW that's not what Vivaan was doing but because of how the scene was shown it could be taken that way, which messes his characterisation as someone who thinks of others before he thinks of himself (as demonstrated by how he is with Amaya and also the countless times he's been discrete and supportive regarding Meera & fam).

If they'd just let Meera step out and then he started his angst-induced tod-phod, thinking he is alone the scene would have worked way better. And then have Meera turn on hearing the table lamp fall, yell to stop him, and stand in front of him. The stand in front of him bit I liked because non-verbally it implied that she knew he had enough control of himself back then and also has that control now. It was a neat way of 'showing rather than telling'. Like you all, I also thought the "nahin rukte tou nahin rokti" dialogue was clumsily written. I got the sentiment. I liked that she drew the line there - that if he wasn't the kind of person who knew his limits she wouldn't even bother with him. But yeah clumsily phrased.

Highlight in the ep for me was Vivaan's monologue in the car regretting his actions and the marham-patti wala scene where he says she shouldn't help him lest he get used to it. It took me back to that mehndi ep where he was bandaging his hand in the room alone and she walked in with a bloodied hand too and he didn't even think where their dynamic was at before instinctively leaping up to clean her wound. It's those nurturer tendencies of his, no doubt a result of raising Amaaya, that I just adore.

p.s. Forgot to say, I also disliked Meera's grating ineptness with the laptop. They said she completed her BA via Correspondence... surely in Punjab colleges these days you have to submit your coursework electronically! So hence she should know how to use a laptop :/ They could have just shown the same scene except have her drag him over so he can input his password and unlock his laptop for him. Then have the application hang or some anti-virus message show up which she doesn't know how to deal with and hence he draws his arm around her to work on showing her how to fix that. Seriously... it's these little things that could make the story feel subtle rather than like hammer-anvil types.

That day the content and intentions were good but execution and editing was super bad..they could have presented those emotions in such a good way but failed miserably..i agree with all the posts in the topic..That aditi's dialogue looked so dramatic and she didnt just live upto the expectation in that scene..arjit was really good though..
I so wanted to see the chest pulling scene..and they cut it..i dnt know but from the time i started watching kaleering i always liked their editing..but dont know whats happening since few days..they r messing up..and the last epi was totally ruined by bad editing..

They shud include more family scenes with meervan..it gives a nice Vibe..marriage track was so soo good..roma just put a break on the rising show..now they r suffering..hope it rises again..
