CHAPTER 24

Malhotra mansion, 10:00 pm, Manan's room.

Nandini lay down on bed when something strike her mind and she pick her phone from the table. She is going to call her beloved papa when she found a message from him

Princess. I know you both would be worried for me. But I'm fine beta and I will be at home by tomorrow morning.'

She felt relief after reading the message and then kept her phone aside and then heeded towards the balcony.

Malhotra mansion, 11:30 pm.

Manik entered his room after the necessary discussion about their concert with FAB 5. He was very tired with the event of full day so he just want to sleep having her in his arms.

When he entered the room he saw it's full dark but there is light coming from the balcony and he understood that she must be there. So he instantly goes to the washroom and change in nightwear and come towards the balcony.

When he entered in balcony he saw the most beautiful sight in front of his life. As nandini is standing there in balcony under his favorite stars holding her jar of fireflies. She is smiling widely looking at them when her face is glowing like the brightest sun. And upon that the slight moon light is felling on her already glowing face making it more and more ethereal.

Nandini is standing in balcony and looking at her favorite fireflies and rewinding her life with his monster and smiling widely. When she felt his warmth behind her and his long arms engulfing her in back hug and his palm placed on her fireflies. Fireflies glow with bright light when he touch her and she look up at his eyes which is already looking at her.

He also smile looking at him and very lovingly kiss her lips. She smiles against her lips and kiss him with more love. Soon they broke apart and manik said "I love you." She smiled ear to ear and look at glowing fireflies and then again look at him and said "I love you more mani."

Then he said peaking her temple "tum soyi kyu nahi abhi tak? It's late." She snuggle more into him and said still looking at her fireflies "tumhare bina keise soti?" he smiles and peak her chubby cheeks and said "ok now sleeping time." By saying this he hold her jar and kept it on the side table of their balcony which is having more of this type of jars of fireflies.

Then pick her up in his arms and came to their room. He place her on the bed and then they both lied down holding each other. Soon they slept cuddling each other by the tiredness of the day.

Malhotra mansion, next morning.

Manan were seating at couches doing their respective works. Manik is reading some magazines and nandini is surfing on her phone for some classical music workshop. When they heard a car's horn. They both get up and saw that their papa coming towards them with smiling face.

Nandini ran towards him saying "Papa..." and hug him tightly. Manik also came there smiling at the father-daughter bonding and then hug his dad and asked "how are you dad?" Mr. Malhotra smile and said "I'm fine son." Then he said looking at nandini "but I'm hungry beta. Breakfast milega kya?"

Nandini replied abruptly "sure dad. Zarur milega but first you have to promise me something?" listening him Mr. Malhotra look at manik which is also clueless about her talk and then he said "what promise princess?"

She look at him and said "promise me that you won't leave house if anything bad happenes. And you will share your pain with us. We both are your family na aur family k sath to hume sab share karna chahiye. Right?"

Both Malhotra men smile at their little bundle of joy who is making them understand the value of a family and that to in such a cute and loving manner. Then Mr. Malhotra kiss her forehead and said "promise princess." She again asked raising her eyebrow "Nandini promise."

Mr. Malhotra smile at her princess's never ending cuteness and said smilingly "Nandini promise." And listening him she smile all ear to ear while manik is just standing there having a constant smile at his face knowing that she is the one who can handle any situation or any person of his life. Breaking her trance nandini said "Ok now. You can have breakfast. Chaliye jaldise." Then trio set on the dining table to have the breakfast.

After the breakfast nandini excused herself and went to her chachi's home as she didn't go there since few days. And she promised them that she will came before lunch time as his dada wants to be with his princess.

Then manik and Mr. Malhotra settled in hall. Mr. Malhotra asked "So manik. What is happening with your music?" Manik look at him and replied "yah dad. We FAB 5 got a new album from N-label Music Company." Mr. Malhotra think for some time and then said "but son. That is quiet a small company. If you want then I can help you to get a big album."

Manik smiled at his father and said "no dad. We will start by our own." Yes that is right. If manik want then he can have a big album through his dad's help as he is very famous person in India also but he never did that nor will he. As he is man of his own world and he want to earn success and fame by himself only.

Mr. Malhotra smile at his son and said "That's great my son. Bdw did you think about my proposal of joining our business?" Manik said "Ammm... dad... I'm thinking about it. It's just..." Mr. Malhotra look at his son's and asked "Nervous?"

Manik also look at him and nodded and Mr. Malhotra smile and continue "you know manik. When I was at your age na, my father, your grandpa also asked me to join the Malhotra industries. I also gets little nervous at that time if I will be able to handle this much big responsibility or not but then he told me that if you try then nothing is there in whole world to stop you."

Mr. Malhotra hold manik's shoulder and said confidently "I'm also saying the same to you my son. If you want, u can do anything. But the decision is all yours." Manik smile at his father and said "I'm ready dad to join Malhotra industries."

Listening him Mr. Malhotra hugged him and said "Thank you my son." Then he broke the hug and continue "and I think you should join from tomorrow. As I'm in India for 2 weeks so I can help you to get along with it." Manik smiled at his father's excitement and said "sure dad. I will surely join by tomorrow."

Then they both talk for a while about business. Actually Mr. Malhotra is explaining about their business deals and their business polices to manik so that he can aware of everything about Malhotra industries. While manik is also listening him very carefully and learning each and everything about business by one of the top businessman of the world i.e. his dad.

Malhotra Mansion, 01:30 pm.

When nandini return from her home and enter in to the mansion she found hall empty. So she first came towards kitchen and asked to a butler "dada. Manik aur dad kaha gaye?" he replied politely "ji wo dono study-room me hei."

Listening this she understood that they must be discussing about business as manik told her about dad's proposal for him to join Malhotra industries. She then said "okay. Wese lunch ready hei dada?" "ji beta." "ek kam kijiye ap table ready kijiye. Me abhi ati hu." All butlers nodded and she left for study.

(Study-room of Malhotra mansion)

She silently entered in study and show that both father-son were engrossed in their talk. So she knock the door to draw their attention towards her and then said "Can I come in?" looking at her manik said playfully "You can come would be Mrs. Malhotra."

Hearing his words she smile shyly and look other way to hide her blush when both Malhotra men smile at their shy soul nandu. And then she said changing the topic "Aren't you guys hungry? It's lunch time." Both Malhotra men said together "yes. Very hungry."

Then they both look at each other and now nandini burst into laughter and said "hahaha... duniya ke sabse bade foodie Malhotra mansion me hi hei." Seeing her laughing her heart out manik and his dad also smiled and soon the trio came towards dining area.
