Chapter 20 A

Nandini's POV..

"Churail..! Jungli billi chood mjy..!"Jack shouted as I pulled his hair fisted in my hands..!

"Nai choodon ge..!"I too yelled and Tiger bhai came running behind us..

"Nandu..! Bacha leave him..!"He tried to free Jack and I finally let go him..! Jack jumped away from us and I side hugged Bhai laughingly..! He too laughed while Jack was glaring at us..

"Theek hai beta..! Bana lo team..! Bana lo..! Ja raha hoon main.!"Jack shouted angrily and left stomping his foot..

"I hate him..!"I said still laughing..

"I know..! Acha come and eat something you haven't ate your dinner..!"Bhai too was behaving like Manik huff..!

"Mjy ni khana..!"I was bored of that high figh khana..!

"Acha come let's have ice cream at least..!"Bhai said patting my cheek and I happily agreed..! He served me my favorite mango ice cream and we talked..! Suddenly I realized Manik and Cabir bhai were missing..! Where were they?

"Bhai Manik kaha hain?"I asked when he didn't appeared after few minutes..

"He must be here only..! Come..!"Bhai said I happily followed him..! We reached garden..! Manik and Cabir bhai had their backs towards us..

"Tiger and Nandini are siblings..!"That's the only words we both heard and the ice cream cup fell off my hands..! I look at Bhai he too was as shocked as I was..! Why am I here? I am a Khurana's hier..! My parents threw me? Most of all Manik knew it..! They turned to us..

"Listen baby..!"Manik extended his hand towards me and I backed off..

"You lied..!"I said shaking my head and run to my room..! God it was hurting..! I was so much useless..! My Mother was dead? Where was my own Dad? Didn't he loved me? Aiyapaa...! I came in to my run I was hearing so Manik's shouts behind me but before he could approach me I bolted the door..!

"Chanda..! Meri jaan please..! We have better ways to sort it out..!"Manik shouted bangging the door and I shook my head constantly..! Vague thoughts..! I started breaking all the things possible in my room.

"Nandini..! Don't hurt yourself..! Look we can talk..!"Manik's shouts again..!

Writer's POV..

Tiger strode towards his apartment and bolted the door..! Cabir shouted from behind but who cares..! His Neha was alive..! So much injustice with the siblings..! How will he face Nandini?

Tiger fell on the floor and hugged his knees..! He cried his heart out..!

"Mama..!"He shouted for his Mom but his own voice came back echoing in the empty apartment..

Nandini too sat on the floor and hugged her knees..! She cried as much as she can..! She came to know about her parents and the reality was Mother was already dead..! Nandini felt that as if she just heard the news of her mother's death a suddenly a connection built up and broke..!

"Ahhh..!"She shouted in extreme pain and outside Manik was getting restless..

Tiger and Nandini were crying but the pain of separation and mother's death was not coming an end at any cost..!

"Mama..!"Nandini again sobbed..!

"I have been so strong till now..! Mjy dar lgta hai Maa..!"She spoke between her incoherent sobs..!

And what about Dad? Where was he? Why he didn't came to get her? Was she not worthy for anyone's love? Was she so bad? Was she very naughty? Did her parents hated her so much? Thought after thought..!

"Tiger..! Sleep..! Mama loves you..! Neha loves you..!"Tiger mother's whisper echoed..! The same whisper she spoke to him the night she died..

"Mama? Why are you saying like this? Ap kahen ja rhy ho?"Tiger had asked her holding her hand tightly..

"Haan..! Bohat door..! But I'll be always with you..! Stay strong..!"Mother spoke and kissed his temple..

"Ap mazaak kar ry ho na?"Tiger's innocent voice and mother held her tears..

"Haan mazaak hai..! Sleep..!"She said kissing his forehead once again and staring at mother's face Tiger slept..

"I wish..! I wish Mama main rook laita ap ko..!"He shouted reaching at the heights of discomfort and sadness..! Siblings were in PAIN..!

Chapter 20 B

Nandini's POV..

