Chapter 4:
Manik was sitting in his room frowning as Nandini didn't say anything...an idea struck him and he immediately called someone ...it was soon lunch time...Nandini was in the kitchen...working and Manik entered there...
Manik: some special guest is coming today!
Nandini:ok..I'll prepare the lunch..she said without looking at him...
Manik: better
It was 2:00 pm , a girl entered inside the mansion and ran and hugged Manik tightly...but Nandini didn't care though...
Manik: Alya..I missed you so much!
Alya:me too Manik..how r u
Manik: I'm good...come lets have lunch!
Alya: ok
Nyonika also smirked at Nandini!
Everyone sat on the table...
Alya: so Manik..where is ur wife..I wanna meet her
Nandini came from the kitchen...
Nandini: hi...
Alya: oh..hi!
Manik: so baby...what's ur plan for today?
Alya: nothing...but if ur free we could hang out somewhere..just the two of us!
Manik: nice idea..and I'm totally free today! He said looking at Nandini...
Alya: ok my bf!
Manik: anytime gf!
Nandini still didn't react...
Nandini thinking: it's his life...jo karna chahta hai kare I don't care...
Nyonika: yeah..Manik u should go with her...she also said looking at Nandini
Nandini: yeah..nyonika aunty is right...Manik u should go out with her...wait..not just out..u should book some suit in a hotel..there u both could spend some romantic time with each other...I won't mind...really...ill be happy of course!
Manik frowned: shut up!
Nandini: no no..wait..ill book it for u..what say Alya?
Alya: ok...Manik...really...she is not that bad..she is letting her hubby spend romantic time with his girl friend...
Manik gritted his teeth...
Nandini: u spend time with her...and I'll be relaxed..not looking at ur face...
Manik: I don't want to go!
Alya: but why baby?
Nandini: Manik...I don't have any problem...in fact if u love her so much..why don't u marry her and then have kids and have a happily married life...and give me divorce..!!
Alya: really manik...u will marry me?
Manik thinking: kahan phas Gaya yar...yeh natak toh sach ho Gaya...aur yeh chipku Alya...ise toh mauka mil Gaya...Nandini badal kaise gayi??
Nandini: so Manik..can I get our divorce papers ready?
Manik: just shut up..I'm not giving u divorce!
Nyonika: keep dreaming Nandini!
Nandini: nyo aunty..my dreams also come true!
Alya:Manik lets marry na...I love u..give her divorce!
Manik: Alya shut up and leave!
Nandini: tch tch tch..bichari Alya...kya hua ur bf doesn't loves u? He is just a jerk..jise logo ki feelings ke saath sirf khelna ata hai!
Manik: enough Nandini!
Nandini: why enough...mr.malhotra if u think..that this stupid drama of urs will affect me then ur highly mistaken...get this thing cleared in ur head...I Don't Care!!
Manik went and was about to slap her in anger but she held his hand...
Nandini: mr.malhotra...stay in ur limits...u have no right to slap me...if u touch me..I will report domestic violence case on you!
She clicked her fingers on his face...so u better stay away from me!
Manik frowned and was glaring at her...
Nyonika: Nandini!..who r u to shout at my son
Nandini: mother-in-law...I think u should not interfere in our personal matters...just stay away..understand! She pointed her finger at her
Nandini went away from there ... Alya too went after Manik told her to..
Nyonika: Manik..what is this..can't u control ur bloody wife?
Manik: mom..main kya karta ..wo...
Nyonika: what do u mean by that...Manik..Nandini ko apni muthi main band kar ke rakho..wo hamare haath se nikalni nahi chahiye!
Manik: ok
Manik entered his room and saw Nandini is reading magazine with a care free expression!
Manik: Nandini!
Nandini: yes mr.hubby?
Manik: don't try to act smart with me...samjhi!
Nandini: I'm not acting smart...waise Manik...tum mujh se dar Gaye kya..I mean..u r not beating me...aur Han aisa karne ka sochna bhi mat...or get ready to go to jail...u should thank me that main ne abhi tak tumhari complain nahi ki...so u better shut up!
Manik: you...
Nandini: uh uh...don't say another word..or else...u know me better right? She smirked
Manik went out from there angrily...and Nandini sighed in relief..
Nandini: u need to be strong Nandini!...now he won't affect you...u will hate him..just hate him...and I will get out from this hell someday...
Days passed and Nandini became strong in front of them...Manik couldn't do anything but listen to her..and nyonika was angry with Manik...she wanted Nandini in her control but nothing happened according to her plans...Nandini used to shout at her and Manik kept quiet...
