CHAPTER 44
M. G. College, 05:30pm.
After finishing her last lecture nandini came out of the college a bit early today. She came out from the gate and was about to call cabir when she saw a blind man was not able to cross the path because of heavy traffic. So she decided to help him first. She went towards him and helped him in crossing the path but then when she reached to help him suddenly she saw a car coming towards them in super speed. And before she could understand anything the car hit her in side way and she fell on the road unconscious.
The guards who were watching the scenario ran towards her and took her to the city hospital. They didn't call manik because they were actually scared of manik's wrath.
After the car hit nandini, it stopped a little far away from the spot and driver came out of the car. He made a call and said "Sir. I did what you had said. That girl will not be that much injured but she would have got small bruises on her body." on other side of the phone came a voice of a man "Well done. Now you are free." Saying this he cut the call.
City Hospital, 07:00 pm.
FAB 4 came to the city hospital in jet speed as navya went towards home with abeer as hospital won't allow small babies in special ward. They came running towards the special ward and as soon as they saw guards, cabir ran towards him and angrily held his collar while shouting "You moron... Tumhe yaha nandu ka khyal rakhne ke liye rakha tha na manik ne... To fir nandu ka accident kese huwa han... how can you be so careless... I won't spare you..." while saying this his eyes were spitting fire. He was actually worried for his baby sister and more than that he was worried about his buddy. How will he gonna tell manik about this. And manik's reaction after hearing about nandini will be really really unrespectable.
Saying this he tried to punch him hard on his face but dhruv held his hand and said "Cabir... cabir... ruk... iswakt nandu ko hamari zyada zarurat hei... hame uske pas chalna chahiye..." Cabir left him while glaring at him and meanwhile doctor came from the room. They rush towards him and Aliya asked in panic voice "Doctor... how's nandini?" While mukti continued "Wo thk to hei na?"
Doctor said "Yes... she is alright... lagta hei accident was not that major so she has not get any big injury. There is only some bruises on her arms and legs but I think she went unconscious because of fear. And she will get her conscious soon. So don't worry." Listening his words all FAB 4's face light up with happiness and cabir said in polite tone "Thank you so much doctor." Doctor smiled and said "My pleaser Mr. Dhawan... Now Excuse me please."
After Doctor left mukti exclaimed happily "Thank god chhoti bilkul thik hei. But wo..." but before she continue her words cabir's phone rang. He saw the caller id and his face again fell. He look at others and said "It's manik..." Dhruv said "Talk to him cabir... and abhi buddy ko nandini ke bareme kuchh mat batana warna wo worried ho jayega." Cabir said "Okay... and mukti tum navya ko call krdena. She must be worried..." saying this he went to attend the call.
Phone conversation
Manik " hello cabir... tu kaha hei? Aur nandu kaha hei? Wo phone kyu nahi utha rahi hei? Tu use phone de... myje use bat krni hei..." tension was clearly visible by manik's voice. He was actually worried for nandini as she was not picking his calls. So he called cabir.
But listening his words cabir got worried and trying to reply in normal voice "Are are mere Romeo... kabhi hamse bhi bat kar liya karo. Hamesha apni Juliet se bat krna zaroori hota hei kya..."
Manik gritted his teeth listening his words and said in super annoyed tone "Cabirrr... muje teri bakwas nahi sunani hei abhi... tu nandini ko phone de... NOW..." he press the word now in angry tone causing cabir to gulp his saliva in fear as well as worry.
But he replied soon composing himself "Nandini abhi abeer ko sula rahi hei... isliye sayad phone silent pe hoga uska... aur jab abeer so jayega to me use teri bat karwata hu..." cabir deliberately took abeer's name as he know when it comes to abeer manik won't argue.
Manik just hmmed halfheartedly and cut the call. Cabir took sigh of relief after cutting the call and then heeded towards others. Lokking at cabir Mukti said "Cabir... Meine navya se bat kar li hei." Then Aliya said "Guys... hume nandini ke pas jana chahiye." Then they all agrees and entered the room.
As soon as they enter they saw nandini was trying to open her eyes and muttering something under her breath. They rush towards her and heard her murmurs in sleep "Ma...Manik..." they all smiled listening her and soon she opens her eyes. Cabir caressed her forehead with brotherly concern and asked "Are you ok nandu?"
Nandini smiled faintly and said in a little weak voice "Hmmm" Dhruv came and said smilingly "You scared us nandini." everyone smiled listening his words and then nandini said "Manik... tum sabne use bataya to nahi hei na kuch bhi?"
They all smiled satisfactorily as they now in this situation also nandini is only worried about manik. Then cabir came forward and said "Nai meri behna... hamne kuch nahi bataya... par us monster ne kitne ghanto se teri awas nahi suni hei to pagal ho gaya hei. Meine bahana banake thodi der ke liye use chup kr diya tha lekin ab tu ek bar bat krle to use shanti mil jaye. Warna kya pata wo abhi k abhi yaha tapak pare."