"Baby..! Please..! I beg you..! I beg you open the door...!"Manik was shouting worriedly banging my room door and I was felt like killing myself all the way..! I was so useless for my family..! They threw me away..!

"No..!"I yelled and broke another glass vase..

"Baby..! Listen we can talk..! We can sort it out..! Main hoon na your Manik..! I will make everything ok..! Meri jaan please..! Shona open the door..!"His words were not enough to calm down the fire inside me..! Suddenly I felt dizzy as my head was spinning and everything for me went blank as i fell on the floor with a thud..

Manik's POV..

Suddenly the sound from inside faded..! Was she ok?

"Baby?"I knocked again..! "You there?"I asked again now my worries increased..! What if she had done something to herself? God this girl..!

"Mohaan..! Extra key laoa..!"I shouted for Mohan and he was there with extra key in seconds..! I immediately opened the door and sight in front of me made me feel dizzy..! Everything was broken and Nandini was lying unconscious on the floor..!

"Crap..! Nandini..!"I shouted and rushed to get her in my arms. I picked her up and run out..!

"Mohan Doctor..! Simmi Pani laoa..!"I shouted for both of them and they run to follow orders..! I laid Nandini down on my bed and rubbed her palms..!

"Baby..! Hey open your eyes..!"I spoke hell scared and confused patting her cheeks but no response..! Simmi came with water I sprinkled some on her face and she gasped..! Suddenly her eyes shoot open..!

"Nandu? Are you ok? Ab kesa feel kar ri ho?"I asked worriedly holding her hands and she stared at me blankly..! "Baby speak something na..!"I was too on verge of crying..! But still no response instead she moved more closer to me I was half lying with her and snuggled in me..! She hide her face in my chest and I felt relieved..! At least she didn't pushed me away..! I gestured Simmi to go and she left closing the door behind her..!

"Manik..! Be with me..! Don't throw me away..!"She whispered against me chest and I closed my eyes to compose myself..! Her mental condition was getting worst..!

"Shh..! I am with you..! And no body is throwing you away..! Just relax..! It's just you and me..! Bus..! Nothing bad will happen..! I will take care of everything..!"I assured her and held her more close to me..!

"Nobody loves me na? That's why my own parents threw me away?"Her fade and innocent question were so difficult for me..!

"They had their own reasons jaan..!"I tried to explain..

"What reason Manik? Kya me pyari ni the? Or I was not worthy for love?"She was arguing at least she was letting it all out..!

"Hey you are worthy..! You are my life..!"I tried again..

"No I wasn't..! If I was then why my own parents threw me away? And bhai..! Why he didn't tried to find me..?"She suddenly shouted and got up..! Crap her thoughts were going negative for Tiger I can't let that happen he won't be able to bear this..!

"Jaan..! Listen to me..!"I tried to held her arms but she shoved my hands away..! I tried again she shoved again at last on third try she allowed me to held her and I pulled her in my lap...! "Meri baat carefully suno..! Jo main tmhy btaoan ga you have to believe it..!"I again spoke and she helplessly hide her face in my neck..!

"Your father never wanted a girl..!"I started and felt her grip on my waist became tight. I have to tell her the whole truth before she came to know it from someone else..! "That's why your father and mother had differences..! One night your Mom left the house with you and she handed over you to Maa..! Then she committed suici..!"Before I could say something more Nandini palmed my lips..

"Please..! It's hurting beyond repair I don't wanna hear the truth please...!"She pleaded and sobbed incoherently I held her as close as possible and let her cry..! Her nails were digging in my back and there was no end for her tears..! I was glad at least she was trusting me enough to let me hold her..! "Manik..! Please do something..! I am dying..!"She said between her sobs and kissed her forehead..

"Shh..! Patience..! I am with you..! Nothing bad will happen..!"I said patting her head and she shook her head in my neck..

"I will die Manik..! This pain is too much...!"She said helplessly and I sighed..

