CHAPTER 45

Malhotra Mansion, manan's room, 11:30 pm.

Everyone was sitting there on bed around nandini who was lying on bed. Navya was caressing her hair to make her sleep but she was not even blinking her eyes and then asked "Cabir..." cabir replied "Han meri behna..." Nandini pouted cutely and asked with little dull face "Manik kab ayega?"

But before he replied there came her love's authentic voice from outside "Nandini..." they all stood up and nandini also sat on bed grinning widely. She tried to stand up but navya stopped her. While manik came running towards bed and engulfed her in his protective arms.

They hugged each other tightly feeling the warmth of their loved one. After sometimes manik felt something wet on his shoulder as nandini was silently crying on his neck. He forcefully broke the hug while nandni was looking down. His heart pierced with the single drop of tears which were coming out of her eyes.

Manik make her look at him by cupping her face and said lovingly "What happened love? Why my baby is crying?" she didn't said anything and just look at him with small tear drops in her eyes and then place her head on his chest like a baby. He found her behavior really different as well as he was so much worried. He placed a feather kiss on her head to sooth her and then his eyes fell on FAB 4 and navya who were standing there with serious faces.

He was worried about her condition and at the same time he was clueless that what happened with her. But more than that he was concerned about her health which is not looking good now. He knew she needs sleep. So he made her lie down on the bed and make her sleep by peaking her forehead and face several time.

Then he look at others and raised his eyebrows looking towards them asking them to tell him about her condition while dhruv said "Buddy wo actually... today nandini met with an accident." Manik's heart skipped a bit listening his words and tears brimmed in his eyes. But he composed himself as she was sleeping right beside him so he just muttered in low voice "How?"

Then cabir tell him everything what happened and also tell him about her condition that she is totally fine and have some bruises on her arms and legs only. Manik listen to him with scared and worried expression on his face. He just cocooned her more in his arms to assure himself that she is fine.

After that manik said "Thank you guys for taking care of nandini in my absence..." but cabir his his head playfully and then dhruv said "Are buddy... tu hame thank you bol raha hei... tuje pata hei na we are a family..." then cabir continued "and ya remember one thing jiske bare me tu bat kar raha hei na wo meri behan hei..." navya said "Aur meri best friend nandu..." aliya said "Aur meri Barbie..." mukti also said "aur meri baby doll..."

Smile touch everyone's faces with this light moment and manik's lips also curved into a slight smile watching his lady has gain so much of love from his friends also. He then kissed her forehead lightly causing her lips to curve into a beautiful smile.

Then navya said "Manik... wo nandu ne kuchh khaya nahi hei so use kuchh khila dena..." then Aliya said "And then use medicine khila dena..." then mukti continued "And ya... uske bruises to light hi hei so bandage ki zarurat nahi hei... but you need to apply an antiseptic on them to sooth the burning pain..." and then dhruv said "We all are here only. If you need anything then call us." manik nodded at them and then they all went to guest room for some rest.

They all are like a family and nandini is the one root who is connecting them all with her love and care. She is shining star of manik but she is a star of others life. They cannot take an ounce of pain on her and today she met with an accident is really a big thing for them though that was not so serious but it really scared them all. So they all stay there as a family.

Living area.

Cabir was sitting there on couch and thinking something deep when dhruv saw him and asked settling down beside him "What happened cabir? Kya soch rahe ho?" Cabir said still in deep thoughts "Dhruv...tuje nai lagta es ek week mei nandini ke sath 2 accident huye hei..." while dhruv continued "Ya cabir... and i think that is something strange... but both incidents were looking like accidents only..." Cabir continued "i think hame manik se is bare me bat krni chahiye..." dhruv continued "ya ham kal bat karenge buddy se..."

Manan's Room.

After everyone left manik kissed nandini's both eyes lightly to wake her up. She slowly opens her eyes and saw her love's beautiful face with pain in his eyes. He looked at her with pain in his eyes as he was not able to think that he was not there to protect her. And she very well knew about his state so she gently pulled him over her and place her lips on his dry once.

They didn't kiss but just place their lips together to assure about each other's presence. First their longings of almost twenty hours and then this dreadful accident shook them both to the core. But soon she felt something wet on her face and she open her eye to witness his man's eyes were shedding tears with closed eyes.

She kissed away his tears while he muttered near her lips "what if something happened to you... I will die..." but before he completes his sentence nandni palmed his lips with her tiny hands while small tears brimmed in her eyes. But he removed her hands gently after kissing her fingers and said "i'm sorry... i couldn't protect you... i'm sorry... i'm sorry..." tears were coming out of his eyes while saying this.

Nandni knew that he won't stop by himself so she just decrease the distance of their lips and started a slow loving kiss. She kissed him so lovingly to sooth his pain while he didn't respond first but then eventually gave in and started to kiss her softly. While the kiss she was wiping his tears.