Everyone chuckled with cabir's statement and then cabir give phone to nandini. She composed herself not to sound a bit weak also as manik can understand her situation very easily from far also. She called him and he picked up the call in first ring only and said "Helllo Cabir. Nan..." but she said cutting him in between "Manik..."
Manik sighed in relief listening his love's voice after long seven hours and then said "Nandini... tum mera phone kyu nai utha rahi thi? I was so worried love. You ok na?" she said immediately listening his panic voice "Mani... I'm fine. Don't worry. It was just..." but to her bad luck she coughed in between and Aliya immediately made her drink water but now damage was done.
Manik was super worried listening her coughing and said "Nandini... tum thik to ho na bay? Kya huwa hei tumhe... hold on... mei abhi ara hu waha pe... cabir ko bolna tumhara khayal rakhe ok... mei abhi ata hu..."
And before nandini could say something he cut the call while nandini said "Manik... hello... mani..." then she look at everyone and said "Kat diya..." everyone smiled and cabir said "your always panic monster... achcha... let me talk to him. And tum apna khayal rakho... Mei abhi aya." Then he left and dhruv said "Aliya and mukti tum dono nandu ko ready kr do. Doctor ne discharge de diya hei so ham abhi niklenge... tab tak mei formalities puri karke ata hu."
After they left nandini asked "Aliya... Mukti... tumlogone chachi ko kuchch bataya to nahi hei na?" Aliya smiled and replied "No... Actually ham batane wale hi the but fir doctor said that you are perfectly fine so we thought why to stress them."
In Corridor of Hospital.
Cabir called manik and before he could say something he heard manik speaking in haste "Hello cabir? Nandini thik to hei na? dekh tu uska khayal rakhna please. I have boarded the flight and I will be reaching in four hours. Tabtak please tu uska khayal rakhna." Then cabir replied "Are yar... tu muje bolne ka mouka to de. Nandini bilkul thik hei. Aur jaha tak muje pata hei, teri flight to tin ghante ke bad thin a? to tune abhi flight board kese ki?" Manik sighted and replied "Han yar wo tin ghante pehle koi fight nai thi so meine personal jet hire kr liya. I don't know yar but I'm feeling very restless. I just want to see her ASAP." Cabir replied "Tu chinta mat kr manik. Ham sab yahi hei nandu ke sath." Then they cut the call and manik switched off his phone.
Malhotra Mansion, Night time.
After finishing every formalities FAB 4 along with nandini heeded towards Malhotra Mansion where navbeer were waiting for them. Cabir told everyone about manik's coming and listening him navya said "Manik... kabhi nahi badlega." Dhruv also said seconding her "Han... Buddy ki jaan basti hei nandini mei." Everyone smiled while nandini blushed listing them. After some chit chat session when they made nandini lie down on sofa only, navya said "Chalo Nandu... tumne suba se kuch nahi khaya hei na. thoda sa khalo."
Nandini made a face and said "No navya... muje bhukh nahi hei..." Navya look at everyone helplessly while something click on cabir's mischievous mind and he took abeer in his lap who was playing with his toys on the separate sofa and said "Dekho na abeer. Tumhari nandu time pe khana nai kha rhai hei. Fir wo bimar pad jayegi. Use bolona at least thoda sa soup pi le."
While abeer first look at his dear father registering his words and thinking something deep in his chotu mind and then came towards nandini. He sat down near her and said in his toddler tone "Nandu...You ale a god gil na so have some soulp. (You are a good girl na so have some soup.) Pl...pls..." muski helped in his spelling saying "It's please bacha." He immediately look at her with his toothy smile and then again said turning towards nandu "Please..."
While nandini went all awww with her chhotu baby's caring cuteness and said after smooching his cheeks "Ok mera baby... Muaaa..." and a cute abeer smiled very brightly with his nandu agreeing him and happily kiss her cheeks hard saying loudly "You ale the best nandu... Muaa..."
Then they all have dinner while nandini have some soup. They all didn't force her much for dinner as they all knew without manik, feeding nandini is a task next to impossible. And she had some soup is already a big thing for them.
Residential Building, MG Road, Delhi.
A person was sitting on sofa with his folded lags and face was having an evil smirk while talking on the phone "Ok. Keep everything how I have said. And just wait for my instruction." Saying this he cut the call and said loudly with sarcastic laugh "So nandini murthy... this was the second last accident of yours. After this you will meet with the final accident which will lead you till death and then FAB 5 over."
Then he again continued in same evil tone "Pandit Trilok Chaurasiya apna revenge kabhi nahi bhulta... I will take it bit by bit."
Yes the villain was none other than panditji. So what will happen next? What will be the final plan of pandit to kill nandini? To now all this stay tuned with YAARIAAN...