"Baby..! Everything will be ok..! Shhh just let it go..! Just breath..! Look at me..!"I said politely and made her look at me...! She look at me with teary eyes. I cupped her face and kissed her lips softly..! "Sometimes this destiny plays unfair..! It tries to hurt us but strong people always face it with bravery and I know you are very strong..! You will face everything with courage..!"I boasted up her up and she shook her head again..

"No..! I am not strong..! Nahi ban'na mjhy strong..! Main thak gai hoon Manik..! Ap ko pta hai how much difficult it was to accept that I had no family..! Myny apny ap ko smjhy liya tha Manik..! Then suddenly mjy pata chalta hai that I have a family but still I was an orphan..! Bohat dard ho ra hai Manik..! Bohat ziada..!"She shouted crying all the time and I knew she was right..! I can understand how much it must be diffcult for her..

"Hey shhh..! Everything will be ok..! Just trust me..!"I again hugged her..

"Sab kab theek ho ga?"She asked like an innocent baby looking at me and I sighed..

"It's just a bad night Nandini...! The next morning will bring new hopes..! Trust me...! Try to sleep..!"I said lovingly and palmed her eyes.

"Ap kahen mat jana..!"She whispered her last words before dozing off and I pecked her forehead..

"Main kahen nahi ja raha jaan..!"I said lying her on the bed carefully..! She was exhausted due to constant crying even she hadn't ate anything..! But sleep too was important..! I carefully took off all her jewelry and kept sitting with her..! Sleep was far away from my eyes I was hell worried for Tiger..! He too must be going through the same..! I should go to him before Nandini woke up..! I carefully freed my hand from Nandini's grip and left for Tiger's apartment after giving instructions to Mohan and Simmi about Nandini..

Chapter 20 C

I ringed Tiger's apartment bell..! My cell phone was constantly popping up with my buddies messages they all wanted to know the real matter but I was ignoring it because the need of hour was Tiger and Nandini..! Pehly un ko tou sambhaal loon..! I ringed again but no response I pushed the door and it went open..

"Buddy..!"I called for Tiger but no response. Everything was broken..! Typical siblings..! I chuckled..! No no..! Manik focus..! Serious..! I walked a little ahead..! And saw him sitting on the mini bar counter..

"Chala ja yahan say Manik..!"Tiger spoke as I approached him..! His eyes were blood red and so many smoked cigarettes were lying here and there on the floor..! Ashtray was overflowing..! And he was drinking..!

"Buddy..! Sun tou..!"I tried to talk to Tiger but he trashed the vine glass on the floor..

"Janta tha tu? Sab pta tha tjyy..! Kaminy..! Q nahi btaya mjy..!"He again accused me grabbing my collars and I was helpless..! Now I was sure Nandini was Tiger's sister..!

"Buddy..!"I tried to speak..

"Bakwas band..! Dafa ho ja yaha say..!"He shouted and pushed me away..!

"Nahi jaoan ga..! Akly pee raha hai mjy bhi day..!"I said in a calm tone and sat near the bar while Tiger was eating me with eyes. I became dheet and poured a shot for me..!

"Tu janta hai how much it's hurting?"He said staring at the floor as I felt tears brimming in his eyes..! I placed the glass back on the counter and walked towards him..! I placed my hands on his shoulders and he look at me..!

"Jaanta hoon..! Trust me mjy bhi aj subha he pata chala..! Maa told me..! Dekh buddy..! Naraaz mat ho..! Nandini is equally hurt..!"I said softly and suddenly I felt panic in his eyes..!

"Nandini..! God..! Apny gusy me I forgot her..! Kesi hai wo? Bohat ro rahi ho ge na?"He started freaking out..

"Relax..! I calmed her down and she was sleeping..!"I said smiling on his concern..

"Mjy dekhna hai usy..! Mjjy lay chal..!"He was sounding like a baby..!

"Haan..! Main lay chaloon ge..! Hug?"I said asking for a hug and he banged in my arms..! Thank God maan gya jaldi..! Now it was Nandini's turn..!

