This is to appreciate a Lady who probably didn't need to take mannats or shout out in media about her love for this show . She was the woman who worked hard, let others walk away with credits and yet never protested or uttered one undignified word or flaunted her hardwork .
I don't even have words honestly to write about her hardwork , struggles..all of us saw her do that. Be it fighting for the show, handing this crazy annoying cast to fending off people who kept on sabotaging the show . ( For further reference please check the Merger Mess😳)

Richa,

Thank You for being you. You didn't need to tell us how many days you worked, or how you sacrificed your health, personal life to put this show every week dealing with issues and stress that wasn't and shouldn't be part of your job.

We also don't need your interviews to understand your wisdom especially when teh idea of ANYONE hiring Kriss as Nandu is not just laughable but umm lets not even bother then.

it's a pity who take Mannats for this show neglected the flag show of Mtv which was even under their home production . Sad, what a loss for mtv - 2 seasons straight.

Anyway, this isn't about the Man who claims but the "Woman" who did it all.

2 years eh? I hope you are chilling and enjoying the popcorn drama because your show is a gift that keeps on giving. I still say, you should have put it on web the BTS of it ..would have been trp topper too.

But KY2 was your baby and will always be your baby. You know, we know and the world knows. We are laughing together at this joke. 😆

You know I am ruined, I don't think i can enjoy or invest in a show like I did with Ky2 ..it was all because of you. For me, it has always been about you and your team. Every weekend, every mess..to set it apart and to fight for what you believed in wasn't easy.

I have seen numerous examples of "torture at work", "women empowerment"..but nobody really gets to see how tough it would have been to manage all this mess off-screen and yet deliver to the promises made to the fans. What else exemplifies women empowerment but you.

In this game of , "he did that" or "she did that"..one thing is still ABOVE it all...MaNan..your babies and only USP of KY2. Did you hear , apparently feb5 was the selling point..yeah that one..awesome joke na? Do share a laugh.

Anyway, I can go on and on about you and what you did..but nothing will engulf the love I have for you and the respect you so deserve.

Big Cheers to your team, writers, background crew, ADs, spotboys and everyone..for Ky2 fandom especially for me ..crew >>>>>>>>>>>>cast .

Thank You , Again, RY.

You created magic and a fairytale.

Posts like these actually make me come back to the IF.
Thank you Richa Maam, although the show is gone, long gone with the end of season one, the episodes and memories remain with us, making us cherish each and every one of them.
Long live MaNan and well, RIP FAB 5 🤣

Hahahaha That's how we believe in taking out our frustration and anger. We take the productive route.

So I hear someone is at it yet again? I thought someone was preaching about "Moving on" and all the jazz few weeks back...?

But then we know that person in and out now. Don't we? So we know how stuck up that person is. Only if that person realized barking like a mad dog and begging for appreciation/credit will do nothing, but yet again prove who has done what and how much.

Guess the Ky2 2 year celebration and accolades and appreciation to richa and team didn't go down well with someone. How are we not surprised at all ? Now lets have some mercy on the "bechara" Mannat wala creator of the show. I am thankful to him that he worked so much on a Korean show inspired script, which had not been Richa and team would have become another superstitious alien show and become Fanaah in the initial months itself.

I am not taking away any credit from him for his contribution towards making the show be part of our lives, but well it was Richa and team that gave LIFE to the show. Most of all our MaNan.

Having been part of Production and a producer myself for a short while i know the difficulties, challenges the producer has to go through. Especially Indian teen fiction shows.

With a cast as awesome as this one, where each member had their own set of issues with each other and can be any producer's nightmare, this female took all their crap and made sure to not let it affect our concerned characters Manik and Nandini, her babies.

Richa never begged or asked for any appreciation, respect or credit. In fact she chose to make her team's work talk and earn our trust & respect unlike others.

Not saying she hasn't faltered or flawed, but she made us all a part of the show, made us feel important and never took us for granted. She made us, this fandom her strength.

She and her team gave us our babies who are deeply etched in our hearts. She gave us a fairy tale that made us all happy, that made us believe in them again and Hope.

Had I been a producer of this show, I might have given up on the show and the cast long time back. God so much drama everyday. Someone is being blackmailed or someone is getting influenced, or someone is on a ego trip or sharpening their boot licking skills or trying to play safe and keep quiet. Basically screwed up lot.

