Chapter 13- Beauty With Brains!
Manik's POV..
"Accept my regards! The Leader of Eagle of Rose! Rouge!" HIS words were not a much shock for me but I wasn't expecting it so soon..
Aryaman..
"I thought you won't come out of your house because of the shame!" I mocked at him because I wasn't scared of dying..
"Wow Manik! Like wow!" Aryaman clapped at me with an amazed face. "You are bounded with this tree and still you have the guts to mock at Aryaman Khurana!" He spoke in a sarcastic tone and I chuckled..
"If you think that am scared of you? Then you are wrong!" I told him in a friendly tone and this time he laughed nodding his head..
"I know singer boy! I know that you aren't scared!" He appreciated me with full heart smiling evilly at me and I just gritted my teeth quietly struggling with the ropes without coming in the notice.
"Won't you ask how will I get to know your tiny little pinky secret?" He asked with fake innocence and his men also came with guns in hands.
Fu*ker!
"Chal main khud bata deta hoon!" He said folding his hands on his chest and I just kept quiet..
"There is only one person who can fight with the whole world for Murthy girl and that is you!" He was telling me his achievement with a proud and I didn't give a sh!t to it. "So rougues aur tj main kya connection hai! Ya jan'na was a piece of cake!" He said shrugging his shoulders and I turned my face away in disgust before turning back..
"Yeah! How can I underestimate a Khurana?" I asked in a super sarcastic tone and Aryaman winked at me.
Just free my hands and then talk..
"Tu mard ka bacha ni hai Aryaman! Himat hai tou hath khool na mery! Let's have a man to man fight!" I mocked at him and he chuckled.
"Do I look like a fool to you ehh? You want me to free a Kung Fu black belt master??" He asked coming close to me and I just wanted to punch him straight in nose. "Now! I will kill you bit by bit!" He said placing his hand beside my head on the tree and I chuckled..
"I AM NOT SCARED OF DYING KHURANA!" I told him coldly and he slammed his fist beside my head in frustration and then turned back to me.
His eyes had something. He bent near my ear and the words he whispered caused the cold sweat broke on my forehead. The words were:
"I am not talking about you Manik! Am taking about YOUR lady love! YOUR Nandini!"
"You Coward! $on of a b!tch!" I shouted restlessly wriggling aimlessly in between the ropes and he slapped my face hard..
"Don't abuse my mother!" He shouted and my blood boiled..
"Wow! It hurts na? It hurts to hear even a single word against your mother! Just think! Your father had rapped my mother to death! She was carrying a little babygirl in her womb!!!" I couldn't resist but to scream in so much pain as the memories of that night flashed in my head and he stared at me for a moment before mumbling a 'liar' under his breath. "It's not a lie! Ask your father! That oldie! Sick man killed my father too!" I again shouted and he shook his head..
He is not gonna believe me! I know..
Father and son will die from my hands..
But what about Nandini?
"Aur Haan! Agr MERI Nandini ko hath bhi lagaya na!! Tou jaan lay loon gaa!" I roared like lion and he was laughing now!!
Moron! bas***d!!!
"Haaah Manik! TERI Nandini kay sath aj wo sab karoon ga kay tu yaad rakhy ga aur wo bhi teri ankhon kay samny!" He spoke in the bitterest tone possible and my heart sank..
"Get her!" He gestured to his men and they run towards the tree house..
I just hope my buddies come and Nandini stay strong!
I trust you my love and my buddies!
Till then I will free myself from the ropes...
I need to stay calm...

Nandini's POV..
Its so long that Manik has gone.
Was he okay? A sudden panic rushed through me and my fists tightened..
Should I go and search for him?
No! He had strictly forbidden me! I can't afford him to get more angrier..
But..
Before I could think further Manik's cell started ringing it made me jump in fear but I calmed down. I climbed the stairs and rushed to get it..
Harshad Bro..
The name was flashing on the screen. I answered the call and before I could say anything..
"Manik!! Chotay? Just run! Nandini ko lay aur wahan say bhag!" He was panting and his voice was panic filled..
"Bhai?? It's me Nan-nandini!" I stammered and he sucked a sharp breathing swearing heavily..
"Where is Manik?" He demanded and I shivered..
Something bad was coming up..
"Wo! He is out in the jungle!" I told him hell scared..