I reached home with Tiger and asked him to take rest as Nandini too was still sleeping. I came to kitchen it was morning now..! All the fuss has chewed my brain I needed a coffee..!

"Morning Manik Sir..! Here is your coffee..!"Simmi placed a coffee cup on the table and I jumped with happiness..

"Morning Simmi.! Thank you for the coffee..!"I sat on the chair and started sipping coffee..!

"Is Nandini Mam ok?"She asked chopping the veggies and I nodded..

"She will be..! Acha listen as I know my friends will be here anytime sooner..! Prepare breakfast for them..! And for Nandini too..!"I said finishing my coffee and she nodded..

"I have cooked all the favorite dishes of Mam..!"She said smiling and I left the kitchen thanking her. Mohan was out for grocery..! I came inside the room and saw Nandini awake..! Staring at the ceiling..

"Baby..! You are up?"I asked as I rushed towards her..! She was looking calm..!

"I just woke up..! Good morning..!"She smiled a little and got up..! I sat beside her and took her in a back hug..!

"Good morning..! Seems like my baby is in a good mood..!"I said kissing her hair and she wrapped her arms around my waist..

"I am sorry for last night..!"She said kissing my heart..

"Hey..! It's ok..! I completely understand..! I am glad that you opened up..! You won't be accepting all this aisy he..! I am glad that you fought..!"I said patting her head.

"You are my soulmate Manik.! I love u..!"She said looking at me with a smile and I pecked her forehead..! "Mjy bhai say milna hai..!"She said staring at my face..

"Bhai say bhi mil lain gay..! First you tell me what my girl wants to have in breakfast? This time no bahana..!"I said strictly and she pouted I couldn't resist but to peck her lips..! She smiled sheepishly and traced her finger on my chest..!

"Aalo Paratha?"I started the menu for breakfast and she shook her head in no..!

"Masala chicken..?!"I asked again..

"Ni..!"She shook her head again childishly..!

"Umm..! Pasta..!?"

"Wo bhi ni..!"

"Puri?"

"Naa..!"

"Phr kya khana hai jaan?"I asked helplessly..

"Jo ap apny hath say bana kay khilayen gay wo..!"She said lovingly looking at my face and I smiled..! She was behaving so cool but I knew I wasn't easy for her..

"Acha? Chalo thk hai..! But first you have to freshen up..!"I said tucking few strands behind her ear..! She smiled in response and I smirked..! "Waisy I have an idea..!"I said pulling her in my lap and she became excited..

"Kya idea hai?"She asked encircling her arms around my neck..

"Idea is..!"I whispered near her lips..

"Is?"She whispered back..!

"Let's have shower together..!"I whispered in her ear and she turned crimson..

"Waisy Idea bura ni hai..!"She said shyly and I smirked more answer was unexpected but was very exciting for me..!

"Acha..!"I said happily and within seconds scooped her in my arms..!

"Manik..! Main mazaak kar rahi the..!"She panicked and started moving her legs..

"But I am serious..!"I said in a serious tone..

"Haww..! Besharam..!"She shouted nervously and hugged me tightly..! I laughed loudly.! I reached bathroom and bolted the door behind us..! I placed her on the floor..! I applied toothpaste on her brush and gave her..!

"Manik..! I don't like this taste of toothpaste..! Kal say I won't brush with this..!"She complaint like a baby and I smiled..! I filled the bathtub with mild warm water and poured a strawberry flavored body wash in it..! She was still in yesterday's night royal blue gown..! I walked towards her she had finished brushing her teeth. My hands reached for the zip of her dress and she gasped..! With that she turned towards me..!

"Manik..!"She look at me confused and I pulled her towards me..! She banged in my chest..

"Shh..! Let me do it..! Please..!"I said softly and she placed her head on my chest as a gesture of yes..! I slowly I unzipped her dress and it fell off her shoulders..! Her grip on my back became more tight..

