Part 14 :
"chalein..?" manik said looking at nandini and she looked at him and said "as if I have a choice.." and both moved towards the door. Mukthi and abhi entered first holding each others hand followed by dhruv and aliya with dhruv wrapping aliya in his arms totally and cabir and navya with cabir holding her hand and was almost dragged navya inside with him and finally manan with nandini a step ahead of him and manik was the last.
Abhi and Mukthi screamed together when a man dressed like a Dracula appeared In front of them from no where. Aliya screamed her lungs out when the man dressed as a ghost tapped her shoulder and hugged dhruv tightly and he consoled her. Before anything could happen navya hugged cabir hearing the screams and hid her face against his chest and said " cabir jii humhae bahuth darr lag raha hai... bahar chalae jatae hai na.. pleaseee.." cabir smiled and wrapped his hand around her and said "its ok navya mai hun na.. y to fear when cabir is here.." and smiled when she looked at him innocently. And then cabir bent down and kissed her cheeks to which she blushed and tried to break the hug but cabir didn't let her go and said pulling her towards him "u don't want to say anything.." and navya looked down. Cabir lifted her face with his fore finger to make her look at him and navya's eyes widened and she screamed loudly making cabir palm his ears "cabirrr...!!!!!!!! Bhooth...!!!!!!!!!!" and pushed the man who came her with such a force that poor fellow fell down on the ground with a loud thud and winced in pain and all laughed their guts out watching navya doing so. All were holding their stomachs and laughing watching the whole scenario and navya felt a little embarrassed on her act and shyly hid her face with her palms. Cabir stopped laughing after a while and said side hugging navya "yaar... hahaha... superb ho tum... bhooth ko hi dara diya...hahaha" and again burst out laughing mukthi said admist laughing "bechara kabhi kisi koi nai darai ga ... hahaha.. kamal kar diya navya tunae..." and again started laughing.
"chalo chalo aagae chaltae hai... this is just the beginning... we have a lot to cover ahead.." dhruv said after gathering some breath and all nodded in agreement. All the time manan were silent and nandini'd mind was giving her warnings regarding manik's silence and same was the case with manik. Both looked at each other and moved with the gang. With a lot of screaming session they were finally nearing the end. A boy was sitting at the exit door with his eyes closed and head hanging down seeing whom aliya said "hey u.. don't try to scare us okay.. we saw u.." and mukthi added "aliya we already saw him na chod he is not gonna do anything... he is just sitting.. come we will be out in few steps dar math.." and mukbhi dhrulya and cavya reached the door. The boy was on the side where nandini was standing with manik beside her. Suddenly a man came from the side where manik was standing scaring the shit out of him and he fell on nandini with a sudden jerk and the boy who was sitting all calm till now also screamed as nandini along with manik fell on him. Nandini was sandwiched between the boy and manik and she also screamed as 3 more people came and surrounded them. Manik palmed his ears and said in a loud voice "stop screaming..." and nandini hugged him and said "manik see kittae log hai..." and that was when manik lifted his head up and said looking at his friends "yaar come and help us.." to which mukthi abhi rushed to them and help them stand properly and manik said forwarding his hand to the boy on whom they fell "sorry dude.. it was unexpected.." he smiled and left from there and again took his position. All moved towards the exit and last to come out were manan when again two people came and scared them again this time manik didn't get scared as he already saw them coming instead pushed nandini on them and ran from there. Nandini got scared for a moment The two people caught nandini and made her stand properly and she yelled "manik u r so gone " and ran after manik who now ran past the exit door and all others slapped their fore heads and nodded their heads in disbelief seeing the duo. Manik was running with nandini behind him saying "manik stop.. or else I will kill u... stop manik..." and ran to catch him but this time manik was faster he slipped from her grip twice which annoyed her more. All the people in the mall were looking at them with quite weird expression but the people at whom they were giving those looks were least bothered about the surroundings. Running in the same speed finally manik reached the stair case which was deserted and he again heard her calling him "manik stop.. stop... warna bahuth pitogae tum..." but he kept moving down the steps with two steps in one time. "ahhh... manik...!!!" nandini yelled in pain holding her foot and manik looked at her and without a second thought went towards her and said kneeling down beside her said holding her feet "nandu kya hua... kahan lagi.. did u foot get twisted... who asked u to run so fast... show me where is it hurting" and started checking her leg. both were breathing heavily because of constant running. Nandini herld his ear and said twisting it "bola than a ki nai rukae ga toh bhari padaega.." and manik winced in pain "u panda u cheated..." manik also yelled but in a painful tone as nandini had held his ear really tightly.
