in the show with the supporting characters behaviour they are indeed proving that girls in tier 2 cities or middle class girls in india are gold digger.
Is it just me or someone else who at times don't like supporting cast specially her mom🤔 At times she is too loud. & for your line I would just say every coin has two sides.
I don't like this point of writers.
only meera is the sunshine and the other ladies are all planners to trap rich guys.

in todays times no matter how much learned the girl is or how much sanskaari the girl is they observe few things
1.the boy should be rich + handsome.
2. if not handsome, atleast rich
3. no big families or unwed sisters.
I would go with handsome thing only that too to some extent only. I believe that girls must be independent and it should not matter to them who they are marrying except that the person they are marrying is good in behavior, respects her and her choices and will support & love her till the end & belongs to a good family. A good family here is the family in which everyone respects each other and lives with love and respect in between them. Rich or not should not be even in the question. I just love big families to the core
& Sisters of groom are just friends. Even we too are sisters of someone na.
even i might identify with one of the points above.