"Look at me?"I pleaded and she looked at me..! She tiptoed and placed her lips on mine..! After a long time we were kissing like this..! I broke the kiss for seconds and threw my shirt away..! Then back to kissing mode..! Her hands traveled to my hair and I picked her up. I walked towards the bathtub and was about to place her in it when she broke the kiss..!

"Ni..!"She clinged to me..

"What happened..!"I asked holding her close to me..

"Bathtub ni..!"She said shyly and I smiled..!

"Ohk..! Shower?"I asked and she nodded..! I walked towards the shower and pinned her with the wall..! She moaned as I trailed hickeys down her neck and throat..! Her hands were struggling to get free from my grip..!

"Manik..!"She cried helplessly as water poured down off our bodies..! I knew why she cried so I released her hands she gripped my shoulders for support..! Before she could collapse I stopped my tortures and she was about to fall when I held her..! I kissed her hair and she clinged to me.! I stopped because I didn't wanted her to get exhausted today was important..!

Chapter 20 D

I made her sit on the kitchen counter and she encircled her arms around my neck..!

"So what you want to eat?"I asked touching her nose and she giggled..

"Umm..! Manik's special..!"She exclaimed and I laughed..

"Acha..! Mjy tou bus cheese omelet aata hai..!"I said like a 'nakaam chef' and she again laughed..

"Tou cheese omelet he kha loon ge..!"she said smiling all the time..!

"Aye aye princess..!"I said saluting her and she laughed loudly..! Then I gave her an apple to eat and I myself started working for omelet..! she was blabbering about everything possible..! Now I was coming to know her more better it was her way to release her frustration..! I cooked omelet in no time..! Tiger must be sleeping and Mohan Simmi too were out..! I slowly fed her and listened to her blabber carefully..! As soon as I wiped her face last time with the napkin..! We heard footsteps behind us and I saw Tiger entering the kitchen..! Nandini was still sitting on the counter and I was standing so close to her..! As soon as Tiger entered I backed off..

"Oh am sorry..! I didn't expected you both here..! Main baad me ata hoon..!"He said in an apologetic tone and was about to go..

"Hey buddy it's ok..! Tum dono batain karo..! Me baki friends ko dekhta hoon..!"I excused myself and run out of the kitchen leaving the siblings alone..!

Nandini's POV..

Suddenly an awkwardness built up between us and I rubbed my sweaty palms with my shorts..! Bhai too was looking away..! I was sitting on the counter and the counter was a bit higher for me..! I tried to jump but it was high..! I look at bhai and he was staring at me. He slowly walked towards me and helped me in getting down.

"Sorry..!"He spoke in a little voice and I stared at him..! His eyes were lowered he was guilty? "Am sorry for all those years which you spent without me..! Without a family..! Am sorry for what Dad did..! Am sorry from Mom's side too..! Janta hoon tu naraz ho ge mj say..! Tera haq banta hai..! But please mjy aik chance day..! I promise I will make it up for all those years..!"He said and knelt in my feet..! I was baffled..! Stunned..! I never thought he will apologize..! I too fell beside him and held his hands which he was holding in front of me for sorry..

"Bhai..! Please..! Ni..! Don't say sorry...!"I said wiping his tears and cupped his cheeks..! "Manik ny mjy sab bta diya hai..! It wasn't ur fault...!"I too sobbed and he hugged me tightly..! Suddenly we heard loud clapping and we broke apart..!

"Congratulations siblings..!"Cabir bhai came and hugged us..! Then all came and hugged us one by one..! Manik was standing leaning with the kitchen door staring at my face all the time and smiling..!

"I can't believe kay you both are siblings..!"Max shouted happily and bhai took me for a side hug..

"But I do believe..!"Jack said with tongue in cheek and I glared him..

"How do you believe?"Mukti asked curiously..

"Dono he aik jesy hain..! Jungli..!"Jack said and after that he run out of kitchen to save himself while I run behind him to beat him mercilessly..!

"I won't spare you..!"I shouted and all laughingly followed us..

"Aray Churail..! Chood mjy..!"He yelled as he fell on the floor on his stomach and I sat on his back..! With that I grabbed a cushion from nearby couch and hit his head..!

