Prologue
"Stop it!" Manik yelled. "No, stop!" "What's happening!" I yelled and I saw everyone around drop to their knees, crying in pain as they're hands went to their heads. I looked up at Manik and he had this blank look on his face. His blue eyes were changing literally to white and it worries me. I grabbed onto his shirt "Manik? Manik? What is happening stop it!" I yelled to the shadows that were enchanting something tears sliding my cheek. The chant was going faster and faster I looked at Manik he just looked so blank Suddenly, Manik eyes closed and he fell I dropped to the ground my body ached with pain but I ignored it as I went to Manik and started waking him up "Manik? Manik wake up"
Hours passed but he was unconscious my Manik was laying there lifeless and I couldn't do anything about it when he started groaning and when I went to go next to him, Vikram grabbed me arm, stopping me. A second later Manik opened his eyes he blinked staring up at the ceiling he looked totally confused "Manik?" I questioned and he quickly sat up. I gave him a small smile "Manik" he looked at me "Who are you?" he asked. And my world stopped...