After feeling breathless they broke apart and then manik stood up composing himself and said "Come have something... then you have to take medicines... and what you wanna eat?" he said this while looking sideway but her. She knew he was scared and hurt more than her and was behaving wisely in front of her. But she also knew that he won't listen to her until she has her medicines as for him her health comes first.

So she cutely called his name in total childish way "Mani..." he smiled slightly knowing her tricks and said looking at her "Han mani ka baby..." she licked her lips and said cutely "I wanna have yummy yummy pasta from your hands..." he went all awww with her cuteness and gave a tight kiss on her cheeks and said "Okay baby..."

After around ten minutes their butler delivered pasta to them and manik started to feed her while she also feed him with her hands. After having pasta manik made her eat medicines and then said "Chalo nandu... i will apply antiseptics on your bruises."

He pulled up her sleeves to apply meds but watching her bruises his eyes again brimmed with tears. But before it comes out and pierce her heart, she said "Mani... I don't need any antiseptics..." Manik look at her questioningly while she lovingly replied "A kiss... Where it hurts..."

He smiled brightly with her words as she was imitating him only. Then he very delicately kisses each and every bruise on her arms. While she closed her eyes feeling her lips on his body. He was smiling in front of him but deep down he was scared, scared of losing her. He was feeling guilty as he was not with her and couldn't protect her. And she very well knew it.

After applying meds, manik made her lie down on bed and he sat there taking her head on his lap. He was caressing her hairs to make her sleep and was looking side way. He was not looking at her eyes. She knew his state of mind very well and she also knew that he was blaming himself for not protecting her she can't take it at all.

She takes his hand and kissed his palm lovingly to grab his attention. He looked at her as her soft lips touch his hand and she cupped her face with her other hand. She pulled his face down and gently peak his lips. Then she gestured him to sleep besides her and he complied.

As he sleep, she place her head over his heart and kiss it softy and then roes her face up placing her chin over his chest and said "Please don't make my heart ache. It is not my mani's fault at all. It was bound to happen baba." He looks at her with pain in his eyes and said "But..." "Shhh..." she sshed placing her tiny fingers over his supple lips and said "I love you mani... and i'm with you..." he pull her over himself hugging her tightly and muttered "I love you too... Now sleep..." while saying this he palmed her eyes to make her sleep and peak her forehead.

Mumbai Airport, 08:00 pm.

After landing of his flight from Delhi to Bombay, pandit smirked evilly and said "Finally i'm here after one year. And this time I will take my revenge from you manik." Then he took a cab and went towards his home.

Malhotra mansion, Next Morning,.

Next morning as usual after some cuddling and necessary kisses manan came down to have breakfast. They all were having breakfast when nandni said "Manik... aj mere extra classes hei so i will come at 7 pm." But manik instantly replied "You are not going college today." But nandini made puppy face and said "Manik please... i'm absolutely fine... muje kuchh nahi huwa hei..." "Nandini..." but sh esaid cuting him in between "Ok tum muje drop kr lena so please..." he smiled with her childish behavior and said "Okay.. i'll drop you..."

Then nandini asked "where is abeer?" Navya replied "He is sleeping... subah jaldi uth gaya tha so meine use wapas sula diya..." after finishing their breakfast they all settled on living area when cabir and dhruv told all of them about their doubt for nandini's accident but listening them manik said "I think there is a point... " but nandni said "But manik... they were just accidents... i don't think there is someone behind all this..." Manik just hmmed thinking something deep in his mind. After some time FAB 5's manager came there and told "Sir...Today there is a meeting with investors in evening for FAB 5 studio."

FAB 5 were now famous among the country and having a lot of concerts and albums with named studios, Music companies and labels but as they all are FAB 5 they thought of having their own music company as well as Studio. So they have finalized a building near Malhotra industries so that it becomes easy for manik to maintain office and studio both. And today they were having the meeting with investors of the FAB 5 Studio.

After listening him Manik said "But nandu ko lene bhi jana hoga evening me..." and mukti continued "Ya so either postponed the meeting or proponed it." But nandini said "No Mukti... there is no need of it... muje lene driver ajayega..." then she looks at manik and said "I will be fine guys... muje kuchh nahi hoga don't worry..."

Manik unwillingly nodded and agreed with her. After that nandini went upstairs to get her beg and Mukalya also went to get ready and boys were alone in living area while Dhruv said "Buddy... i think we need to investigate more about this both accidents..." While manik replied with serious tone "You are right buddy... i will tell my PA to hire a private investigator for this. But i don't want to tell nandini about it otherwise she will get tensed or denied..." Cabir also said while seconding him "Ya we shouldn't tell nandu about this..."
