CONNECTED HEARTS NOTE ON PAGE 13 (29 JUNE)

The whole world was stuck in front of the televisions and those who don't have television were sitting in front of the radio and listening to the cricket commentary and why will they not listen as it was the world cup final match and that too it was between India and Pakistan.

India was batting and they need 20 runs in just 3 balls and it was not easily possible as Pakistan's top most bowler was bowling there and there is two well reputed and most eligible bachelors on the bat from India and they were none other than Indian team Captain MANIK MALHOTRA and vice captain ABHIMAMYU MURTHY and manik was at strike.

The bowler ran with full speed and threw the bowl and manik hits the ball with full speed and it directly fell in the gallery and all the Indian fans were now dancing and all were happy as they thought they almost lost the match and this six gave them a little hope.

Manik and abhi passed smiles to eachother and manik was ready to face the next ball and he always believed in the line IT IS NOT OVER UNTIL ITS OVER and he is so confident that they are gonna win the world cup today and will give their nation the pride after nearly 10 years.

Next ball also manik landed in the stands and all the fans were dancing and now they were ready to welcome the cup but getting an 8 runs in a single ball is next to impossible.

Next ball and it was final ball and the bowler delivered it and manik dived the ball and took a single and he sat in the ground as he was not able to make his nation proud of his team and he was having tears in his eyes which he were hiding a lot and his thoughts were stopped when he heard shouting like hell and he looked what happened and he saw the umpire was showing no ball sign and this made his happiness grew and this also shows they have a ball left and it was a free hit now and they need 6 runs in 1 ball.

Manik moved towards abhi as now abhi was in strike

M: abhi sunn we have to make it and make our nation proud and give them the happiness they deserve

Ab: yah manik we have to do this or die it is do or die for us

M: yeah hit it

Abhi nodded his head and went to take the strike and as the ball was a free hit there was no chance for anyone to out except run out and abhi's mind was fixed to hit a six by any means.

The bowler came and threw the ball and abhi lifted it in hair and it was an slow speed and as it was straight it directly landed on the stands and gave India a great win and cup too.

Later at the presentation ceremony manik was awarded with the man of the series and man of the match award and the host asked him for an interview
