Hi guys..any one remembers me and my story?? Well I know I am quite late ..in fact very late..and I am not going to give any excuse for that !! I am really sorry..!! But now it has been really difficult to write stories for me since the forum is dying day by say which really discourages me..😭
But there are few readers who r trying their best to keep the forum alive !! So I wanna continue only for them..till I can.!! And guys plz give new writers a chance and plz response to their stories..!! Plz guyz let's keep Manan alive !!
And enough of my blabbering. Here goes the update !!

~ CHAPTER 9
After talking on the phone manik turned to go towards the room but what he saw made his breath choke. There she was ..Nandini standing fight in front of him with a blank face ..staring at him.and her stare was making him nervous..Only tgebthought that Nandini had heard his conversation was enough to take his breath away..!!
Waiting for few seconds for Nandini to say something and when no any response came he himself said stammering all the time ,"Nandini..umm..tum ...tum yaha !! Maine kaha tha na rest karo!!"
Nandini moved a little closer and said in a small weak voice ," manik..tickets book huye?? Hum kab ja rahe hain ??" As soon as nandu uttered these words manik sighed a breath of relief and mentally thanked nandu's aayiappa a thousands time that nandu didn't hear anything. !! Or else everything would have been destroyed..!! They would have been destroyed!!
Manik took nandu in a side hug as she was very weak to stans on her own and said calmly ," nandu..tum fikar mat karo..hum 1 hour ke baad chalenge..and tum na mujhpe bharosha rakho..main kuch galat nahi hone dunga !!"
Nandu looked at his eyes with a lot of hope reflecting in her eyes which Were pleading him to bring her appa back..and he knew he couldn't let that hope break..he blinked his eyes in assurance and lightly pecked her forehead and took her inside the room..!!!

" Mr.& Mrs malhotra...aapko humare sath chalna padega to identify the body...!!" Said the commissioner to manan who were by then in hospital of shimla.!! Nandini as soon as listened this thing tightly caught manik's hand and manik could feel her body shaking...!!
Manik looked at Nandini and saw that sweat beads had appeared in her forehead and she still had the same blank face !! Manik looking at nandu's condition said to the commissioner.," Sir..I think yeh kaam main akele hi karsakta hun...and nandu don't need to do this..and waise bhi I am sure woh dad nahi hain!!
To which commissioner replied " Mr malhotra. Main aapki baat samaj sakta hun...but since Mrs malhotra is his daughter .toh unse acchese koi bhi unhe identify nahi karsakta !!
Manik said in little pissed tone " but sir ..I said na I am also like his son so I can identify him well..nandini ko yeh karne ki koi jarurat...!!
His sentence was cut off by nandu's shaking voice " main chalungi !!" To which manik looked at her and making his grip on her hand tighter said " no nandu..u really don't need to do this!!"
Nandu looked at him assuring that's she was gone and she needs to do this through her eyes and manik had to oblige her decision..!!

Nandini catching manik's hand tightly entered inside the room where a lot of dead bodies were kept which were smelling so bad that she had to cover her nose to stop the smell..!! As soon as the commissioner showed the body to her tears drop started falling from her eyes..!!
Though the face of that person was covered but the sight in front of her was still very horrible..the white sheet that was covering rge body had turned a dark red as it was totally immersed in blood..!! Manik quickly wrapped hia arms around her in order to support her despite the fact that even he was feeling a tornado inside himself. !!
Nandu's eyes caught the sight of the hand that was exposes out from the sheet...and as soon as she saw the watch in that wrist her breath choked ...Nandini slowly raised her hand to show the watch to manik looking at which manik's eyes too teared up..!!
That watch was the limited Edison watch that was the favorite watch of Mr murthy which he always kept with himself since it was given by Mrs murthy as an anniversary gift. !!
" Mrs malhotra plz aap sheet udhayiye and identify kijiye.!!" Said the commissioner which broke the trance of manan who were by then I a shock looking at the watch. !!
Manik. Slowly left Nandini and slowly went towards the body and with his shaking hands slowly lifted the sheet... but as soon as tge face became visible nandu tightly hugged manik and started sobbing...!!
"Mr malhotra . Kya yeh Mr murthy hi hain? " asked the commissioner to which manik replied in a shaking voice all the time crying " no..I mean I don't know..inka face itna damage hochuka hain ki we can't rrecognize him.!!
"Lekin Mr.malhotra. .koshish toh karni padhegi na!!"
Nandini quickly broke the hug and roughly rubbed her tears and said " I know yeh appa nahi hain..appa ke right hand mein ek tattoo hain jismein unhone kuch numbers likhe hain...and I am sure ish body main aisa tattoo nahi hain.!!"
Saying this Nandini quickly raised the right hand of the body to show to manik & the commissioner and herself without looking at the hands replied "dekha nahi hain na tattoo..Maine kaha tha na yeh appa nahi hain !!"..
But nandu got confused looking at the faces of manik & commissioner who had a shocked face and manik's face was covered with tears by then !!
Nandu slowly turned her gazes towards the hand and then her body became unbalanced and she was about to fall but manik quickly got her...there it was the tattoo which was the proof that it was Mr murthy !!
" hmm..Mr malhotra..I think aap Mrs malhotra ko yaha se lejayiye..yeh toh proof ho hi gaya hain ki yeh Mr murthy hain..toh hum much investigation ke baad aaplogo ko body dedenge antim sanskar ke liye.!!
Manik slightly nodded and looked at Nandini who looked so vulnerable...a living dead..!! No expressions at all..and now the surprising thing was she was not even crying..she was just froze..and nandini"'s condition was only adding fuels to his pain..!!
Manik slowly took nandu out of the room not soeaking a word and as manik was about to open the door of the car nandu jerked his hand away from her body and ran back to the haspital..." Nandini..Nandini..kaha jaa Rahi ho.??" Shouted manik who was panicking seeing Nandini running like that and he followed her shouting her name but nandu didn't stop...!!!