"u were the one who started it... and now I will end it.." nandini said looking straight into his eyes and slowly got up still holding manik's ear and he tried his best to free himself but nandini was not in a mood to leave him so easily. Manik tried and tried but was not successful in freeing himself so finally he started in his way. He looked at nandini who was observing the surroundings to find the way from where they had come there. Manik within no time held her by waist and pinned her to the nearest wall and nandini got shocked to the core with his sudden move and left his ear forgetting everything.
Manik slowly moved his fingers from her shoulders to her finger tips in a seductive manner and entwined her fingers with his. Nandini closed her eyes tightly getting lost in his touch and manik smirked seeing her expression. He bent close to her face and said just coming close to her lips "manik malhotra ko pakadana itna aasan nahi hai.." and again ran away after giving a peck on her lips. Nandini opened her eyes after registering what he just said and started running after him.
They entered the mall and the rest of the gang spotted them and went towards them to stop the tom and jerry. Cabir caught manik and mukthi held nandini.
"stop it both of u... ghar nahi hai yae.." cabir said in a loud tone
"mukthi chod mujhae... aaj toh yeh gaya marae hathon.." nandini said angrily looking at manik who just blew a kiss and winked at her irritating her more.
"stop it now... enough.." dhruv said in the same loud tone and nandini looked at others . all had a serious expression on their faces and nandini stood calm and abhi signalled mukthi to leave her and mukthi did the same.
"guys bohath masti ho gayi.. now lets go home.." abhi said looking at others and all nodded approvingly and slowly they moved to parking and manik abhi cabir and dhruv went to get their cars and bikes.
Manik came and mukthi and nandini sat inside and after bidding bye to everyone they left followed by others and cabir dropped navya.
Manan and mukthi entered the house and it was already dinner time so dj asked them to freshen up and come down and they obeyed.
Soon the dinner was done with lots of chit chat but manan were silent all the time and were secretly stealing glances and after dinner all retired to their rooms.
In mukthi and nandini's room :
"golu ek baath puchu..?" nandini aksed looking at mukthi who had just laid beside her on the bed to which mukthi replied "puch na... y r u being formal..?" nandini sat on the bed excitedly and said "ek plan hai meri help karaegi...?" mukthi got suspicious seeing her excitement all of a sudden who was totally quiet till now and said getting up
"kaisa plan..?" and nandini narrated the whole thing. Mukthi's eyes widened in shock hearing all that and she said "nandu agar pakadae gayae na toh I swear consequences bahuth bhari padangae..."
"arae chill yaar... kaisae pakadae jayangae... tu bol meri help karaegi ki nai..." nandini said making a cute angry pout crossing her hands across her chest. Mukthi sighed and said "ok fine... chal.. ill help u.." and nandini immediately hugged her in excitement.
Late that night :
Manik was in his deep sleep when he heard his door getting knocked. He woke up rubbing his eyes to open the door but on opening it didn't find anyone. He got surprised a little but didn't think much about it and walked to his bed again. The moment he laid on his bed again there was a knock on the door. First he didn't get up but the person was continuously knocking the door so finally he got up to open the door to kill the who disturbed him at this hour. He was about to blast on the one but again there was no one there. Manik got a little surprised and decided to check whether if it was mukthi or nandini as these were the only two names he could think off. Manik silently moved to their room and opened the door without making noise and got surprised to see both of them sleeping. And manik went to his room closing the door behind without making noise. He came to his room and again laid back on the bed little confused. After 5 minutes now there was knock on his balcony door and his room door simultaneously. Manik got scared a little now and got confused as which door to open first. Finally after gathering a lot of courage he moved to his room door but didn't dare to open the balcony door and surprisingly found mukthi standing there. She had her eyes closed. The moment manik opened the door she pushed him away and walked straight to his bed and slept pulling the blanket over her. Manik was still standing at the door with his mouth opened in a perfect O. he somehow got out of the shock and came towards mukthi where she was sleeping and gently placed his hand on her head caressing her hair and the moment manik placed his hand on her mukthi with still her eyes closed yelled loudly saying "mai tujhae nai chodundi... nai chodungi..." and saying so she grabbed manik's shirt. Manik got horrified seeing mukthi in such a state and said holding her hands "mukthi baccha.. open your eyes.. its me baby your bhai.. open your eyes once.." and patted her cheeks lightly but mukthi didn't open her eyes but held his shirt more tightly and repeated the same lines. And