In trying to play who did what for the show, someone isn't realizing they are making a joke of themselves. Now I get why I get a deja vu feeling when I hear few of the cast members sing songs of how much they sacrificed and did for the show. Well Mentor like Mentee.

Thank you Richa Yamini and her whole Team for taking so much trouble and making us your strength. We love you people and for what you did for us. Not putting you on a pedestal, but just letting you know I am only concerned with what how much you did for the show and us and never imposed it on us. Thank you for being you.

That dumb cast and their Stans who think RY sidelined Nandini ...then threy probably forget what the shit happened during Merger..who sidelined feb5 to go with MaNan..but yeah in the era of stanning who would use dumb logic.

I don\t effing give a flying eff for who you worship . But to shut logic , pretend to be ignorant for a celeb who gives no shit is pathetic.

If ever there has been a battle for a woman against all odds- it was only RY.

Only Her.

Btw- Correct me if I am wrong, Niti has always been vocal how Veebha and she were the first locked choices. Again and again but yes, not we will flip the playbook because "Mannat boy wins".

You go win it all, RY.

Winners dont do different things, they just do things differently

Thank you, Richa...for picking up this absolutely redundant concept of tortured loner boy meets bubbly stranger girl (regardless of whose idea it was) and weaving it into this beautiful blanket of memories that we proudly call MaNan. MaNan is not simply a story, its a phenomenon of what love is, its the very definition of love that would appeal to people of our age, it was MaNan that spoke to them, not the concept...and there can be only one MaNan. So no matter who takes the credit for coming up with the idea, it is what became of the idea that matters the most.

Winners dont do different things, they just do things differently

Thank you, Richa...for not using the USP of your lead couple- their chemistry to provide us with shoddy plotlines. No matter who was responsible for the casting, it is what you did with the cast that matters. There are many who are lazy enough to sell the couple based on a couple of hawt scenes and attract the attention of audiences- hornones to the rescue! But you did not...you made sure that their chemistry became the strength of their characters and not the weakness of your script.

Winners dont do different things, they just do things differently

Thank you, Richa...for not giving up on the insanely immature cast and production house. Than you for putting your love for the characters and the show beyond your differences for other things- trust me, not everybody can do that- heck, in the KY2 world there is only one person who has managed to do that and that person is you.

Winners dont do different things, they just do things differently

Thank you, Richa...for being so kind, patient, motivational and brave enough to inspire your lead actress to pick up the role as the narrator of the story. Thank you for sitting through the tantrums, tribulations and all that is to be expected with such a whiny cast, and managing their many different moods and behaviours, holding them all together and selling the show for one whole year. It is no mean feat and let nobody tell you otherwise.

Winners dont do different things, they just do things differently

Thank you, Richa...for being so generous as to indulge our many different aspirations and dreams for YOUR couple and to make us feel that they are OUR OWN instead. Many creative directors look back for feedback, but there is only one person I know who has managed to incorporate the feedback and include the audience in the driving of the show.

Winners dont do different things, they just do things differently

Many shows of this genre come and go, but how is it that this show and MaNan have managed to remain in our hearts, months after the show has ended. As Manik himself says "we might walk awaz once in a while, but we cannot stay away". Its only and only because of you, Richa. The stupid cast does not realise what they have delivered, because they are too blinded by prejudice and success. And if at all they do, it is only and only because of the love of the audience, which in the first place was possible due to you. But let that not hamper you from feeling proud about what you did with this show. You changed lives, you brightened up people's days.. you have raised the bar for Indian shows so high that now, none of the show ever appeals to us.

Winners dont do different things, they just do things differently

Lastly, Richa...thank you, for handling this with so much dignity and class, for not stooping down to the levels of your peers. This made us regain our belief in professionality and makes us trust and even hope in the forum of Indian television again. So thank you, for helping your peers look good.

We wish you load of success in all your future endeavours and hope that we can cross paths with each other again- it would be a priviledge.

Richa,

Ever since I came across KY2, I've been wanting to reach out to you some way and thank you.
Thank you for giving MaNan, for that is what hooked me to KY2. Thank you for your vision which weaved a fairytale so real it'll be remembered for a long long time. Thank you for being honest to Manik and Nandini both coz there's no Manik if there's no Nandini and vice versa. Thank you for constantly fighting for us, the fans, and keeping your work above all the offscreen mess. And most of all Thank you for giving your all to KY2 and MaNan and never complaining.