Nyonika: Manik...u don't love ur dad right!
Manik: mom..why r u saying like this..I love my dad
Nyonika: tum se aik ladki sambhali nahi jati...hum ne tumhare dad ki maut ka badla lena hai..aur yahan tum aise baithe ho...kuch Karo damn it..tum ne dekha na..wo tumhari mom pe kaise hukum chalati hai...it's enough...I can't take this anymore
Manik: sorry mom!
Nyonika: Manik do something...nahi toh yeh ladki aik din hum se sab kuch chin le gi!
Manik: ok!
Nandini came there and sat on the couch...
Nandini: kya batain ho rahi hain maa bete main...mere khilaf kuch planning and plotting..right?
Nyonika glared at her..
Nandini: don't show me that look!
Manik shouted: Nandini!!
Nandini: awaz niche Manik malhotra!
Nandini suddenly felt nauseous and ran towards her room...
Manik: ise kya hua?
Nandini came out of the bathroom wiping her face with a towel..she was feeling dizzy!
Nandini: why am I feeling so dizzy...
She came out of her room and saw nyonika...
Nyonika: are you pregnant?
Nandini's eyes widened in shock...
Nandini: uh..what...no!
Nyonika: did u check?
Nandini: no..and why do u care..just stay away from me...Nyonika smirked and went down...Nandini again felt nauseous and went in...
Nyonika: Manik..I think Nandini is pregnant!
Manik shocked: what?
Nyonika: yes!..and if she is..then I have got the perfect plan...we can again rule her..I mean we could blackmail her of snatching ur baby...and she will have no choice but listen to us...
Manik: ur right! He smirked...
Nandini was pacing in her room...
Nandini: am I pregnant...I also missed my dates...and this dizziness...I have to check...
Manik came in the room with some packet...
Manik: here u go
Nandini confused: what is this?
Manik: pregnancy test kit..go check...
Nandini: I'm okay...I'm not pregnant!
Manik shouted: I said go and check!
Nandini snatched the packet and went in the bathroom...after some time...she saw the result is positive...
Nandini: I'm pregnant...she smiled...and touched her belly...but I won't let Manik snatch u away from me..u r only my baby...
Nandini threw the kit in the dustbin and came out...
Manik: are u?
Nandini: no! Result is negative!
Manik: what?
Nandini didn't reply and went out...Manik didn't believe her and went in..he saw the kit in the dustbin and picked it up and saw..he became happy...
Manik: how dare she lie to me!
Manik went down and shouted at her...
Manik: why did u lie?
Nandini: what lie?
Manik: that ur not pregnant...u r ...I saw this...
Nandini rolled her eyes: so what...it's only my baby...u r no one...
Manik: this is my baby too...I have full rights on it!
Nandini shouted: no u don't!
Nyonika listened their fight and came out...
Nyonika: Manik what happened?
Manik: she is saying that the baby is not mine...it's only mine!
Nandini: no it isn't...she put her hand on her belly...yeh mera bacha hai sirf!
Nyonika: shut up Nandini!...yeh Manik ka bhi bacha hai...
Nandini: no..
Nyonika: yes..it is..agar hum chahein toh yeh bacha tum se cheen sakte hain!
Nandini: what?..no u can't...in fact main abhi yahan se chali jaon gi...lekin Manik ko apne bache ko haath bhi nahi lagane doon gi!
Nandini went running in her room...
Nyonika: Manik..we can't let her go..she has ur heir...
Manik: I know...he also went in her room...and saw her packing her bags...he held her wrist tightly...
Manik: u can't go...u r my wife and I have full rights on u and my baby!
Nandini: Manik leave my hand I said!
Manik: no!..agar tumhe Jana hi hai...toh pehle mujhe mera bacha do..then u can leave!
Nandini: main tumhe nahi dene wali...
Manik: fine...then tum bhi yehi Reh Lena hamare baby ke saath!
Nandini: nahi..main nahi chahti ke use tum jaisa baap mile..selfish!
Manik shouted: Nandini!
Nandini: Manik..choro mera haath!..it's paining!
Manik left her hand...and snatched the bag and emptied it...
Manik: u r not going anywhere! Get that!
Nandini suddenly fainted...Manik picked her up..
Manik: Nandini? Nandini get up!
He placed her on the bed and called the doctor...he soon came and checked her...
Doctor: she should not take any stress...keep her happy!..and he prescribed some medicines to him...he injected her...
Nandini was sleeping and Manik left the room closing the door...