this time manik got horrified to the core. He didn't knew what to do and whom to call for help at that hour of night. Manik sat in the same position and mukthi fell back on the bed suddenly and covered her face with the blanket again. Manik immediately got up from beside her and wiped the sweat formed on his forehead and decided to run out of that room first as he was not getting what was happening. He was about to open the door of his room to run away when he again heard knocking of the door. Now it was not only his room's door and balcony door but also the door which was interconnection between his and mukthi's room. He took his hand away from the door knob with a jerk and looked around his room. All the three door's were being knocked by someone. Manik was sweating badly now. He taking some baby steps reached the couch in his room and sat on it not knowing what to do and where to go. He looked at mukthi who was sleeping with her face also covered with the pillow. Manik didn't dare to go and sit beside her again. Slowly he heard the door knob of his room being turned and his eyes widened with horror. He got up with a jerk to see who it was and then entered our nandini. Nandini also had her eyes closed and she too walked straight to his bed and slept beside mukthi covering her face with the blanket. Manik sighed in relief and slowly moved to the door to get out but found it locked form outside and now this wasn't expected by him. He sat back on the couch with his face buried in his palms and thought of calling cabir as he didn't wanted to disturb his family members late in the night. Manik moved towards his bed to get his cell which was on the side table beside it . he forwarded his hand to take his cell and nandini caught his hand from inside the blanket and manik slapped his forehead with the other hand. She held his hand and placed it near her face and slept keeping his hand in her hand. He gently cupped her cheep with the hand which she was holding and a sweet smile crept her face seeing which he also smiled a little. He sat beside her on the floor as she wasn't leaving his hand. He was admiring her calm face when suddenly he felt her grip on his hand tightening and frowns forming on her face. He slightly patted her cheeks to wake her up but she closed her eyes tightly and said " nai chodungi mai tujhae... nai chodungi..." nandini said in the same style as mukthi said a while ago. Manik again gulped the lump formed in his throat as nandini held his shirt tightly and was about to punch him in her famous style. Manik closed his eyes tightly getting ready for the punch but on feeling nothing her opened his eyes completely and saw nandini sleeping in the same position. He sighed in relief and decided to run away before he was caught again. He in a fraction of second grabbed his cell and ran to the couch to dial cabir. The moment he dialled and the call got connected he heard cabir's cell ringing nearby. Again a shock for manik. He cut the call and again dialled cabirs number and now his cell was switched off. Manik's doubts got cleared now and he moved towards his washroom and closed the door behind.
"yaar tera bhai washroom kyu gaya iss waqt.. aur stupid cabir ka phone bhi shayad sunai diya hai is monster ko.. golu ab kya karen.." nandini whispered peeping through the blanket and mukthi too replied in a hushed tone "mujhae toh lagtha hai ki pakadae gaye hai... ek idea hai.. lets run away before we r really caught.." and saying this mukthi got up to leave and so did nandini. They knocked the interconnection door and it got opened in no time and both ran into their room and locked all the possible doors.
"kya why r u people so scared..? manik ko pata chal gaya kya..?" dhruv asked looking at navthi.
"shayad pakadae gayae hai... uss cabir ko phone baj gaya.. aur lagtha hai bhai ko shaq ho gaya hai..." mukthi said looking at the door's where possibly manik could come. "what... shit..." Dhruv said rushed towards their balcony and signalled cabir to come into mukthi's room. And in no time all four were sitting on mukthi's bed waiting for manik to react.
"yaar.. kuch nai hua hai.. vo kumbh karan phir sae so gaya hoga.. so chill.." cabir said in a super cool tone and continued "manik kae face dekhnae layak tha... hahaha... kitna dar gaya tha bechara... hahaha" and started laughing.
"lekin mujhae bahuth dar lag raha hai.." mukthi said wiping the sweat from her forehead...
"chill yaar... mai hun na... y to fear when nandu is here..." nandini boasted and winked at a total nervous mukthi who smiled faintly as only she knew her bhai...
"wait ill see what manik is doing..." dhruv said getting up to peep through the key hole of the common door.
"yaar yeh to so gaya..." dhruv said in a loud whisper and cabini frowned and mukthi heaved a sigh of relief.
"yaar tum dono jao... we will meet tomorrow morning in canteen..now go.." mukthi said pushing dhruv and cabir to the balcony and they left without making noise.
"nandu kae aaiyappa... humhae bacha lo..." mukthi said folding her hands and looking up.
"chill yaar mukthi.. so ja tu..." nandu said casually and laid on the bed and pulled the duvet over her face and mukthi too lied fearing the consequences of tomorrow morning.