Dogs shall keep on barking. You just need your work to speak for itself.

You are class, Richa. And I absolutely adore you and your work. Here's wishing you and your team more and more success.

All the best and lots of love!

The first shout out... Yay!!! Genie ma is back with all the wisdom and sass.. Missed you and also missed coming to this Forum. Deciding to sneak in today has proved to be worthwhile...

If you want something said, ask a man; if you want something done ask a woman -- Margaret Thatcher

So apt in this situation, ain't it??? At one extreme we had Richa who slogged day in and day out without blowing her own trumpets or asking for accolades or expecting others to sing paeans of her sacrifices. I cannot even imagine the plight she must have undergone while working with one of the most disorganized production houses and some of the most immature star cast...

And then there is this self established pioneer, a self proclaimed sage with his mannats...Some people do sacrifice their own children for their mannat..I might find it macabre, but for mannat walas, it is the most sublime offering... Perhapa, these big rituals are beyond the comprehension of petty minds like mine... Phew!!! Who said the world out there is fair???

Keep writing Genie!!! Your words make tours to the Forum worthwhile!!

P.S : The second shout out to RY for her vision, hardwork and magic she created in form if KYY and Manan!! May God bless her!!!

so finally if lets me load this post! whats with if n being problematic??
anyway coming to richa, we all know shes the reason ky2 was what it was, she is the reason manan are loved n still remembered today!! two years down the line and after endless drama form this cast and a certain vikass no stone upturned to ruin the show n its memories for us! the only reason we are able to hold to manan is because this woman worked hard enough to take manan above their shitty drama. and that is why i will always be thankful to her.

that someone who had kept mannats for the show also left this show mid way and tried to totally runin it more than once, like the merger n then RY n her team did damage control and gave us one of the most brilliant scenes that we even cherish today. now to think of it the amount of stress n pressure she might have had to deliver those scenes !!!!
shes a gem and the work n effort shes put in this show is because she genuinely loved it and i totally respect her for that.
shes a wonderful woman and creative n she doesn't need to do all these PR stunts coz her work speaks for its self.
even tho the cast is too tangled in their stupid egos and chamchgiri we know better!!! and no allu chalu person can write paid articles and tell us otherwise!

RY is amazing n beyond. period.

The ones who actually KNOW what KY2 is all about. The ones who LOVED the show and the characters beyond fiction and fictional characters. The ones who fought for the show and stood by it like rocks during its lowest lows and ups KNOWS KY2 IS RICHA AND HER TEAM. It's their sheer hard work, their creativity, their attachment , their respect for their audience . They were, are and always will be the face and heart of KY2 and MaNan. And that's all MATTERS.

WE LOVE YOU YAAR.

Rest, who shamefully attach themselves with it and take false credits are WORTH NOTHING.

I can't thank RY enough for doing such an amazing job with KY2, she made a simple love story magical - that was her power, the way she got PaNi to become MaNan that shows you her capability. How can he continue to undermine her efforts, what is his problem?!?!?!

I found out about the show after it was over but reading old thread it is evident that she fought for the show and made sure she got to tell their story her way. That is what you call a creator, not someone who leaves and tries to sabotage the very show he harps on about keeping a mannat for. Look at the show in S1 and S2, in fact leave S2, look at the last 20 episodes of S1, despite having a brief outline on what to do they couldn't even get the show to be 1% of what RY had done previously.

RY is the person who made the show, W*F is this guy's problem, the show is done with and he has been put in his place many times by various people yet he loves making a fool out of himself.

Every time I've heard people say Uttu was first chosen for Manik, I can't help but just 🤣. Show wouldn't have lasted a month. Uttu was too young, lol yeah sure that's the only reason, yeah just keep telling people that. 🤪

LOL please RY was the one that chose Parth as Manik, VG still has sour grapes that KY2 became a bigger hit then Fanaah and WH. And this show was the show he kept a mannat for, lol what a joke if that is so, why did he treat this show like shit, taking all the creative team with him for his new show, why was he more focused on fanaah. This show was hardly marketed in comparison to his other shit shows. LOL Kriss as Nandini, wasn't it said that Niti was the first person to be cast, so where does Kriss even come in.

Richa gave us our hamesha and for that we will love her hamesha. ⭐️❤️

She was the star and fireflies that made MaNan so perfect.