"Manik..! Tiger..! Max..! Cabir bachaoa bhai log..!"He shouted and finally Manik picked me up..!

"Churail..!"Jack again teased me and I made a grumpy face..

"Chodo mjy..! I will kill him..!"I yelled and Manik made me sit on the couch..

"Jack..! Enough..!"Cabir bhai and Max said in unison..!

"Fine fine..! Sorry Nandu..!"Jack said smilingly and held his ear..! I look at Manik and Bhai asking whether to forgive him or not and they both nodded..!

"It's ok..!"I said finally and all sighed..! Then we talked and talked..! Until..! Manik spoke..

"Miss secretary..! Vacations are over..! If you want to save your job then meet me at the office in an hour..!"Manik said getting up with his buddies and my eyes widened..

"Manik but..!"I tried to argue..

"You want me to fire you?"He asked sarcastically and I shook my head..

"Good..! Then see you at office..! All meetings file should be with you..!"He ordered and walked out followed by Max, Cabir and Jack..! Tiger bhai too left after giving me a hug and now I was left with my girls party..

"Nandini..! We can drop you..!"Alya said smilingly..

"YEah..! Tu ready ho ja..! Then will drop you at Manik's office..!"Mukti too said I was about to speak when..

"And yes..! Only Mohan will drop you no one else..! Alya Mukti..! Tum jaoa..! It's an order Nandini no arguments..!"Manik peeped in again and I sighed..! I look helplessly at MukLya and they both nodded in assurance..! I run to my room to get ready..!

I got ready in my pink lacy blazer with matching outfit and wow I was looking damn cute..!

Shoo Nandu kya soch ri hai run for your job..! Monster Manik I won't leave you..! Aik baar ghar aoa..! I came to the Mansion's parking and saw Mohan Dada already waiting for me..! I reached office in no time, thanking Dada I run to collect all the files..! Only 10 minutes were left in one hour..!

Aiyooo..! I was running in the corridor to save my job my cruel BOSS huhh I will kill him once i will get him home..! And boom..! I banged with someone..! All the files i was holding in my hand fell down..!

"Aiyaapa..! I am sorry Sir..!"I freaked out and the person's face was unfamiliar for me. He was man of very dashing personality maybe of 50 years..! Or maybe more..! Am bad in guessing things though..!

"It's ok..! are you ok?"He asked affectionately and i nodded..! "Why are you running like this?"He asked curiously as i picked up the files..

"Wohh kya hai na..! Meray boss..! Aray wo Manik Malhotra..! Huhh he is very kharoos..!"I said sadly as the same time angrily..! "He is a monster..! Ap ko pata hai unhn ny mjy bola hai agr aik hour me files complete na hue tou he will fire me..! Is that fair Sir?"Loohhh ji ho gai me strangers say free..! And the man shook his head sadly..

"It's so unfair..!"He said nodding his head and I became more sad..! I grabbed a chocolate from my bag and broke it in half..!

"Here have this..!"My habit of sharing forced me to even share it with a stranger when suddenly..

"Nandini..!"I heard Manik's yell and we both turned..

Manik's POV..

Nandini hadn't reached yet so I myself came out of my Cabin to look for her and the sight in front of me in corridor made me gasp..! Nandini was sharing chocolate with DAD..! I rushed towards them and she gave me glare.! And the next thing she did made me more furious..

"Sir..! Yahe hain wo monster..! Please Save me..!"She said dramatically and hide behind Dad..! Dad didn't spoke anything but kept staring at me..

"Nandini..! Enough of your drama..! Get lost and sit in my office..! Don't you dare to come out until I ask you to come..!"I shouted as loud as I could she gasped.! Shit ziada ho gya..! I am sorry..! Instantly tears welled up in her eyes and she ran towards my office..! As soon as she left..! Dad spoke..

"You shouldn't have scolded her like this..!"He said softly and I look at him all shocked..! Now what was he up to..!