"Fu*king hell!!!" He roared from other side and I held the bed post to stay steady..
"Nandini! Aryaman is in the jungle! He got to know about us! Our secret! He is behind you and Manik! Listen to me! Search for something sharp and leave the house! We all are coming! Find Manik!" He told me in a serious tone and I felt that I will faint with anxiety..
"Bh-bhai! Mj mj say ni ho ga!!" I told him breathlessly..
"Nandu listen! You have to be strong! For Manik! You are his girlfriend na! Prove it! Make yourself the queen of the situation! Manik trusts you! And we all too! Just do it with bravery!" He said in an assuring tone and hung up..
Can I really do this??
I saved myself from being raped once that doesn't mean I can do it again and again?? Can I??
I sat on the floor and took deep breaths..
"Search for something sharp!"
Bhai's words echoed in my ears and with trembling legs I got up..
I can't just sit here and wait for Aryaman to come and rape me?.
Suddenly I felt determined..
I walked around in the house hastily and searched for a chef knife. I had seen Manik using it while cutting vegetables. It was sharp enough to harm someone badly...
With a throbbing heart I came out of the tree house and fastly run towards the closest tree possible. Soon I took it's cover and took deep breaths..
Stay strong...
I am Manik's strong girl..
If I will run just like this... Like taking covers of trees on every step it will be more safer. Yeah that's right...
I was about to run more when I heard footsteps. My gaze followed the voice and I saw four people entering our tree House. They had guns..
Thank God I came out in time.
But there was no Aryaman in them! Then where was he? And Manik??
When they all entered the treehouse I run as fast as I could and stopped when the treehouse was out of sight.
I thought that I will have a heart attack due to fear but I was determined to save US!
I slowly and carefully walked. The kitchen knife was gripped in my hand tightly and I was fully aware of my surroundings..
When suddenly I heard familiar shouts..
Manik and...Aryaman..
My heart jumped in my throat and I very slowly stepped on the crumbled leaves.
I was totally hidden behind a big tree and peeked from it to see Aryaman talking to Manik..
"Your father is a killer!" Manik shouted and I realized that he was standing on the either side of the tree.
Why isn't he grabbing Aryaman's collars?
Something was wrong. I trailed my free hand over the tree and soon my hand touched a rope!
My mind processed and I realized that this was the reason of Manik not grabbing to Aryaman's neck.
With heart hammering in my chest I gripped the knife tightly in my hand and started cutting the rope..
I just hope we made through it..

Manik's POV..
He was ranting and talking all rubbish which was boiling my head. I was constantly struggling to free myself from those bloody roles which were almost loosened. A little more struggle and I will be free when suddenly his men came running. They didn't had Nandini with them..
My heartbeat quickened..
"Boss! She wasn't there!" One of his men announced and I smirked..
She saved herself..
My love! Am so proud of you..
"What!!!?? Where is she!?" Aryaman roared looking at me and I shrugged with an innocent pout..
"I don't know! She was there when I left! Well you know she is my girlfriend! She sensed danger and saved herself!" I told him with a proud and suddenly I felt the ropes loosened fully.
How did that happened??
I didn't move my hands. Aryaman didn't notice because he was so much into scolding his men.
I need to think.
His men had guns and they won't hesitate to fire at me. I needed to think carefully..
I needed to get out of here alive..
"What happened Aryaman?? Your loyal dogs failed to search for her? Why don't you go and search all by yourself!" I mocked him once again and the next thing he did was to pullout a gun from his pocket and pointed at me..
"Tell me where she is?" He shouted loading the gun..
"I told you! I don't know!" I said in a light tone and he gritted his teeth..
It wasn't a lie I really didn't know where she was. But I had a trust on her.
My heart was telling me that wherever she was! She was strong and safe..
"Stop acting so calm! Fear me!" He barked jerking his gun more in front of me and I kept mum.
My hands were free..
But...
If the men shouldn't have guns I would have jumped on them..
"I will count till five! Tell me where she is or else the bullet will penetrate straight in your heart!" He threatened me and I made a bad face..
He wasn't going to kill me for sure..
But I can't afford a serious injury right now!..
"One! Two! Three! Four! Fi--!" Before he could complete his count he was interrupted by a famine voice which froze me on my place..
"Wait! Stoppp! Don't!" Fu*k!! Nandini!!
