Manan were walking around the backYard and all of a sudden the lights went off...nandini got scared and she clutched manik's hand tightly
Manik - hey relax why r u getting scared...
Nandini - ye lights kabhi gayi nayi aur aaj all of a sudden chale gayi...mujhe dar lag raha hai
Manik - andhere se darna to mujhe chahiye but abhi hum saath hai to kyu darna
Nandini - but itna time ho gaya hai...itne andhere me hum kabhi nahi rahe
Manik - aur hum kabhi rahenge bhi nahi
Nandini - matlab
Manik - matlab abhi pata chal jayenga...upar dekho asman me

Nandini looked up at the sky with a confuse expression but after what she saw made her stunned on her place...she looked at manik with an amused expression with her mouth wide open
"Wow" that the only thing she could utter at that time
The whole backyard along with manan was glowing bcoz of the fireflies and off course with love in the air
When manan were in malhotra mansion...nandini lost all her fireflies bcoz of her one experiment with some hydrochloric acid and the fireflies never came back bcoz of the polluted air and even after the chemical reaction was gone fireflies never came back...that was the main reason for manik to shift from malhotra mansion to manan mansion and nandini was always happy but she use to miss her fireflies and manik tried to make her happy by showing 5-6 fireflies but that was not enough for him
But today on this beautiful occasion of the diwali manik finally made her glow with his love and the light of fireflies
Nandini looked at manik with tears of happiness...while he was just standing folding his arms before his chest and looking at her rather than the fireflies...she ran towards him and hugged tightly...he lost his balance with the sudden hug but controlled before he fall back and hugged her back tightly
Manik - so how is it?
Nandini - oh so ur still asking me this question
She broke the hug and without any delay fussed her lips with his... he knew this would come so he was all ready for this and responded to her kiss quickly...after getting breathless they broke the kiss and both looked up in the sky together where the fireflies are still glowing
Nandini - manik will fireflies come here again and again
Manik looked at her...she was still gazing at the fireflies without blinking her eyes
Manik - yes they will come...whenever u want them to
Nandini shifted her gaze from the fireflies to manik and said - I love u manik...this is the best diwali gift ever
Manik - I love u too
Manik paused a bit and then said "but"...nandini gave him a confusing look and he answered to clear her confusion
Manik - my diwali gift?
Nandini mouthed an "O" then said - chalo abhi batati hu
Nandini blindfolded manik's eye...then led him towards the terrace by holding his hand
Manik - nandini sambhal ke chalo
Nandini - ankhe tumhari band hai tum sambhal ke chalo
Manik - but lekar kaha ja rahi ho
Nandini - manik thodi der chup raho na...abhi pata chal jayenga
Manik - ffiiine
Carefully after climbing the stairs, manan reached on the terrace and nandini asked manik to open his blindfold
Nandini - come on manik jaldi blindfold kholo
Manik - kyu...tum kholo na
Nandini playfully hit manik on his arm and said - stop joking and open the blindfold
Manik - I'm not joking...its ur surprise...u told me to blindfold I did and now u have to make some efforts
Nandini - ok bend a little bit down
Manik gave a playful smirk and said - no I won't bend
Nandini - manik don't make fun of my height ok
Manik - I'm not making fun of ur height but do anything and open the blindfold
Nandini - manik there is no stool over here...main kaise blindfold kholu
Manik - socho socho...kya kar sakti ho...
Nandini - OK pick me up
Manik smiled widely and said - off course I would love to do that

Nandini cupped his face and gave cute pecks on his fave and opened the blindfold but still manik had his eyes closed...she pecked both his eyes one by one and manik opened his eyes...

Manik gently made nandini stand on her feet but his eyes didn't left the shine on each every corner of the terrace...nandini waited for him to look at her but he was so busy in admiring the animated stars which were glowing through a lamp with manan constellation graved in it...nandini made a grumpy face...she held his chin by her fingers made him look at her...
Manik - this is so cool...as if stars has landed...
Nandini cut his words in between and completed - stars have landed on manan land to shine for us
Manik - but ye kaise...ek dum real lag rahe hai
Nandini slapped her head and said - offo manik...thoda notice kiya hota...wo neeche lamp dekho
Manik - oh ha...par aise bhi lamp hote hai...main to pehli baar dekh raha hu
Nandini - well nahi hote hai...but I made it possible...coz its made by me
Manik - what...itni jaldi...par kaise?
Nandini - well I have been making this from a long time but completed it yesterday...for u and for us
Manik - wow this is brilliant...u know what...mujhe iska process batai banane ka...I want to launch this lamp as a product
Nandini - what?...no manik ye itna bhi acha nahi hai...
Manik - are u insane...this is cool plus amazing...everyone would love it aur har jagah sirf humare stars shine honge
Nandini - uff u mad manik seriously
Manik again picked up nandini holding her leg and screamed happily
Manik - yes I'm mad...I'm madly in love with u
Nandini - manik tumhare hatho me na dard ho jayenga...put me down now
Manik - oh hello scientist...I can never get enough of holding my nandini in my arms...so don't distract me saying nonsense
Nandini chuckled at his words which made manik smile and he kissed her without informing so she took time but responded to his kiss...manik was still holding her in his arms and they were kissing smoothly smiling ing in between the kiss but were not getting enough of it but they had to break the sizzling moment bcoz of getting breathless...they joined their forehead while breathing heavily and wished "happy diwali" to each other at the same time and nandini hugged manik circling her arms around his neck...they were lost in the moment but manik got back his senses bcoz of the sound of crackers and he broke the hug and made nandini stand on her
Nandini - kya hua
Manik looked at his wrist watch and started panicking - oh shit only 10 mins left for the diwali to end
Nandini - so what...again it will come next year na
Manik - arre aur ek surprise bacha hai...chalo jaldi neeche
Nandini - what?...one more
Manik didn't spoke further and took nandini hurriedly downstairs on the first floor...he gave a key and asked her to open the door and she didn't questioned him coz she know it will be useless...so she opened the door and it was was dark as their were no lights...manik entwined his fingers with nandini and switched on the lights

"Surprise" manik said joyfully
"This is so beautiful" nandini said holding her tummy
"Happy diwali baby and mumma" manik said after kneeling down in front of nandini and kissing her tummy over the fabric
"Happy diwali to u too daddy" nandini said ruffling his hair and manik circled his arms around her tummy and Nuzzled in it with lot of pecks
"Hey I forgot one thing" manik said after standing up
"Now what manik" nandi said giving him a "u r impossible"look
Manik didn't say anything and picked up nandini in his arms and took her to their bedroom...after coming inside their room and locking it manik made nandini lay on the bed...both were looking in each other eyes with full of love and they went back to the memory lane...their first ever diwali which made manik and nandini come close to each other
Manik slide his finger from her shoulder to the palm and entwined it tightly pinning to the bed...he moved close to her neck and gave a long kiss to which nandini shivered and left his hand hugged him tightly...he again looked at her after giving the neck kiss and whispered
"I love u...very very much nandini"
Nandini opened her eyes and said "I love u too manik...more than anything" So here is the update
I know it's a bit short but can't help it as my eyes are paining and I'm not well
