He was crying and stammering saying all this . He was feeling like he lost his everything . Nandini was just not his love she was his life, his heartbeat, his soul, she was his EVERYTHING
He was totally broken, he was crying cursing himself not to tell her the truth before just then he felt some weight on his shoulder which made him turn and see who was the person who kept hand on his shoulder. The thing he saw made him speechless and shocked. Actually shocked would be an understatement
There was NANDINI standing in front of him grinning widely covered with mud on her clothes and face . As soon as he saw her he hugged her tightly and started sobbing in nandini's arms. Seeing Manik crying so cutely in her arms she wrapped him in her embrace and started caressing his head.
Nandini: shhh...bas bas I m fine...shh see nothing happened to me
Nandini's pov
Manik bhi na ek dam ek cute se baby ki tarah hai . He 's crying just like a small baby in my arms but I love my this baby. When I fell off the cliff I felt I lost everything I lost My Manik but god is not that cruel, when I fell I held on to the long grass which were erupting from the soil and saved myself . While saving myself I heard Manik yelling my name and crying and this made me understand that he thought I died . I was struggling to come up, when I heard him saying I LOVE YOU which made me so happy and contented.
His words gave me strength to try more harder to save myself. To save myself for him,for his love and most importantly to be with him. And after lot of trying, I succeeded in climbing up the cliff and when I reached up I saw Manik crying sitting on the cliff with his face in his palms . Seeing his vulnerable state I just ran towards him to console him. I just sat down on the cliff to match his height and kept my hand on his shoulder he turned around and just hugged me tightly. It was hurting me but I didn't said anything as I know Manik needs assurance right now that I m still there for him . So I let it be

Manik: Nandini...nandini (sobbing badly on her shoulder ) I..i..I knew it tu...tum mu..mujhe aide cho...choor kar na...nahi ja sakti.
Nandini: relax Manik I m here only..shh..bas bas...relax
After sometime, when Manik's breathing became normal , Nandini slowly broke the hug and looked in his eyes lovingly. Seeing in his eyes she could easily figured out what was going in his mind. She moved up a little and kissed all his tears away and bussed his forehead to make him realize that it's not his dream, it's reality. Feeling her touch he just closed his eyes and realized her presence and as soon as he did that he shot open his eyes.
Manik: tum toh wahan se gir Gayi thi na ...And I thought I ...I lost u (being lost somewhere)
Understanding Manik's state, she just smiled and kept looking at him. This annnoyed and confused Manik. Not able to hold more he asked her out of curiosity.
Manik: why are u smiling nandini??...say something are u fine na... Tumhe kahin lagi toh nahi na...Bolo
Not wanting to make Manik more confused and worried she answered smilingly
Nandini: relax Manik I m fine ...mujhe much nahi hua ...dekho
Listening nandini, Manik checked her from head to toe and left his breath which he was holding unknowingly. As soon as he was assured he once again hugged her tightly and nandini happily gave in his arms.
Manik's state was very disturbed by all that which happened few minutes ago. Understanding Manik's state nandini tried to cheer his mood .
Nandini: waise Manik tum jaanna nahi chahoge how I got rescued? Haan
After listening this, Manik broke the hug slowly and looked at her blankly as he got lost in the moment which shooked him a little ago and didn't reply her
Nandini: arre Tumhe yeh ho kya jata hai todhi todhi Der mein tum yeh lost kyun ho jate ho ...agar tumhe nahi jaan na Toh Thik hai I will not tell
Her voice brought him out of trance and he said desperately
Manik: of course tell me how did u saved yourself and why didn't u called me for help
(In an angry tone)
Nandini: arre arre itna gussa...batati hu ...Listen
Then nandini told him everything how she saved herself skipping the part that she listened what he said. As she finished Manik just thank god in his mind for saving her.
Nandini was always a peace and fun loving girl who always love to crack jokes , to make everyone smile so Sensing the atmosphere getting serious nandini thought to lighten it
Nandini: waise tumhe pata hai Manik why I tried so much to climb up Haan
(She said this having a mischievous smile on her face)
Manik: Haan...why not
(In a confused way)
Nandini: jaise hi mein niche giri and held onto to the grass I readily thought to save myself kyunki agar mein Mar jati toh tumse shaadi kon karta and mein Tumhe saari zindagi kuwara nahi dekh sakti
Understanding nandini's mischievous words Manik thought to play along
Manik: tum pagal ho kya...mein kyun kuwara rahunga handsome hu ...paise bhi Thik thak kama leta hu and I m fit in every ways that a girl will fall for me
Nandini: accha ji so you have everything that a girl will fall for hmm... so tell me what do I have that YOU FELL FOR ME
Nandini's words startled Manik to the core. Gathering some courage and recovering from his shock . Manik said stammeringly
Manik: ye...yeh kya ke..keh Rahi h..ho wh..when I sa..said I fe..fell for u
Nandini: Tumhe kya lagta ha I didn't heard u when I fell off the cliff
Manik(in an astonished tone): tum ne suna woh sab
Nandini: of course I heard what u said
Manik : wh..what did..did I say
Nandini: Manik stop being stubborn I heard saying u I LOVE YOU to me
Nandini was totally annoyed with Manik's stubborn behavior that even after the all cliff incident also he didn't budge to tell her the truth. Not ready to confess her his feelings. And to add more fuel to her anger he said
Manik: I didn't said anything u must be hallucinating as the thing u said is what u want to hear
Nandini(in angry tone): shut up Manik...just shut up and speak up the truth u idiot
Seeing nandini's anger Manik understood that there is no escape today. Now he has to confess her every thing but still he tried to convince her once again
Manik: nandini relax tum kya keh rahi ho I don't know what u r talking about
Nandini: so u will not say the truth...Okay then if u will not say then I will definitely jump from this cliff
Saying this , she just started walking towards the edge. Not wanting to lose nandini Manik just held her hand and said
Manik: I LOVE YOU
And that was it nandini turned around in a jiffy and just hugged Manik tightly. The hug was so intense that Manik almost lost his balance but somehow managed to stand still and reply to her hug .
Nandini: I LOVE YOU TOO MANIK...I love you very very much
Manik : I know
He replied casually. They just stood like in that position hugging each other , feeling each other's warmth .