She came out from back of my tree and stood in front of me guarding me. She the chef knife in her hand from our kitchen.
I just wanted to scold her so much..
"Nandini!!! What the heck are you doing here!??" I whisper-yelled at her and she turned to me showing me her eyes..
She then turned back to Aryaman and her next move left me baffled which was she went running into Aryaman and hugged him tightly..
"Aryaman!! Thank God you came to save me!" She spoke dramatically and I took a deep sigh..
Her drama was on...
She was upto something..
Her this statement left Aryaman baffled and he reluctantly held her back which burned something inside me...
"What do you mean??" He asked in a shocked tone and she backed off from the hug.
"What should I tell you?? Am so sorry! Am so sorry for everything!!" She said in fake tears and I was laughing inside.
Why was she doing that drama?
"This Manik Malhotra! He has blackmailed me!" She accused me dramatically and Aryaman stared at her like an idiot..
People says that a woman can roll the world on her finger! I never believed in that quote but today there was no doubt in that...
Now I gussed it! She was doing this drama to take out sometime so that my buddies come...
Smart ass! Akhir girlfriend kis ki hai..
Should I join in the drama...?
Yeah why not!!
"What the hell???" I too shouted in the same dramatic tone and Nandini turned to me with wide eyes..
"Blackmail??" Aryaman asked in a shock tone and I masked a hell angry face..
"Yes! He asked me to be his girlfriend or else he threatened me to kill you! I was so so scared for you!" She said in a shattered tone and I was so amused..
"You liar! I never blackmailed you!" I said angrily and she gestured me..
I got her plan..
"Stop this drama of yours! I know you guys are making me fool!" Aryaman shouted but Nandini's loud wail forced him to stop when she cried more loudly..
"You have to trust me! Whatever I did was for you!" She said in a loud crying tone and walked on Aryaman's back. His men were standing lazily and were enjoying the show.
As soon as Nandini reached Aryaman's back she winked at me and Aryaman's attention on me was diverted I kicked his hand which had the gun, the gun flew in the air and next second I caught it. While Nandini placed the knife on Aryaman's back and we turned to his men.
They were pointing towards us and I pointed the gun at Aryaman's head. Nandini exhaled loudly and hide behind my back quickly. I was gripping to Aryaman's neck tightly..
"Now now! Look who's in control haan? Wanna shot at me? Come on do it! But the first hit will be at your boss!" I said in a cold tone and Aryaman gulped..
Suddenly we heard footsteps and soon my buddies came in our sight. The next thing they did was to fight with those four while I also kicked Aryaman..
Nandini stood with her back plastered to the tree and eyes wide..
It was her first experience to witness us like this..
We all were fighting like crazy I must say the opponents were tough..
The guns were forgotten business at least that's what I thought but..
"Harshad bhaaai!! Watch out!!!" Nandini shouted her lungs out and I turned to see one of the man standing with the gun pointing towards Bro..
I cursed and grabbed another gun from the ground..
Before he could pull the trigger, I did and the man was lying on the ground dead..
Aryaman's other three men turned towards me and I pointed the gun at them..
While Abhi, Cabir and Dhruv were beating the hell out of Aryaman.
Harshad bhai rushed towards Nandini who was almost fainted on the site of so much blood..
"Bhai! Bhai he...is...dead...manik killed him!" She ranted staring at Bro's face and he came in front of her blocking her site..
That's why I wanted her away from all this..
I never wanted her to witness my this sight..
She was a girl with pure heart and I know it will be difficult for her to digest all this..
"Don't beat him to death!" I shouted at Abhi, Dhruv and Cabir who were on verge of killing Aryaman. Abhi and Dhruv stopped but Cabir was unstoppable..
"His father killed my father!!!" Cabir shouted and his eyes had tears..
"Cabir!!! Leave him! He is not gonna die such easy death!!!" I growled at Cabir and he pushed Aryaman away then backed off wiping his teary eyes with the back of his hand..
"You three! Dare not to act smart or else I won't take a single second to kill you all just like the way I killed your friend!!" I threatened other three and they gulped nodding their head..
"Take them to the basement! It's enough now!" I said coldly glaring at Aryaman and suddenly the thunderstorm broke on the sky..
"Ahhh!! Aaa!" Nandini started screaming once again and I closed my eyes before tossing the gun at Cabir..
