Chapter 3 : THE DAY
Manik reached home... and the guy opens the door, who was least expected at that time...After seeing him..manik shouts..
"cabbbiiirrr" he has happiness in his eyes.
( Here I presents another important character of this story..., CABIR DHAWAN , son of VIKRAM, DHAWAN, manik's father friends from his village...and manik's BFF,)
C: "mannnikkk...abe saale kitna wait kraya " n they have good brotherly hug)
M: " saale tu to mana kr rha tha ki nhii aayega "
C: " tera itna bda din aur me na aau...aesa kaise ho skta haii"
DJ:" ab drwaze pr hi kadhe rhoge ya ander bhi aaoge"
They laugh at dj's comment n went inside.
Dj:' chaloo pehle fresh hokr khana khalo fr baate krte rehna"
They nod and happily have their dinner.
IN MANIK'S ROOM
C: " aur bta saale...kuchh bdla abhi bh waise sa hi serious type of boss hai tu.."
Manik roll his eyes on his comment and throw a pillow on his face.
M: kuch ni bdla ... sb waisa hi hai... bss maa hotii to aur bh achha hota.."
Cabir realised that manik is upset because the most important person of his life is missing on most imp day of his life.. so he decided to distract him.
C: haan tooo maa bh aayegiii..." cabir said casually.
Manik gives him a confusing look...n said..:" tera dimaag khrab hai...dad ab iss umar me shadi krenge.."
And cabir Laughed loudly on his statement.
C:" be idiot ...pgl hai kya tu... me uncle ki ni teri shaadi ki bt kr rha hu...biwiya bhi maa hi bn jati hai kuch din bd.." n he said mischievously and laughed.
On the mention of the word "BIWI"... he remembers the girl he noticed on the bus stop.
The way her lips were moving when she was talking to her friend, her hair...which were coming on her face due the wind... and her big twinkling eyes... and white anarkali suit with white bangles and that big jhumkas in her ears...
Cabir notice that manik is lost somewhere...he came near him and click his finger on his face.
Manik came out of his trance. ...and look blankly at cabir.
C:" kyaa boss...koii mil gyii hai kya "
M:" hann...nii niii... kya mtlb hai tera... faltuu baate na kr...aur soja subaahh jldii uthna haiii..." manic stammers nervously.
Cabir found something fishy..
Then only cabir's phone rang , he was caller id DADA... he picked up...and his dad asked him to give the call to manik's dad... he gestured manik to come with him and they went to manik's dad room.
Mann: " oyee kaise hai mere yaar"
Vikram: " bdiyaa yaara...maine bss manik aur tujhe badaai dene k liye phone kiya hai.."
M:" abe yr aesa ni chlega ...tu aaya kyu ni"
V:" kya kru yr ...mjhe kaam k jkr me jana pda ... pr maine cabir bheja hai na..merii taraf se... waheguru ki kher se sb bdiya hoga..."
M:" haan bss kal itni saalo ki mehnat k fall mil jayega..."
V:" chl yaara me kal bt krta hu tujhse...abhi jana pdega "
M:" chl thk hai ...ruk me cabir ko deta hu "
He handover the phn to cabir...and he went out of the room talking.
Mann: bss tyaar hai na manik kal k liye. Kal kitne bj hai function..??.."
Manik: haaan papa...bs thk haii..aur function 10.30 se hai " he said smilingly.
Mann: " aur tera wo dadla ...wo kaha hai..."
Manik:" haaan meri baat hogyi hai usse...uske clg khtm ho rha hai kal...wo aajayega..."
Mann:' dekhna kal bhi late pahuchega...tera pyaar ne bigaad k rkh diya hai ussse..."
Manik:" dad wo aajayega ...app yeh dwaii lijiye...aur rest kro thoda...kal puree din idhr udhr kroge.." mann smiles on his concern..
Manik switch off the light and manik and cabir went to manik's room and slept.
IN THE MORNING...(7am)
The morning rays fall upon on manik...and today they didnot disturbed his beauty sleep instead he have the big smile on his face...because today is her mom's birthday...and of course the opening ceremony of his dream.
He got up...and came out of the washroom an hour later after getting freshens up.
He was standing in front of his dressing table...just when cabir woke up with the jerk.
C:" 10:30 bj gye.." ( he also was waiting for his day.. because he also use to love nyonika a lot)
Manik chuckled a little at his state and said : " nii ... 8.15 huye hai abhiii"
C: to tu itni jldi kaha ja rha haii ? "
M: me mandir ja rha hu... whi se office aajaunga ..tu pls tyaar hokr oofice jakr dekhle...sb chz ki tyari"
C: " kutte ab tu mjhe plss bolegaa " cabir said angrily.
M:" ohhh sryy... dfa ho aur office jaa...nikal yhaa se ... kutte " manik said michoiously.
C: haaann ... ab thk haiii...yeh hui na bt...abhii tyaar hokr jata hu.."
And manik laughed...and went to temple.
IN THE TEMPLE
Morning Prayer is going on in the temple. And so many people were gathered
Manik is praying, hand folded and eyes closed.
M : oh god... aapko ko to pta hi hai aaj meri zindagi ka sbse important din hai...plz be with me.
And he open his eyes and take prasaad from the priest, and turns to leave...
And he was saw her again.. taking rounds of the big tree and he stops at his place and kept looking at her.
(Manik POV)
(AND I saw her again... oh god...who is she..?? some angel ? why is she so beautiful...i cant take my eyes from her..)
Prayer ends, and people started going away.. one man turns to leave and collides with manik ...and his trance got broken...then lots of people started to leave... and after while he looks at tree...but she was gone
( oh damn...she is gone again...ufff... who is this mystery girl yr... ) he sigh.. and came to his car... and drove to his office.