Bro was still trying to calm her down..
I walked to them and placed my hand on Harshad's shoulder.
"Only you can handle her!" He said to me and Nandini stared at my face..
"Take them with you and wait for me in the basement! It's pay back time!" I said to Harshad and he nodded backing off..
I came in front of Nandini and held her hands which were fisted so tightly that her knuckles were turned white.
"Angel!" I called her and she stared in my eyes.
"He...he is dead!" She mumbled and I cupped her cheeks..
"This is the real me Nandini! A devil! But trust me! These hands! My hands will never harm you or any other innocent! These hands are to protect you! You want our enemies to suffer right?" I asked in a serious tone and she nodded frantically..
"Then allow me to destroy them in a worst possible way!!" I told her and she fisted to my hands tightly..
She was swaying..
Before she could fall I scooped her in my arms and she held me in her death grip..
My buddies were on their work. Before she could see the corpse again I told her to look at me...just at me...
We had long way to go...

I splashed a bucket of ice cold water at Aryaman's face and he woke up with a jerk..
It's been three days since the last encounter..
Suresh Khurana was going crazy on his son's absence..
Police was in the whole town searching for rogues. Tv news channels were burning the screens..
Everyone was talking against rogues..
But rogues knew how to defend themselves..
We were undercover now..
Till then we have to decide how to attack Khurana's hideouts..
Moreover the human trafficking business, we have to break through it..
Three years ago we had collected a handsome money and had built a underground basement. It was in the jungle itself little far from Mumbai actually..
Nobody knew about it..
It was kinda underground house.
We knew that a time will come when the whole world will be against us..
I grabbed Aryaman's chin and slapped his face..
"Speak up!!" I roared..
"Tell me the address of the headquarters! The human trafficking business!!" I shouted at him but his lips were sealed.
"Look mate!! It's enough of your sh!t! Speak up or else I will make your each cell burn with pain!" I shouted so loud that my voice echoed through the basement..
"I won't tell you!" He cried in pain as I cut a mark on his arm with my knife.
"Fine with me! Don't tell!" I said shrugging my shoulders and then suddenly I pierced my whole knife in his hand. He screamed like a maniac but I didn't pull out the knife..
"Aww! Does it hurt??" I asked in a poor tone tching at him and he just cried in pain..
"Your screams! These are sounding music to my ears! Kindly keep screaming!" I said patting his cheeks affectionately and then finally pulled the knife out..
I knew it must hurt like sh!t but I didn't care..
My revenge was so near and I wasn't gonna stop...
It wasn't only my revenge... It was for all five of us..
I tossed the knife at Abhimanyu this time who was standing quietly behind me with his hands folded in respect..
"Have some fun buddy! Just don't kill him!" I said to him and patted his shoulder..
His cold stare at Aryaman shook me too..
The physical and sexual abuse he bear during his kidnapping had made him the heartless..
I walked up the stairs and came out.
Cabir, Dhruv and Harshad were sitting in the lounge..
"Harshad! Go and keep an eye on Abhimanyu! Make sure he don't kill Aryaman in his fury!" I said to him and he nodded..
"Aye captain!" He said getting up and I walked to my room to have a shower..
I was sweating..
Among five of us only it was me and Harshad who had a self control to not to kill our enemy so soon. Other three used to lose their self control...
Other three people of Aryaman didn't know anything. They were the men who used to work blindly without asking for anything..
I came our of the shower and was combing my hair when I heard Nandini shouting..
What the hell is she doing here??
I was really angry now. I almost stormed towards the lounge and saw her in the worst angry mode..
"Nandini!! Myny bola tha na not to come here!! What if someone harm you?? I told you not to leave your house!" I shouted at her and the next moment she threw few papers on my face which felt more like a slap..
"Ap ki hamesha khud say assume karny aur decide karny ki adat kab jye ge??" She shouted pushing me away and I stared at her. "I promised to support you in everything then how dare you to decide for me!!" She screamed again and I tried to say something but..
"Not a word Mr.Malhotra!! I AM NOT GOING TO FRANCE!! Specially ap k kehny par tou bilkul bhi nahi! Smjhy appp??" She shouted like a stubborn child and tear the airplane ticket to france in pieces..
And I sighed...
She was so stubborn...
